Can I add something about Maul impaling Qui Gon?!
As he pushes the blade deeper with a second thrust Maul has a vicious look as he looks Qui Gon in the eyes... as if he was funnelling all the dark side energy he could muster. At that moment you see the shock reaction in Qui Gon's eyes, as realising he was not prepared for that level of dark energy experience.
The power of intent!
Next time we see Bendu, he should raise his head and say, "scan complete"
What I really like about this series is it brought back colour. Bright lights and colourful aliens.
YES!
true, but i wish the purgill had more purple colour like in rebels instead of just being dark grey
Yes exactly
I did find it super funny that Bendu's all "LOOK AT ALL THE ALIENS" yet it was just Hera and the same Mon Cal we saw last week.
The rest were humans and a protocol droid in that shot.
@@NalphaThey ARE partly purple. The lighting of the scene is grey.
I'm not the only one who see the looks in Hera's eyes, remembering Kanan through Jacen, This scene let me drop a tear 🥲
Yeah the haters just seem like they're hating for the sake of it
The people annoyed at sabine surviving the stabbing had 0 problem with Maul surviving being split in 2 and falling hundreds of feet 😂
Death is a concept invented by the Jedi. To cheat death is a power of the sith.
Just like the people who didn't have a problem with the strong female characters in the animated series but as soon as they are played by real women it's woke smhy
Qui gon also survived the rest of obi wan and mauls’ fight after being stabbed directly in the chest. So yeah Really not a stretch that Sabine could survive long enough to receive medical attention after being stabbed in the side.
Sadly, the technology to survive a lightsaber to the gut was invented mere minutes after Qui-Gon's death. A tragedy.
@@CoutureThugbecause those people didn't see cartoon series. Because they think, "ITs FoR KIdS"
The music that played when the Purrgil arrived brought me straight back to the ending of Rebels. Absolutely incredible scene
Kevin Kiner is the John William heir apparent to Star Wars music, and that is a beautifully becoming crowded field. Still want to hear Bear McCreary (Battlestar, AoS, God of war, Black Sails) do Star wars project, too.
There is a point when they are dodging the space whales and the music SOARS. I listen to it via headphones and can feel myself lifting off the ground. It's pure magic.
"Somehow, seeing the Purgill just makes it real, for me."
Yes, and I imagine that Sabine feels the same way. I bet it gives her some hope...
Sabine: "How can I fight if I can't see?"
Kanan's Force Ghost: "Was I a joke to you?!"
Sabine needs Chopper to fake lifting the cup for her, then run off with a laugh.
LMAO
To add to Qui-Gon. He didn't just have his spine severed but was also stabbed through the solar plexus. So he basically had his nervous system destroyed. Very different than Sabine.
Plus, people don't seem to understand that lots of time had passed between Qui-Gon being stabbed and Obi-Wan walking up to him.
It was LITERALLY too late. Not getting medical attention soon enough is what causes death often, not the type of wounds.
Motorcyclists have survived getting impaled all the way through by sharp poles being transported on the freeway. The 90's had LOTS of "worst injuries caught on tape, AND SURVIVED!" type shows.
@@YodatheHobbit
I don't know about lots of time passing. It seemed more like a minute or two at most. It just seemed a lot longer because it kept cutting to Padmé, Anakin, and Jar Jar.
@@Carabas72 even 5 minutes can make a big difference than instant medical attention which is basically what Sabine got. But the area she was stabbed was more why she survived as well.
Bro Ahsoka fighting in space like Plo-Kun did in Clone Wars and she took out a ship with her lightsabers was badass omg and I just love how that ship rotates during flight and the cockpit looking exactly like the Millennium Falcon’s
The best Star Wars reaction channel out here! 🙌🙌
Agreed!!!
Yup! Kyle and Blindwave are my go-to!
Totally agreed. And the most educational channel. Not to mention, the least toxic as well.
@@skywobi Yup, Kyle hardcore fans that is very knowledgable of the lore, and isn't toxic like many parts of the fandom! He's a rare breed
@@lespaul5734 Me too! Kyle and Wave Squadron (Blindwave) are absolute 100% mandatory viewing for me for Star Wars reactions. Head and shoulders above anybody else out there!
That day, Shin was amazed to discover that when Marrok was saying "As you wish," what he meant was, "I love you."
LOL this is perfect.
Next will be Jacen confronting Thrawn with: "My name is Jacen Syndulla; you killed my father, prepare to die!"
@@benschultz1784 with a "sword" his father made no less, that no one has seen its equal
Cant believe no one has pointed out that training blind is called Zatochi, which is one letter off from Zatoichi, the blind samurai
Yeah, i was like holy shit, i know what you are doing Filoni.
Sometimes some people really don't get that Star Wars is "samurai in space"
I like to imagine that Lucas would love this episode
The social media haters are being predictable but this show is awesome, their loss
100%
Couldn't agree more! I had a smile on my face basically the entire time, and I giggled like a baby when the purrgil showed up. Every episode has been great so far.
"the obi-wan show sucked", "No, it didn't." 'yeah, it did, you are a fake voter"
That's what happen when they don't watch TCW and Rebels, and they're only excuses is this "I dOn'T wAtCh ChiLdReN CaRtOoNs."😂
Some of them are so burned by past mistakes made by Disney Star Wars they cannot see the good moments at this point. So far this series has been a vast improvement over Mandalorian Season 3.
Best starwars reaction channel. So real and passionate. Keep it up dudes!
Aw thanks dude!
I like Ivanna Sakhno's portrayal of Shin Hati here because she feels more like an actual psychopath than the typical "goth bangs and hissing" type of thing that most people try to overly dramatize to appear as a psycho. I know that might seem like a weird compliment to make, but it makes her seem way more menacing as a villain.
This episode solidifed Filoni as the goat of live action. Sword fighting, starship chases, force lore, zero gravity fight scene and space creatures!!! This is all the amazing stuff i expect from a series calles star wars
Huyang is out here robbing Sabine of her self-esteem like Dumbledore taking away house points from anyone that isn't Gryffindor 😭
I recall Ezra having issues using the force himself during early training. It was only when he _needed_ it to save Zeb that he finally (and fairly spectacularly) sent Kallus flying. I have a feeling it's going to take a moment like that for Sabine. Not to save herself, but someone she cares about.
Yeah, before that moment Ezra had only ever subconsciously used the Force but hadn't tried to actively and consciously use it. There is also Empire Day where he had difficulty connecting to other beings through the Force was blocked due to his negative emotions.
He was able to do a force jump over kallus before that tho.
Let's not forget that, as pointed out by Sith, strong emotion is a quite potent source for Force powers. Sometimes you need a surge to break the dam holding you back.
@@unincognito3689 I feel the difference there is that he didn't so much _choose_ to do it as just do it. Using the force on purpose eluded him. The fact he _could_ force jump just like that is a combination of natural talent (something Sabine _does_ lack) as well as the fact it's animated so they exaggerate things a little.
@@unincognito3689 he also jumped about 20ft into the air while carrying a crate to get onto the Ghost in the first episode.
The fighter sequence felt very like a ww2 dogfight
That's what New Hope used in workprints.
@@BaronesaReturns it also closed to Belbullab-22, General grievous starfighter
@@zvimurI loved that detail. I love how much Filoni pays homage to Lucas' original inspirations.
For me these fighters looked like a little bit of an old F6F Hellcat, like the front of it and the pilots cabin
Yet they only attacked in a straight line when there in space a 3d environment. Oh and there guns didn't even damage the ship. Oh and flew close enough to get cut down by a light saber? That's called shit writing and no it might work in a animated form but not live action. These characters should have died several times already but the plot armor is strong.
12:48 One thing we learned about Kazuda's father in Star Wars Resistance was that he was a senator who thought the New Republic did no wrong and that the Resistance were traitors. He even blamed his son for the First Order targeting him.
A lot of people are complaining about Rosario Dawson's stiff and wooden portrayal of Ahsoka Tano, but if you ask me, Rosario's depiction of a rather stoic and aloof Ahsoka is part of her story and her journey, still dealing with her experiences during her life, from fighting in a war, to being falsely accused of bombing the Jedi Temple (perpetrated by someone whom she knew and considered as a friend), leading to her walking away from the Jedi order, subsequently having to adjust to a civilian life in the republic, barely surviving order 66, while loosing a lot of people and friends in the process, all the way to eventually finding out that your (former) master turned to the dark side, and became a sith-lord which she also ended up having to confront (while nearly getting killed by said sith-lord while doing so). All of those experiences have messed her up, to a certain degree, and she has been running from having to deal with those experiences for some time now. I think this will be her story arc going forward, leading to the version we saw her in rebels as Ahsoka the white.
I mean, she is one of the last surviving trained jedi, because she was trained by the guy who slaughtered all the jedi. She SHOULD carry that swagger.
@@nivekianI'm pretty sure real world psychiatrists could diagnose her with some form of PTSD and other related conditions
@@tadhggoreyoneill13666 She is smiling and bantering more with Sabine and Huyang now, that's nice, maybe she needed this to help settle herself. I have a feeling that since Baylan knew Anakin, that she will have to confront these feelings to be able to feel free.
It might just be because it's the standard mentor trope, they are always aloof and wise and calm.
I think they still expect her to be cute little "Snips" from Clone Wars.
Right, she’s also in at least her 40s. She’s middle aged, which just isn’t the same for most people as how they were when they were teenagers. I actually like the older more mature Ahsoka.
Bothans are actually on screen in every scene of Star Wars but are such good spies you don't notice them.
14:25 - Those of a certain age will remember that back when the Original Trilogy came out the generally understood belief was that, with training, anyone could learn to utilize the Force and become a Jedi. This really inspired kids. Then The Phantom Menace came out, and with it the canon introduction of midichlorians, causing a bit of an uproar in that original group of fans. Now no one could be Jedi without midichlorians. I'm thinking what we see here is Filoni rebalancing the Force. Ahsoka is taking a different path than Luke. Luke is recreating the Order's midichlorian-heavy training program. Ahsoka is taking an approach that greatly mirrors that original pre-midichlorian concept in Star Wars.
haha so funny that you reacted like me when Ahsoka just chilleaxed in space when Sabine thought she died. "THAT is Ahsoka" I felt immediately, clone wars/rebels vibes.
3 Episodes in Ahsoka has been more impressive than The Sequel Trilogy, Book of Boba Fett, Kenobi, Mando s3, & every D+ MCU series. In Dave Filoni I Trust! 😂
I never thought seeing Jacen Syndulla would make me cry when I thought about how much we need Kanan right now and seeing his son just made me so happy knowing his legacy would live on.
Purrgils looked amazing and the action was very creative in this episode,it's nice to see Ashoka and Sabine training together :)
This is a series with space travel, aliens, entire planets covered with cities miles high, flying cars, human like droids, holgrams, etc. I'm more than ok choosing not to die on the hill that a stab wound to the stomach is always lethal. We even saw Fennec have like all of her insides replaced.
And if I can add to this as well, it’s central linchpin, the thing that makes Star Wars - STAR WARS, are space wizards and space magic. I agree. It’s a silly hill to die on.
@@CurseTheCosmos Andor caused some of these issues, because people want Star Wars to be gritty and real like Andor, but Andor doesn't feel like Star Wars. Star Wars is magical and unbelievable, it's silly and crazy and cheesy and epic all at once.
This episode for the cements my idea of Ahsoka and the Jedi are basically Bladesinger Wizards, whereas Sabine is more of an Eldritch Knight Fighter. I mean in universe, Jedi have been called wizards and sorcerers.
For non-DND people, a bladesinger is a wizard who becomes proficient in swords and prefer light or no armor instead relaying on magic (just like jedi). Eldritch Knights are fighters who learn to tap into magic on a limited basis to augment their combat prowess and have been known to wear heavy armor.
Really loved the callbacks to Episode 4 in this one like the "Zatoichi" blind swordsman training and the tail gunner views during the battle. When they got within visual range of the hyperspace ring, it reminded me of the Millennium Falcon getting close enough to the Death Star to realize it was no moon.
I think what she was saying about Sabine using the Force is that everyone can use it, but people with a high midichlorian count has it on easy mode. People with a low count has to do crazy training. Might be why the Jedi won’t just take in anyone that wants to be one. Probably had her say this cause of what was said in Mando was used to hate on Rey.
Parody of Kyle and Bendu
Bendu:
"Today, we're diving deep into the topic of lightsabers and their lethality. You know, throughout the Star Wars saga, there have been some instances where characters like Reva and Shine were stabbed, not in the heart or spine, but more in the kidney or liver area. So, it raises the question: are lightsabers always an instant death sentence?"
Kyle:
"Fair point, Bendu."
Bendu:
"Exactly! We need to remember that these aren't your typical physical stab wounds we're talking about."
Kyle:
"True, true."
Bendu:
"Maul being cut in half and surviving does make you wonder about the realism of lightsabers as lethal weapons. I mean, they can melt through blast doors with ease and puncture things in the blink of an eye. Can you imagine the damage they'd do to internal organs? It's like having a boiling, cauterizing sword inside you."
Bendu:
"And after 40 years of new medical advancements, we still don't know if Palpatine's back as a male clone looking female is canon. It's a mystery worth exploring."
Kyle:
"Well, there might be alternative explanations for injuries."
Bendu:
"But here's the thing, if you can't have a constructive debate, what's the point? Why waste air discussing it?"
Bendu:
"And speaking of lightsabers, George Lucas's explanation of their travel doesn't necessarily equate to how they're portrayed now. They're being seen as non-lethal toys, and that's a perspective some fans aren't happy with."
Bendu:
"I can't help but wonder why people obsess over the idea that a well-placed lightsaber strike might not be fatal. After all, once you're stabbed by a lightsaber, it's a tough situation, no matter how close the 'med kit' is."
Bendu:
"Let's take a moment to reflect on everything Dave Filoni has touched in the Star Wars universe. It's quite the journey."
Bendu:
"So, folks, we've been at this for seven minutes now, and there's plenty more to explore. But, if you've had your fill, you can always come back later. As for me, I think I've had enough of these discussions after the 10:18 mark. Let's hope UA-cam doesn't recommend these videos to me again anytime soon."
lmao what
Who among us has never tried to move a glass with "the Force"?
Everyone watching the table rise: "Oooooh cooool"
Me watching: "That table was a floor a few seconds ago. Wipe it down before you set food & drink on it!"
I gotta say thank you so much for being the best star wars reaction videos by far keep up the great work!
When the (INSERT CREATURE HERE) showed up I was like "KYLE CALLED IT!"
Your Star Wars knowlege and passion is inspirational. Really enjoy your vids
They absolutely nailed the purgill. What a scene
Sabine survived because it was a stab to the side where there’s no vitals, and she got medical attention immediately. It’s weird even hearing that argument. Qui Gon had to wait for Obi to finish his fight, and it was to the chest.
@@ViewfromtheVoid Yes I understand that it would’ve went through clean, and that it cauterizes the wound immediately. I also understand that this isn’t modern western medicine, we’re talking sci-fi surgery that is thousands of years ahead of what our best doctors can do now. 🤷♂️
Had the same reaction to Jacen and the Purgill. I love your guy’s reactions and content. It’s rational, positive, and we’re all here because we just love Star Wars. I love it. Thank you for your channel. ♥️
I think it would be cool if in the next episode, Hera contacted Zebb and Carson Teva at the Adelphi base implying that there has not been a patrol in the sector that holds Planet Seatos in some time.
I enjoyed this episode tremendously. It was so short though... well under 30 minutes but not a minute was wasted. Good stuff.
Love your excitement, guys! And loved Bendu's take on the stab. They're also in a galactic civilisation with bacta, the miracle fluid that heals all wounds. It probably _should_ be very difficult to really put someone down
Thanks, Kyle! Thanks, Bendu! Thanks, Nerd Chronic! 🐋 As for the stab... like you both touched upon, I think it has all to do with the location of the wound combined with the speed and quality of medical attention applied. Naysayers will always find stuff to complain about. For me, the stab ain't an issue. And I love the green-tinted dark hair the makers decided on for 'Jacen'. Some of the scenes in this took me straight back to the thrill I had as a kid watching the 2003 clone wars as it came out every week. Pure childlike excitement for new quality content. There is nothing like this universe and this fandom. I feel like I know you guys personally just from the love we share for this universe. May the force be with you BOTH
KRIFF YES!!!!!
The space walk/distracting Shin and her fighters with her sabers out in space brings me so much clone wars vibes, and the training sequences with the shinai swords is kendo at its very best. Kyle and Bendu, plus Blind Wave are one of my go to channels for Star Wars content.
The episode was already growing on me, but I appreciate it even more just from this reaction! Good point about Hera thinking of Kanan.
in an episode filled with great moments i think my favorite beat hera and the senator. she went for the jugular and embarrassed him about not fighting in the war so he hit back about ezra. her reaction hit me in all the soft space. her general mask just fell away. she has never given up hope ezra is alive and will come home. i think i'm honestly looking forward to ezra and hera's reunion more than anything. he's her other son.
_"How can that dark side force user survive that wound?"_
Darth Sion has entered the chat
Just give Filoni the keys now. Absolutely loved this episode! ❤
Also, I can't understate how big a deal it os when Ahsoka spoke about Force Sensitivity, I don't think we've ever gotten such a primary-canon explanation of who is force sensitive and who is not (and I like where we're going with it: everyone *can* feel the force but very few are capable of training to hear it).
This show is so good so far. Love seeing Jacen finally and that was probably the best small scale space battle we had in Star Wars.
Maybe we gonna see every episode a new cameo from Rebels. In chapter 1, we had Azadi and the Sanator, in chapter 2 we had Chopper , in chapter 3 Jacen
The actress who plays Sabine knows martial arts as well
Loved your take on the lightsaber wounds. I was sharing out last week's episode saying see see - this is what i'm saying. 100% agree with you.
9:41 "You think that's eyes you're seeing with, Neo?"
People are still complaining about the pacing. Consider this. In a 31 minute episode we got
Hera blasting the senate and an introduction to how idiotic the new republic senate is (Passionate Hera)
An introduction to Jacen
A training sequence with Sabine that answered the question about force sensitivity and importance of training and discipline
An awesome space battle
Pergil
More details into the relationship between Shin and Morgan (or lack there of)
I'm sorry but the dialog was great, the action was intense, the emotion from the characters was amazing. I'm so happy with what we are seeing!
Did she just do a Rey force move on a moving fighter slicing its wing, except in space?!! Gaaawd damn Ahsoka!
Are those future Knights of Ren working with Balen???
Your insight is excellent, thank you for being fun and supportive of the show. Keep 'em comin'!
Another wonderful reaction, Kyle! Sorry we lost the Bendu, but we know he’ll be back. This was a phenomenal 3rd episode (and we know how they can often be filler, unnecessary or worse, go off course…but not this time!) I have every confidence that Dave is going to blow us away with his vision for the season. And thank you guys! My favorite, knowledgeable, and least judgmental of the Star Wars channels I’ve seen. 😊
Loved the training sessions also. I really do. For me that was also the best part of The Last Jedi and the Yoda cameo offcourse. I really like deepening of the Myrhological sides of Star Wars.
Oh my god.....seeing live action purrgil gets me something fierce. Hands down my favorite animal in Star wars, hoping we get more lore about them cause it does seem they are very important to this seasons storyline. Also I have questions about what Huyang said, was there more than just one Mandalorian Jedi?????
Thank you for a great reaction. You are the best. I always learn something new about Star Wars watching you two. ❤
I got the opposite feeling at the end! The long zoom in on Baylan with at the final couple seconds he glances downward and to the left, showing signs of... doubt? Worry? I don't think he **wants** to fight or kill Ahsoka
Exactly, they will join ahsoka
I theorize Baylan will join Ahsoka and Shin will kill him 😮
Shin's henchmen's fighters are just P-51 Mustang styled ships, which we know most SW ships are modeled after some sort of real life planes. They did a great job with these!
I love bendu “dude we were just talking about his… back.. arms”
Late but nonetheless, happy to see Jason Syndulla. Glad to know they didn't cast him to the realm of irrelevancy.
The Sabine stab also definitely felt like Shin was not aiming to kill. We heard Baylan say it’d be a shame to kill the jedi. maybe Shin shares the same sentiment
The thing about having a table and chairs rise up out of the floor is that there's gonna be a lot of dirt tracked across them. People are literally stepping on that shit.
Balon's armor just looks like blackened armor we've seen from Jedi serving during The Clone Wars and without the robes.
I had the same reaction when i saw the purgil. It was so surreal seeing them in live action
1:47 Why are (were?) people debating Reva's impalement? It was pretty clear that Vader wanted her to suffer and left her to die a slow and painful death, but her survival was teased with the Grand Inquisitor's own presence but also the secrets of his own survival, the need to take revenge, which has always been the cornerstone of the Dark Side of the Force.
Qui-Gon likely died because Maul delivered a fatal blow, but he also let go. Obi-Wan evaporated the moment Vader's lightsaber hit him because he too chose to let go. Yoda also evaporated because he let go, just as Luke did in The Last Jedi. True Jedi's let go and become one with the Force.
Sabine likely would have died if Ahsoka hadn't been there, but was Shin really trying to kill Sabine? I don't know about that. She was toying with her the entire fight. If she wanted to kill her, she would have. She had time to finish Sabine off, but she chose not to for whatever reason. Scratch that, she did it to instill fear in Sabine. Fear is the power of the Dark Side.
If you don't want to believe what I just said, go with the story. Call it plot armor or whatever you want, the story didn't call for her to die, so she didn't.
you know so much about the universe am always impress with your observation, they should include you in an episode
Awesome reactions, loved the episode as much as I enjoyed seeing you guys loving it!
Filoni is crushing it
"Shin was later shocked to discover that when Marrok said 'as you wish' what he really meant was 'I love you.'"
I love how shin's ship looks rusted, and the glass over the cockpit looks all dirty, it shows the decay after the empire was taken down
Bbendu needs to fi his internet asap
Loving Ahsoka and the anticipation of the entrance of Thrawn and Ezra!
while i agree about sabine likely being rusty, don't forget though that she mentions that ahsoka got rid of her presets. So she likely had those guns fine tuned for optimal effectiveness which ahsoka just deleted. so she didn't have the the software help she might normally have had.
9:30 the moment she gave Sabine the helmet I quoted: "This time, let go of your conscious self, and act on instinct."
I'm really enjoying how much time they're taking with dialogue and action. They're not rushing anything.
Anakin was burnt alive with magna and they had no problem
Did you notice that Jacen has his did shoulder piece on
The Dark Jedi fighters were very reminincent of P47 Thunderbolts from the front & P80 Shooting Stars from the back.
Who here has NOT tried to move a cup with the Force? Anyone?
Anyone?
I was very emotional when the Purrgil came out...😢 Seeing your reaction almost got me emotional again...this episode was very much Rebels-esque. Just...Chef's kiss.
sabine lived because ahsoka was close so she was wounded instead to buy time to escape, so shin used ahsoka's caring nature to escape if shin killed sabine then ahsoka would have just chased shin and then put sabine to rest.
The uniforms that Baylan's men were wearing at the end are the same as the ones the soldiers wore in "The Jedi", the Mandalorian episode where Ahsoka fights Elsbeth. So they're probably just Elsbeth's PMC, or something similar. Also, super happy for you that the Purgill moment hit so hard; I love it when those transitions/adaptations work just as well when they shift mediums. Cheers!
I am of the opinion that the mindset of the person stabbed by a lightsaber has a huge role in the survivability, as well as the location of the wound.
I think that Qui Gon, being a follower of the lightside of the Force was at peace and did not regret becoming one with the Force. Sabine may not believe she could live on in the Force, and she definitely has the desire to live so she can fulfill her mission of finding Ezra.
Again this is just my opinion, and it makes sense to me.
That table mechanism in the T-6 is so cool. But tbh, it's kinda nasty that they eat on the same surface that they walk all over lol
The training without seeing had me thinking of Kanan after Maul blinded him. He used the force to instead of his lost sight.
I think they are going to use a Purgill in the center of that ring. As a living navigation device.
Oooh! Good interesting theory. I like the idea of that. It would certainly showcase their evil to enslave one of them and force one to hyperspace jump in a torturous way, but if they used Purgil like that there would honestly be no point in collecting those 6 hyperdrives.
@@YodatheHobbit Maybe the Purgill won't be flying itself, but come along as an unwilling passenger.
Or the engines are to ensure that the Ring won't break, if the Purgill flies them there. Or as a contingency in case they can't use a Purgill on their way back.
Or I may just be totally wrong. It is just my ideas/thoughts on it.
Thought about Ahsoka’s stoicism. I think this began as during the witch hunt that was her sham of a trial. She lost something with all the Jedi turning on her and her what could be called her best friend setting her up. She was alone. Truly alone. And. I think she’s still alone. Inside.
Sabine's actress is trained in a few martial arts Kendo included.
Great to find that out! I thought she looked almost too good at doing that, like she either must've trained for months to be able to learn and have such excellent form and speed, or they found a REALLY INSANELY CLOSE body double stunt performer. With her arms so exposed, trying to match her actress with a body double trained in fighting with that outfit I imagine would be practically impossible. Her arm muscles were very visible.
Liked it direct, Kyle. The first two I had to see them twice. You guys I like most in the reaction circuit to SW. You guys just love Star Wars.
Shin's starfighter squad is giving me P-51 Mustang vibes.
Yo, if that hyperspace ring docks with the Chimera and it links in where the indents are halfway up the side of the ISD's hull I'll be impressed lol.
Something that people can miss about people getting wounded versus them being killed, is that a wounded person needs help in order to keep on living, which can take one or more other people out of the fight. A dead person can be dealt with after the fighting is over.
Ahsoka is in her 40’s. She watched everyone she knew and loved leave or die. She’s survived multiple wars, the Jedi purge , the clone wars, the empire. She’s gonna be a little standoffish and stoic for sure.
Sabine getting stabbed and surviving makes perfect sense given the lore. That's it.
