i want to thank you for leaving the mistakes/pauses in your vids and not hacking / splicing them. just feels so much more natural, like having a regular human listening experience.
Awesome video! I've got a trusty F100, purchased on a holiday to Japan, been amazed at what they can do. You've got some amazing shots with yours, good inspiration.
Useful video! Comparing the cost of the housings to the current price of those old Nikon cameras, it's clear that the film cameras themselves can still be relative bargains. Of course the other way to look at it is the pain of having to purchase a housing that costs three times as much as your camera!
I've been looking for one of these in a nice condition for a while on eBay but ended up getting Canon Eos3 in mint condition for same amount of money. I'm very happy with my purchase.
I have the F100 and can attest to the fact that all of the modern Tamron G2 series lenses will work in fully automatic mode on the F100. And as you mentioned, the D series lenses work well too because they were designed for the F100, F5 & F6 bodies.
Hey mate did you ever have any dramas with your Meikon housing? I got one for my xt20 and have only been out with it once so far but i'm still pretty happy. Stoked to see your videos again 🤙
Hello Coops 👍. I been using my canon eos 500n with a Dicapac bag/housing and it's a lot of fun. Do you use the autofocus in the water? I'm asking because most of the time my aperture are always f8 to f16 and my subjects are at least 9 feets a way. Basically everything is in focus. Cheers mate and good waves and great shoots 👍
Really missed your surf/analog videos mate. Happy to see you back here on yt. I just bought a Nikonos 4 which I was lucky to find for cheap from a former diver. Any advice with those?
I just bought the EOS 1N and it sounds pretty much like for like with this F100 5 af points and 1/8000 shutter. I already had a canon 70-300 and the 135 canon lens is pretty cheap. I also have the Nikon F4 but it’s extremely heavy.
Glad to see you back! I actually just recently saw your older video about the epson printer and was thinking about getting one. Is that still something you use? I love the prints behind you!

Thanks mate, appreciate that

Great to see you posting again mate! Been looking at picking up an F100 and you might have sold me

Thanks mate, just keep it clean, keep dirt/sand/grime out of the Seals and only use a small amount of grease on them
Is that a new office/set? 😎🤙
New house, new studio 👍
@@shootswithcoops - Right on, man. Looks awesome! So happy for you and your family.
Love your videos, man! Have found by the accident

If you’re already got the canon lenses. Then good idea sticking with brand
@@shootswithcoops I kinda went the canon coz it was near mint for $300 dollarydoos lol - would love to see a video from you on box speed
I’m here for the f100 gush, but what did you shoot this video on? The af is fantastic.
i just got a Nikonos, so licking the lens before shooting in the water is a thing to avoid water drops ?
Yep, lick or spit, dunk it just before your about to take your shot, legit
Hey Coops, do you shoot Trigg much, or mostly Scarbs?
The whole coast man, depends where the banks are
Glad to see you back! I actually just recently saw your older video about the epson printer and was thinking about getting one. Is that still something you use? I love the prints behind you!
Yep, still got that.
