I have found a great appreciation for all of the work you put into your channel and I just wanted to say thank you very much for creating!

Anyway, now got my hands on a Nikonos V and will try to get some shots in smaller surf and give it a good crack. Can't wait to get into the water with it. Hi. Couple of questions. Can you advance the film underwater with the Nik V, or should I take it above water to advance? All I have is 100 speed film. What is the sunny 16 rule underwater? Do I open up 2 stops? Is there a rule like one stop light loss every X amount of feet in water?

im a pro surf photographer from so cal , i use sea frogs salt version its cheap alternative " meikon " also i have spl and aqua tech housings , but i totally recomend the sea frogs housings or meikon you just have more options and it more cost effective , ive been shooting for many years and tested many products rccsurfphotographs on instagram, by the way the video is great and he is sharing great info
Hi Coops, excellent explanation, just missing the tip of when the wave breaks on top of the photographer, grab the camera close to the belly to not bring her in the face, in the middle of the shake. Hug from Portugal.

I have two questions, hope you can help me out: How big have you went out with the Nikonos, is there a limit? And finally, i´m a little bit (or a big bit!) concerned about the original strap not holding up in bigger surf than one meter, i don´t want to wipe out and lose the camera, any strap/leash reccommendations? Does the dome port distort the image at all outside of the water? Im looking at getting one for my 16-35mm lens but want to use it above and below water (scuba and surf). Any help greatly appreciated!
Mike Wahl outside the water there no to minimal distortion. Well I haven’t noted any. Jump on my Instagram, any surfing pics in the water were taken with it. You can see for yourself
I went over to look for that housing and found it but it's a little confusing. Can you please give me the exact model you got what it's called and with fish eye cover . With the hand grip also thank you for your help .

Kristian Carreon I would say easier with fins, you don’t want anything to get in the way when your trying to shoot surfers
