- Blarrel is a documentary film on San Diego-based Surf Photographer Blair Austin. Originally from San Francisco, Blair took on photography at a young age. He then moved to Durban, South Africa where he first learned his deeper passion for surf photography. Eventually Blair's story took him to San Diego where he now has become one of the best and most popular photographers in the area.

Blair, what are the earplugs you are using. Are they headphones or for blocking water or both? Thank you for your inspiration ...
Hey! They are Surfears. I swear by them. No more ear infections. They are just regular earplugs, but they have great design for blocking water and allowing sound to still travel to the ear canals. The cords are just tethers so that they don't get lost in the water. People often say it looks like music headphones.
