I recently saw my first HP4 which rolled in with the similar bikes you were with. It was two brothers I believe, one of a HP4, one on a 1199 Panigale R and the father on a dual sport if I remember correctly. I was drooling when I saw the two together, it was like they were born to be next to each other. Each one compliments the other in brilliant ways
Totally agree re: cruise control. Anything that helps you conserve your mental energy while enroute to the fun roads :-) has got to be a good thing. I had an '08 K1200GT for a while, put 81000km on it through Tasmania, Victoria, NSW, ACT and Queensland... Would never have ridden it that much without cruise. Now I just have a very, very silly, impractical bike (KTM 990 SMR) and as a result I don't ride much anymore. Planning to fix that. Enjoyed your video, thanks!
Performance will always get better, but I'm pretty amazed how far electronics are coming lately. The way that cruise control disables is pretty awesome. Would be awesome to have *****, but I was kinda more seeing you on the S1000R
DonTHEhandsome1 Sure, the thought cross my mind but I just don't think he is that douchy. He clearly has money, its not like he's hurting for it. Unfortunate things do befall people. I am indeed playing around. If I actually truly believed that's the kinda guy he was, I wouldn't even watch his videos.
Out of all the gadgets and electronics mentioned, I like cruise cruise control the most. Great bike and love the selfie stick action, I'm almost tempted to get one... almost.
Thanks for the Ride Tom awesome camera angles!!! Always love the Great Ocean Road. I think I may have to park my Ducati in a museum and get the new 1299 haha
nice editing of the run-wide on that left hander. seriously, if the cruise control is your favorite thing about this bike, you need something else I think.
***** Really? Just need to go at the right time I guess. I took an R1 back from Melbourne to Adelaide along there and didn't see a single speed camera or cop. Was fucking glorious. Especially the roads above Apollo Bay... Best days riding of my life.
Jenkins Bradbury Yeah, I suppose it's all right. But I never get it at the right time. It's just like the Black Spur. Great roads that you can't have fun on due to heavy enforcement, low speed limits and lots of traffic. And those "Drive on left in Australia" signs on the Great Ocean Road don't inspire much confidence in the oncoming traffic. Then again, I am rather spoiled with the selection of roads I have locally.
Decided to Ride That's a good one. Then there's the Eildon - Jameson road. Murray River road, Granya Gap, Alpine Way, Snowy Mountains Highway, Elliot way, That road that goes through Cabrumurra, Tawonga Gap, Happy Valley, Bogong high plains, Omeo highway, Redbank road, and lockharts gap. Just to name a few I do on a regular basis. Then there's the legendary Bonang Highway. 105 ks of non stop twisties.
10:37 is where I nearly came off last time I went down the coast. Gravel was all over the road on that corner and i was going in relatively hot. Definitely got the sphincter goin.
Thats my local haunt on the Tiller, if you go that way again get in contact I'm in Point Cook and I'll rally some mates up. Also take the route from Sketons creek through Forest. Little to no traffic and super fast sweeping roads. Also great review and be careful going over the solid white lines can cause sudden death with tourists doing it all the time watching the ocean I'm assuming or can't drive around corners. Unmarked police planes check your speed from point to point from Anglsea.
awesome review again tom. love to see the bike from different angles and video taking is really awesome i enjoyed it a lot some thing new to see from you. happy riding Tom.
I finally had a small test of this bike from the dealer; 2015 BMW S1000RR. It's AMAAAAZING. This is currently my favorite literbike (sportbike). I'm doing an extended test this weekend! Love the white with blue! Fantastic review Tom! That selfie-stick looks like a pain in the bum to operate but it brings us some great angles. They need some kind of swiveling backpack thing that goes around you...maybe controllable with a remote or something. ;) Great views with the sunset and all. I liked your attempt at an Italian accent hahaha. I love your gloves too...impossible to find those with the white knuckles like that here. Lemme know if ya find some in XS and I'll pay ya for 'em.
That looks Epic! I want to buy a second bike in January 2016, but for now im stuck with my 2007 GSXR 1000 ;) this bike will most definitely be on the list of bikes to try, don't want a repeat of what i pulled earlier this year, that being i got hit by a car and i had no bike to ride and therefore no footage to upload for a while :P
Hey Tom got my first bike today, thanks for all the motivation :) if it was not for your videos and seeing how much fun road bikes looked i would not have been nearly as interested. Keep on making videos.....#DROPAGEARANDDISAPEAR
I don't know why, but to me this thing seems to have so much more spirit and personality than the new 2020 one.. don't know anything about the specs tho so I might be wrong.. but the design, dash and everything about it seems just fucking different to any other supersport and sooo much more attractive.. I wish I'd have a chance to get my hands on this particular model one day❤️
I saw a post on facebook saying that Tom Cruise actually owns one of those new BMW bikes..idk just popped in my head when I was watching this.My MSF instructor has one & she could ride that thing like nobody's business!
Dude...when you do a riding review of the sweetest BMW lately from the FathaLand...you should start the video taking off from a stop and riding thru the gears, so viewers can both "SEE & HEAR" the motorcycle ?? How hard is that, yank, you can talk after you stop. People want to hear the machine in its glory !!
I got to ride around SMSP as part of the BMW launch. First half lap I hated it. Tried the quick shifter up, liked it. Tried the quick shifter down and couldn't stop laughing, was so much fun. At 271km i said that's fast enough for me..Amazing bike but at @ $27kaud, will just stick to my Monster.
12:27 time...(the otherwise time known as OH MY GOD MY HEAD VISION). As someone who is drunk after a full nights drinking....UUUUUGH!!! Fair point on all this though is that I'm one of the terrible people who watches this while still being afraid of a 300; so I love the video, and I hope to one day get to your level of appreciation! Otherwise, great video!
You have to go to McDonalds. BTW, make sure you put the reservoir sock on, you will probably make it under 8 seconds in the drags with the additional horse power.
Love your new S1000RR Tom but you know you don't want any part of 650ib's new H2 mate! That thing is mental (check out his channel if you haven't already). S1000RR is a better all around track bike though, no question.
2015 BMW s1krr...Simpsons Did it !!! lol Congrats on the replacement, & is that everyone's b/s excuse when they're late to a meeting in Aus...?... I was stopped @ a DUI Checkpoint, lol...would drive me crazy, until I got used to it, I guess. I'm biased, tho, that 1199 looks sooo much sexier, and the 1299 is catching up with the 'comfort' gadgets. ;) ~for some gorgeous Ducati's & Ride to a Concours Car Show in Arizona...I'll post my latest upload...below, RSMF
I was going to go to bed. Now I have to stay awake for another 20 minutes... Thanks! ;D
+Murtanio I am your new subscriber! You are good rider IMO!

sick vespa Cbr1000RR tom!
timothy williams is it the superleggera model or the touring enduro ?
i don't know i think its a honda veneno 125 2t
timothy williams Yamaha Zip Zentorno 800e ZX69-RR Touring R ABS SM ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Always a warm feeling when I get the notification that you posted a new video!
I normally hate watching things like this but you make more enjoyable to watch
that stock exhaust sounds amazing
Totally agree re: cruise control. Anything that helps you conserve your mental energy while enroute to the fun roads :-) has got to be a good thing. Enjoyed your video, thanks!
I'm starting to like the poked in the eye look of the s1000rr. It's a rad bike.
I don't even like motorbikes but i sat and watch your whole review. Awesome
RidingWithTom Interesting you had to get bar ends for your last s1000rr. I wouldnt think the vibration would be that bad.
Another video of tom on the rr is always exciting
I always get super excited when I see a RWT video in my sub box.
Performance will always get better, but I'm pretty amazed how far electronics are coming lately. The way that cruise control disables is pretty awesome. Would be awesome to have *****, but I was kinda more seeing you on the S1000R
I wonder when Tom will plan for this bike to be stolen so he can upgrade again!!! Wonder what he'll get next!
sexyitalian891 BTW Tom, just playing, love your videos man.
You're not playing. We all are thinking the same thing. I just wonder how dumb insurance companies keep insuring him.
Am doing a school project on this and was looking for reviews and stuff then good ol Tom uploads haha thanks for the help man xD
Motofrogger :'( it's nice to see him enjoying himself
Out of all the gadgets and electronics mentioned, I like cruise cruise control the most. Great bike and love the selfie stick action, I'm almost tempted to get one... almost.
I maybe seriously considering one of these now.
***** do it ! i saw yours all banged up :(
***** Do eet! I upgraded from my Ninja 1000 a few days ago and I have absolutely no regrets!
RidingWithTom thanks man yeah it would be exciting. But may also be looking at the k1300
***** Do it, it's rated the 3 - possibly the 4th best possible bike of 2015.
I'll be buying one eventually!
Thanks for the Ride Tom awesome camera angles!!! Always love the Great Ocean Road.
I think I may have to park my Ducati in a museum and get the new 1299 haha
Or get a real bike, s1000rr I might suggest!
4K is so clear. I would love to take one of those for a test ride one of these days.
i love this bike ,want to buy it ,unfortunately no service in my city, had a hayabusa just sold it,loved this video, keep on the good and fun work
Nice man, lovely bike and lovely roads what could of gone wrong?
I remember when you were reviewing your Ninja 250. Moving on up!!
being able to see the bike from different angles like that with the selfie stick is really awesome!
Is Moto Frogger a Gecko or a Frog?
Looks like a tree frog to me!
RidingWithTom not everyone has an eye for picking the differences between amphibious breeds :P
nice editing of the run-wide on that left hander.
seriously, if the cruise control is your favorite thing about this bike, you need something else I think.
The Great Ocean Road is very scenic. But it's shit for riding. Low speed limit, lots of cops, and lots of tourist traffic.
***** Really? Just need to go at the right time I guess. I took an R1 back from Melbourne to Adelaide along there and didn't see a single speed camera or cop. Was fucking glorious. Especially the roads above Apollo Bay... Best days riding of my life.

***** Same here. Where i am all the cops patrol the main roads so i have free reign of all the windy back roads.
***** Mansfield to Whitfield through the King valley... mmmmm mmmm.
Then there's the legendary Bonang Highway. 105 ks of non stop twisties.
Was there on Sunday just gone... Great stretch of road and a great bike!
What a nice place to review. The gorgeous great Ocean road
Amazing bike man..
10:37 is where I nearly came off last time I went down the coast. Gravel was all over the road on that corner and i was going in relatively hot. Definitely got the sphincter goin.
i do not like any bmw bike and cars but this video is absolutley epic, really great footages

Holy shit mate ! We've missed you man I've been going on UA-cam everyday every hour just to see if you posted a video. Love your videos !
I finally had a small test of this bike from the dealer; 2015 BMW S1000RR. It's AMAAAAZING. This is currently my favorite literbike (sportbike). I'm doing an extended test this weekend! Love the white with blue!

Lmao those knee sliders are completely untouched
jerichom11x So what? What's your point?
Yeah no body positioning, which is what the bike is designed for, track or road
asdf898 Its just funny. You seem angry?
NickLiang Dude ease up with the troll
awsome review vlog . LOL the wide shot 80s car doco styles Bg music cracked me up . Good job sir.
Nice vid Tom,
would really like to see you doing videos on the drag strip again.
Keep it up man.
Awesome video sir!! loved all the camera angles. Can't wait for more of that beautiful bike!! RSM8!
Dude you are an insanely good rider
So many cool features, amazing technology, watched a guy drag race one, nice.
man i like your accent and your comments and videos man keep it up!
Safety first man! Stick the cam to ur bike or something than holding that stick out.. as usual great video and we would love to see more for longer..
Congrats on your new S1000RR! Now get a freaking lock or chain for it so it doesn't walk away too!
That is my dream bike for sure
i like the way a toyota auris got in the way of an amazing shot!
Great review on great roads! Well done.
S1000RR Is such a beauty!
Hey Tom got my first bike today, thanks for all the motivation :) if it was not for your videos and seeing how much fun road bikes looked i would not have been nearly as interested. Keep on making videos.....#DROPAGEARANDDISAPEAR
Stoked for the drag video!
Selfie stick views was ace mate!!!
You look pretty badass on that bike :D BMW S1000RR is my dream bike!

It wasn't a bike I liked when it first came out, but now........I NEED ONE lol
Tom i love your videos man! Keep it up !! My only request is more awesomee vlogs it's great!
Love to see you review more bikes!
I saw a post on facebook saying that Tom Cruise actually owns one of those new BMW bikes..idk just popped in my head when I was watching this.My MSF instructor has one & she could ride that thing like nobody's business!
I wonder if Tom ever comes back and watches this video and just breaks down. Because I do.
Australia looks beautiful, I'm over here stuck in Iowa. :'(
Tom what camera's were you using in this? looked really good man, keep up the good work
Those twisty's must be a lot of fun to ride on, sadly i live in the flat Netherlands....
overshot the turn at 13:35? :d
Hmmm I think I prefer the new Yamaha R1. The boost in technology, the dash, and overall looks are fantastic. The performance is wonderful too.
Awesome video. You should mount a GoPro near your foot so you don't need to use the selfie stick!
About time! I was jonesing! Cheers from Los Angeles.
A bloke up here in the NT did a 9.6 on his 2013 S1000RR and it only had a full exhaust system
That 1199 should be in a museum lol
What a beautiful bike man!
I'll be waiting for the maccas drive through video
Great review, thanks !
Sadly a bike like this wouldt cost arround 55k AUD.here in Denmark, yeah we have crazy taxes
If you think this has midrange wait till you ride the new r1. My nephew bought the bmw and I bought the r1. R1= road/ track bike, bmw=road bike.
Dude I love your videos, your awesome!
Grate vid mate. Looked like a fun day.
Mad one hand riding skills!
Dream bike
12:27 time...(the otherwise time known as OH MY GOD MY HEAD VISION).

MT09 is no where to be seen :O. Anyway, just love the sound of exhaust.
Very nice review! beautiful road... well done and.... compliments for the bike ;)
Tom said fuck it, ill ride while fucking with my go pro on a stick lol
Time for an aftermarket exhaust!
Before I watch the vid I got to say UR BACK YESSS :)
Best video you have ever done !!!!!!
Good Review and Good Road
I did a 9.7 on my old ZX12R. Never knew this bike had trouble with that. ??
Beautiful video mate!
Loved the review, Tom! Thanks for making it. Does it have some sort of internal steering stabilizer?
Yeah it's under the speedo clocks
RidingWithTom please can you do another mcdonalds drive thru with this new bike as i think it is a very important feature of bikes! :)
man, I really want one of these.
You have to go to McDonalds. BTW, make sure you put the reservoir sock on, you will probably make it under 8 seconds in the drags with the additional horse power.
I would actually love it if BMW made a 600 version!
Love your new S1000RR Tom but you know you don't want any part of 650ib's new H2 mate! That thing is mental (check out his channel if you haven't already). S1000RR is a better all around track bike though, no question.
Haha didn't his bike get beaten by a 15 s1000rr?
RidingWithTom In your dreams
put a ACRAPOVIC custom exhaust on ur bike would sound amazing
2015 BMW s1krr...Simpsons Did it !!!
lol
Congrats on the replacement, &
is that everyone's b/s excuse when they're late to a meeting in Aus...?...
I was stopped @ a DUI Checkpoint, lol...would drive me crazy, until I got used to it, I guess.
I'm biased, tho, that 1199 looks sooo much sexier, and the 1299 is catching up with the 'comfort' gadgets.
;)
