I got a 2018 CBR1000RR because of your comments about the bike and you were right on point. The bike is gorgeous and reliable. The Suzuki headlight is ugly and the looks are important as well
People are not comprehending, a gigantic ugly muffler is better than a small and sleek muffler with a cat in front of it, the GSXR has the cat in the muffler, so You'd be getting rid of both by just getting a slip on. Unless I'm mistaken and the cat isn't in the can.
Yeah I was actually saying at least the gixxer hasn't got a big ugly cat converter like the one on the BMW. I own a 2015 GSX-R 750 the cats hidden well.
OMG! Do Honda know what they have missed out on? They've always been homophobic and TBH, you're better off without them. You should rename your channel '44 PRIDE', Be proud of who you are, just coz you like 'slip-on pipes', doesn't make you bad people, right! Ride safe boyzz....(wear a condom!)
It may not be Jerez but if you lads ever want a guided tour of Wales finest roads please give me a shout davidmorgan040185@hotmail.com we have some great routes 😉
Amazing riding, editing, camera work and (gosh darnit) everything else! You guys let me know when you visit the States, I've got bikes for you to jizz on...okay, maybe not but you can ride them.
Unbiased? He just didnt have the balls to say that the Suzuki was cheap tat for 16K. Pair of dick heads still wanking over the K5, K5, K5, K5..........ZZZZZzzzzzzzzz.....
Stock Gixxer still makes 9.99 s in 1/4 mile, it is under 10 seconds, faster than stock S1K, for a stock bike this performance is amazing, if the ECU unlocked and that ugly muffler got removed, the gixxer can be a new benchmark, replacing the beemer hehe
21:36 Funny, my experience is exactly the opposite: here in Portugal BMW dealerships are snotty as fuck, don't really care about the customer and once reliability bites you in the ass (as it always does with a BMW) you're in for a lot of pain. My experience with Suzuki and Kawasaki has been amazing - very competent and fast service.
Love that these videos are just like 2 friends chatting about bikes with a ton of info thrown in casually, and yet still have a great professional quality. Nice job.
been looking forward to this for what seems like ages, didn't disappoint. another brilliant video, keep it up guys you are way ahead of the competition .
This is why 44teeth is the best, big long set pieces, relatable people, and no magazines to sell to you get the full, story. I'd like to see you do something about living with an older bike. Amazing work as always though
Top work gentlemen.Great entertainment and 1.53 is fair shifting at Jerez. Can't wait for my visit later this year. Like Doningyon Park plus 20%(no melbourne loop equivalent) and sunnier. The last sequence of 4 rights, with a deep breath everytime for the 4th of them is as good as it gets
6:30 it's impressive, you can clearly distinguished the two way of looking where you gop, iut's nearly like robotic gesture, very precise, one look the apex and second, the exit, very much learning there !
Nice video gents and entirely agree about BMW service/ownership experience being of value and worth factoring in. I've not ridden the Suzuki yet so take your word on the thrills/performance front, but what let's it down for me is the looks - it aint an R1 or a Panigale is it? ....I know it shouldn't be about looks but you buy bikes with your heart and to me looks (like noise) is a big part of that.....thanks for posting, all the best - TMF
i have no hate on gsxr bro. i respect all superbikes. you can't go wrong either way. but I just don't like the way people hype gsxrs and diss other superbikes. when you compare them even from the past decades, gsxrs haven't changed at all except the 2017 model which puts it exactly with the current bikes range. a long time coming but better late than never.
this channel should have way more subscribers. it needs promoting more! I stumbled across it yesterday totes by accident and now I'm working my way thru all the videos!
I haven't but it just doesn't appeal, ridden the new blade but I prefer the BMW as an ownership prospect for all the cruise control and heated grips etc as well as the dynamics
ohnedBkiller I ride the blade on Saturday and it's a right wheelie king 2nd gear w8de throttle and she just picks tge front wheel up and feels strong no flat spots or does it feel held back . the brakes are sharp . the suzuki feels like it's holding back to me low end and won't lift the front wheel up on its own power unlike the honda if you just feather the throttle it pulls up lol . but if you want a fun adrenaline food build quality bike buy the honda . but it's not as fast as the suzuki and I found it hard to accelerate as it pulls realy hard where the gsxr is liner so you don't feel as if your being ripe off the bike
Joe Yha i must say I enjoyed the honda more but the suzuki was on level 7 tc so it may have been the reason why it felt boring lol . but i'm torn between the honda and suzuki. I gues I'll buy both lol
Good review. Would be interesting to have a throttle cam to see throttle position during the lap. Not sure if you keep traction control on but many track dayers do and it's interesting to see where people get on/off the gas using modern technology
Echo what’s been said, great review guys, watched a lot of the others too, some of the best. I’m riding a 2018 version, simply superb bike, love it. My only criticism is that they did not make the exhaust half the size again and put ALL the cat into it lol. One thing I like to do with my bikes is the add ons, exhaust etc. Seen the arrow pipe video, brilliant, looks nice. I’m torn between two, the arrow or the Austin racing one, these sound and look superb 😎
I really preferred last year's review with the long road trip mixed in. Things like that 80-100 mile tank range on the R1 are much more critical than a few tenths here or there on the track for a rider like myself who will probably do a track day or two a year along with a few thousand road miles. That said, I still love your channel, keep up the good work!
The bike´s geometry seems is not actually meant to suit the forks - or are the BFF fork body-s too big. an Inch trough the triple without any visible level markings? + everybody would like to hear/see dyno nr without that can - what can the bike really do with an acra or yoshi endpipe.
Absolutely agree all things motorised are deeply personal choices for those that are enthusiasts, I wouldn't buy either partially for that reason but I have to applaud Suzuki for including VVT in a full on sports bike for the first time.
The review I have been waiting for...fab. Just one small tiny point...for a 16K bike I don't really want it to have a blipper that is so, so and slightly ifi fueling mid corner. I have no doubt it's the muts nuts and like you say, feels like it betters the S1000rr, but for that sort of money, in this day and age of uber electronic magic it should probably be spot on....just a small point.
The other good thing about the Suzuki is that when you've finished riding it for the day, there's plenty of room to park it inside it's own massive exaust ;)
Geez mate thats a bit of stereo type I like the gsxr as the handle bars sit a bit higher than other superbikes so its more comfortable. I think you get hooligans on every bike.
We're you using B mode? Tried A mode and it felt suicidal...like the fueling would abruptly cut with harsh engine braking as letting go of the throttle before leaning over.
I'd love to see a video about the 'Service' experience of owning these bikes. What manufacturer gives the new bike purchaser the best value experience from purchase-to-sale?
Crazy to think that in 2017, the GSX-R 1000 R basically beat the S 1000 RR, and now in 2020, the Suzuki wasn't even good enough to be even allowed to participate in the 2020 superbike shootout...
great review guys loved the Susuki when I rode it. Shame the overpriced boring blade wasn't there would have liked to have seen what you thought as I wasn't keen on the road
Best channel I've found in a long time! It is like having my friends reviewing bikes. Really fun, unbiased and down to earth reviews! Amazing work guys! Keep it up! Subscribed! The only bad thing is that it makes me want to buy more bikes.. : P
Top video guys...again! Funny, informative and polished. Very much agree with the comment about that premium service from beemer dealers - they really are tuned into the bike buying public. When you do another of these videos from a track, can we have a full lap view please? I know doing a full lap commentary is a bit like Steve Parrish did back in the day, but Jerez looked mega and it would've been good to see it all. Loved it all though...great.
I am wondering what the difference is in terms of cost. I guess the BMW will also be long living if maintained properly. But how much more do you actually have to pay to let a dealer do that? Any experience?
Nice video, guys! Thank you! I've test ridden Fireblade SP, GSXR1000 (stock with BPF and no QS) and S1000RR (whole 9 yards including forged wheels) on the same day. I took them all on local hill hairpins. Did not gell with SP, too polished for me and too nervous on the front. Too much free play in throttle handle and in brake lever (I rode it right after my stock 954RR). I was understeering on BMW (I was understeering on S1000R last year as well), it's strong, fast and comfy, but somehow not thrilling. Was warming up my right foot and I do not like pre-programmed pops from the exhaust. Also, that open exhaust collector is a step back in design compared to 2015-2016 model. I felt right at home on GSXR1000. So easy to ride. Sound very nice, better than BMW or SP. Has a bit of vibration from the engine, but it felt nice, while SP was smooth as a seal. For me GSXR also felt the most comfortable. It's just the right riding experience for me, even in stock shape, though it desperately needs the QS. Can't wait to test ride the R version!
The pre-programmed pops from the exhaust are actually for euro4. So what happens is when the bike is off throttle the exhaust mixture still has fuel in it. So there's a small igniter which explodes this inside the exhaust to burn off any remaining fuel - therefore making the exhaust gas cleaner. Don't wanna be a wise-ass but just a little fact for you 🤙
Great opening. Where do you get those track snacks? Although it seems you're a little biased to the Suzuki, I am as well. As soon as the R1000R gets to my local dealer, I'm riding mine home.
If BM make watered down HP4 race road version it ain't going to be cheap given the track version costs £68k and its got acres of super hot carbon!! Great vid as always guys!
good to see suzuki back on it. pitty the seat units from the 80's tho and the gap between the headlight and mudguard is to big, great content top work !!
Fantastic video! the oe exhausts are always removed. I'd personally go for the bmw or R1. what about a video of the new blade and suzuki and bmw or all the 1000ccErrrs?
hit it in the head ... one question though, on the new gixer i dont see any cat, so if you get a slipon is that it? Is the cat inside of the can on the factory donger on the gixxer???
So being quite a tall chap BvG, which bike is more suited to the long leg life? The BMW always felt comfortable (for a Supersport)... How does the GSX-R compare?
Why is the nut on the top of the triple clamp so mangled on the Suzuki? Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on my OCD. Great video as always guys, thanks a bunch for bringing some fun to my rainy monday.
Hayabusa or gex ? Im hesitate. I prefer one way spend money on 2017 technoligie, engine and light than a 2008 bike. But also like the comfort and protection of the busa, and the passenger seats... i mean i live with only 1 vehicule
I’ve owned both. Much preferred the gsxr. More reliable and cheaper as well
So many R's in the names of these bikes I swear they're named by pirates.

I got a 2018 CBR1000RR because of your comments about the bike and you were right on point. The bike is gorgeous and reliable. The Suzuki headlight is ugly and the looks are important as well

Suzuki could of easily made that muffler bigger.
At least it doesn't have big ugly cat converter hanging under it, put a slipon on it problem solved.
its definitely too small thats for sure
Yeah I was actually saying at least the gixxer hasn't got a big ugly cat converter like the one on the BMW. I own a 2015 GSX-R 750 the cats hidden well.
they sure are I know now why people love their gixxers

vaishakh babu MCN's so stale compared! It's almost frustrating. Lol
MCN would also benefit from some lessons in audio recording from you guys.

GSXR took down the CBR Fireblade 1000RR-R SP, R1 and more at half the cost in super stock 1000. They are killing it on the actual circuit.

About the throttle lag stuff, I think something must be wrong with the traction control modes, 10 of them!
It's obviously all about who's got the biggest exhaust these days...or is it not!
It’s worth paying a premium for what extra service on the bmw?
Torque the bolts and change the oil... and do it properly.
I am wondering what the difference is in terms of cost. I guess the BMW will also be long living if maintained properly. But how much more do you actually have to pay to let a dealer do that? Any experience?
Good one. Would be interesting to see if you guys do superbike shootout 2017 to see your view as well on the others.

This versus Baron's R1M? Didn't compare, so I expect a video coming soon
What about the EURO4 sound concerning the S1000rr, is it still good and loud?
Is that “variable valve timing” too simple to work or does it work because it’s simple? Any word if it will, or can, be used in other Suzuki models?

Fantastic video! the oe exhausts are always removed. I'd personally go for the bmw or R1.
what about a video of the new blade and suzuki and bmw or all the 1000ccErrrs?
awesome vid as always! Thanks guys!
hit it in the head ... one question though, on the new gixer i dont see any cat, so if you get a slipon is that it? Is the cat inside of the can on the factory donger on the gixxer???
So being quite a tall chap BvG, which bike is more suited to the long leg life? The BMW always felt comfortable (for a Supersport)... How does the GSX-R compare?
those red and white leathers look awfully tight, on the plus side good you tube vid
Why is the nut on the top of the triple clamp so mangled on the Suzuki? Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on my OCD.
Great video as always guys, thanks a bunch for bringing some fun to my rainy monday.
Outstanding video keep it up guys!!
I really hate when new bikes come out cause than ppl start talking trash about the rr but look at the interview 1 year ago and they loved it
Hayabusa or gex ? Im hesitate. I prefer one way spend money on 2017 technoligie, engine and light than a 2008 bike. But also like the comfort and protection of the busa, and the passenger seats... i mean i live with only 1 vehicule
The QUS. is which one has more of a safety ?
I've been eagerly awaiting this lineup, cheers gents. Delivering the review goods without the wank :)
wanting to see the gixxer vs new r1. then compare the cbr to one
of them
