Thank you for your video. One note; Don't worry too much about the preload. There is a lot of nonsense being told on the internet about spring preloading. The preload is only to ensure that the spring does not come loose from its seat during suspension drop. Other than that, it doesn't do anything at all! Almost all auto coilovers have linear springs. Therefore a few mm more or less preload is not important. As soon as the weight of the car comes on the coilovers, the preload is cancelled out by the weight of the car. So don't worry. Have fun driving your car!
I see - the FA instructions made it feel like pre-load was super important, but glad the few mm is not as important. So far its been driving really well after the alignment.
Just make sure there is enough tension on the spring to keep it in place and you are ok. When in doubt add 1/8 inch extra preload, it will do no harm. @@revcircle
Tip: even tho FA come with stickers stating not to mess with preload as they “set from factory”; I highly recommend double checking as my 2 front coilovers were incorrect. I have an invoice stating this as my car was making noises and had to get them adjusted… always check!

I double check too, but good to know the preload stickers are also not precise.
