I bet. I didn't learn all the Blue Bullets back when I played on PS2. You could use this same strat I believe, but grinding the Mega Tonberry until you get an oversoul will be annoying.
How did you manage to oversoul him on battle simulator? I tried doing that by killing 15 normal tonberries but when I went to the battle simulator; no oversoul mega tonberry. Help?
Im trying to learn ultima from shady duo, i have a theory: even if i lose if i get hit as gun mage in theory i should be able to learn ultima right? Only problem is im around level 30 on ng+ I'll level up well enough but if i simply get with with shady duo will i learn ultima?
@@tryv1 you know what happened just one hour after posting the og comment, I got Megiddo garment grid. I've been getting back into X2. I just got kimari & Lulu. I tought them both flare, alchemist mega potion, reflect & hastega and auto regain. Megiddo GG they both spam ultima & flare. Also when heath drops they spam mega potion. So I use Yuna & Lulu & kimari. I use Yuna as mascot to heal them & they both spam ultima & flare.

The other accessories are Ragnarok so ultima doesn't cost anything. I then put auto life on them so they self resurrect themselves & Yuna if she dies & I also taught them mega position. I'm still hoping for a x-3 sequel hopefully online. Where players can team up in teams of four. Sin returns & learns from shuyin that he can operate vegnagun, combined they become known as VEGNA-SIN. TYRP, Titus, Yuna, riku & pain Start to l train the people of spira (the players) to become a new generation of sphere hunters to help them defeat VEGNA-SIN. Imagine a 3d open world MMO FF X3 online where you can capture fiends pokemon style or enter world tournaments as a team of 4 players. That's just my personal wish, I doubt it'll ever happen 😂 lol
I wanted to ask if you've done this in Chapter 5 because I've been wanting to get that ability along with Gippal and Baralai's abilities and it's a little difficult to get them. I've tried to get the Mortar and Drill Shot abilities on Chapter 5 in the battle simulator but no luck. Any ideas on that one?🤔

Well, I got an Adamantite for each girl, and I'm planning to get a Key to Success or two for each of them. I got one Key to Success, so I'm working on getting two more. And I do find it odd that the Mega Tonberry has access to Flare and Firaga, and not just Cry in the Night. Recommended EXP Level: 99 Garment Grid: Heart of Flame Dresspheres: Mascot, Gun Mage, and a third Dressphere to fill the void Accessories: Key to Success & Adamantite Truth is, that the Mega Tonberry can only use Cry in the Night while he's Oversouled, AND his current HP is at 25% or less. I managed to get Cry in the Night for Yuna, though, I'm trying to get it for Rikku and Paine as well. Once that's done, I'm getting more Keys to Success for YRP. Aside from Double All, they increase Max HP & MP by 100% and Luck by 100, so with 2 for each girl, their max HP and MP are tripled and with 200 more Luck.
If you are playing the International version you can get many Adamantite and Key to Success in a single playthrough in Creature Creator. You can also get a bunch of Iron Dukes which are the most powerful accessories.

I'm doing an NG and I already got 99 Iron Dukes (not including the ones I used to max stat my creatures), 9 Key to Successes, 4 Adamantites, 15 Enterprises and Invincibles (not including the ones I used for Break HP Limit and Break Damage Limit) because I unlocked all the Cups.
@@damindabandara5594 I personally loved the game. It was silly at times but in a fun way. Maybe the stick up your bum hinders your humor? The combat is league's more fun than most of the ff games before it. X had the better story but that combat was so boring.

X was serious and genuinely emotional, one of the FF series greats, and this game just seemed a bit daft. The combat system is ok, but I think many just found the game’s demeanour irritating, not funny. I got into it eventually, looking past the annoying campiness, but I can remember my first impressions with the game weren’t great, I imagine many didn’t get past that and switched off early. P.S. No need to insult the guy, just because he feels differently to you. I personally thought FFX traditional combat was better, doesn’t mean I’m going to call you a stiff or whatnot just because you feel differently.

You have to kill mega tonberrys to get it to oversoul. I forget how many though and apparently the wiki I linked no longer has info on it.

Yes, as long as they use Ultima you should learn it regardless of if you win the fight.

Kill 15 tonberry. The 16th will be oversoul. You can kill 15 regular tonberry then go fight megatonberry for 16 and it will oversoul.
