I feel like they did Paine so dirty with some of the dresspheres. They took a character whose design was perfect for lady-like edginess and made her look so unlike herself. I agree completely on the psychic and songstress dresspheres. I really wish they would have stuck to her unique flair with more leather and metal details across some of the outfits. I think she would have killed it as a more Joan Jett or Siouxsie-like songstress. Even if they had pulled from something Japanese counter-culture like Visual Kei, she'd look so fire.
I didn't realize I was waiting for someone to talk about this my whole life!!! I remember falling in love with ff x2 and it was my favorite ff game I'd played (at the time if played x and xiii) loving it but going online as a kid and people were trashing the game like crazy. Ive noticed that the game is looked backed up on fondly but I remember at the time people hated it before they even tried it 😔
Yeah - I don't think people gave this game a proper chance. It's definitely very camp - but I think it's also quite unique and creative. I spent hours on the game
When i was a kid i had the ff10-2 strategy guide and i used to flip through it just to look at every single outfit for the girls and picking my faves lol
My favorite was totally Rikku’s psychic dressphere! I love the school girl look, and even how she floats on her side when the battle is won is sooo Rikku. I think I like Paine’s main outfit the best, but you definitely got me appreciating some of her pants looks more! This was my favorite game growing up!
The weapons they have for each outfit are also really interesting choices. I understand why you didn't go into it, but they add a lot to each look. Some highlights: In keeping with your dislike for thief, all three just have recolors of the weird wheel-knives. Oddly low-effort, considering. I do appreciate how they all wield them differently though. All three are wielding various of Auron's swords, for Samurai. On Warrior, Rikku's blade is clearly of Al Bhed make, and Paine's ties into her Special, but the stand-out is Yuna wielding Tidus' sword Brotherhood. It's interesting to me that even when she's wielding her old staff Yuna doesn't return to the old Summoner look for White Mage. Helps sell the idea that she's leaving the past behind. Gunner and Dark Knight reveal how they like to make Rikku's weapons kind of comical, from the much smaller derringer-style gun that fits her agile and unpredictable movement (they picked a monkey to represent her for Trainer, after all) or the giant sword that seems almost like it's swinging her around. On both Alchemist and Gunner you also get the sense that Paine likes stopping power. She goes for big guns that hit hard. Most of the Festivalist look, including the fact that their weapons are all different, was designed by a young fan! Look up the story, it's adorable. I find it curious that when they made an iconic black mage for the dresspheres, they went with models of Yuna's staff, not their own black mage Lulu's series of dolls. I guess they decided it was too original, and wanted to go for a more traditional "witchy" look.
I have been waiting for a video like this for years. Yuna's fashion evolution from X to X-2 is misunderstood by a lot of people. They call her a hussy for showing skin as a gunner. Despite showing skin, she's more covered up than Rikku and Paine in their iconic outfits. Paine is basically topless aside from the shawl covering the tube top. The consistent theme throughout most of Yuna's spheres is femininity. I feel like that point is deliberately missed by a lot of people.
Well - I'm a huge fan of body confidence - and I love when traditionally conservative characters find some boldness in their style. Yuna is a great example of that.
I've been really hoping someone would talk about video game fashion in a professional way for awhile now. I'm giving you that subscription if you can keep this going! It's a niche audience but as someone who loves the freedom with fashion in fantasy, I want to hear more of your analysis.
The reason Yuna is more often then not a copy/paste of Rikku is because she is her influence for being more out going and free compared to her life before, where she lived it mostly for the day she would 'defeat Sin' so, not really free to do much. Also, Yuna's main Gunner look pulls so strongly from Titus' design... Titus' Necklace of the Blitz ball team The Abes, is the Design in her Decollatage, her 'for no reasonx hood because Titus had one... yellow arm accent and wrist black protector from his Yellow gauntlet and black glove... it's just so sweet and sublet if you aren't looking for it but, so important for her character and goal.
Not usually into fashion, but I thank you for bridging the gap for my understanding using a favorite childhood game franchise of mine (FFX &FFX-2). Rikku is also my favorite of the three.
X-2 was a bit too ahead of its time. People still wanted stuff like X but if this came out today it would've been received a lot better in the west. That being said i think some of the outfits are a tad ugly and some aren't helped by the ps2 graphics being slightly dated. They would've looked better if they came out on the ps3 or later. But some of the designs are great. They especially nailed the unique appearances of the girls' default outfits. I'm glad you brought up charlie's angels and sailor moon because the crossover of those 2 is how i describe the game basically. Cameron Diaz is rikku, Lucie Liu is Yuna and Drew Barrymore is Paine. And the magical girl influence is in your face. For Yuna and paine as thief and paine and rikku as gunner i kinda like that they don't look that good because its like those classes are owned by the one most familiar with them, although yuna as thief has grown on me over time. I think all 3 of them look fine as warrior even if paine still looks best. The fact that paine looks worst in thief makes sense she would probably be the least comfortable in that. Sadly even if we get an X-3 idk if paine will even be in it cause with all the crap audio drama and extra stuff we got post X-2 it seems like they're trying to erase X-2 from the story. They even committed the highest sin of giving yuna long hair. One thing i noticed throughout most of rikku's outfits is they they have a sort of Islandy or rasta type deal in line with her braided hair. Not to sound ignorant but idk a better way to describe it. It's kinda there even in ones like the trainer. The psychic and festivalist have actually been a thing for like 20 years now. Just like there was an international version of X there was an international version of X-2 with more content but only japan got it. So the remaster just gave us what japan already had for 2 decades now.
Rather than a backup singer, I think Rikku's songstress dressphere was going for an idol aesthetic, personally I think it captured the vibe pretty well.
This was a fun concept. FFX-2 is one of my favorite games even if I can admit it was silly all around. The dresspheres concept was so fun and I felt that it really worked with the game with it's nod to Sailor Moon. That all said, I'm pretty bias as Paine's main outfit was always my favorite out of the three what with being into dark fashion. I wouldn't say the look is "Goth" as someone who is into the scene myself but just that whole Dark-Punky esthetic to it was an instant grab for me. I loved it back in 2003 and I still love it now after all these moons later and I would so wear it and trying to find a way to emulate it in my own style (one of these days haha). That being said, Yuna's main default look was also nice as well, I love her hooded top with the insignia chest piece ad the lace. The side skirt does seem a bit much but at the same time it works so well with the look and really ties it together. Although I do agree that her Songstress look fits her character much more and it should've been her default. Rikku unfortunately, I don't have as much enthusiasm for it. I'm just not really into skimpy looks like that and I much preferred her look from The only thing I really like about her default look is her hairstyle, it looks amazing! As for the dresspheres, they all have their interesting quirks but I think the Black Mage one is my most favorite though I'm bias again because I like witch aesthetics. And I actually love Paine's look the most and it's in part because of how her transformation sequence for it was done. She looked so badass with her entrance in that outfit and the style just oozes her name haha. Though in saying that, I also like Yuna's an Rikku's looks as well, they were cute. I also want to give an extra nod to Paine's white mage look because I love the concept of it and more important, the quirk that she would be a mobile medic not having a dress or robe tie her down if she needed to run across the battlefield to aid her teammate. That's the thought that always ran in my head whenever I'd see that look haha. Anyway fun analysis!
I love that you've taken personal style into account in your critiques. I enjoy Paine's goth vibe, so to see her in heels and a thong (over shorts, really?) for the thief role is so confusing to me. It's weird how for this dressphere the other girls got boots but Paine was given heels. Back when I played X-2, I gave the girls dresspheres based on who looked the most comfortable and confident in each. It looks like I wasn't the only one doing that 😄
Thanks for taking the time to explain your rating criteria, I think assessing each look on how it fits the pre-existing styles and personalities of the characters is extremely insightful and actually makes some outfits edge out what could be considered better styles but in the wrong personality. Cheers
I absolutely love that I stumbled onto your channel!!! The idea of critiquing the fashion and campiness of video game characters is oh so perfect for video game nerds that have a thing for fashion. As for this video, my personal fave of this trio was always Paine. I always loved the fact that her outfits featured high heels, platforms or chunk heels. No matter what outfit she had on, there was always some form of foot elevation for Paine that Yuna or RIkku didn't have.
I LOOOVED the video! Really enjoyed the balance of hearing your objective thoughts on the costumes as well as getting to know your tastes. You make incredible videos! Apologies if this isn't the place for video ideas, though I would love to hear your thoughts on Tetsuya Nomura's whole body of work. He has contributed a lot of the character designs to the series as a whole and most of the designs in X and X-2. He's got a super iconic design sensibility and it would be awesome to hear your take!
This was the video that first introduced me to your channel and I'm still picking up what you're putting down here! I would say my favorite dresspheres are the Gunner, Gun Mage and Alchemist. I'm a sucker for asymmetry and the reduced, skin baring base paired with ornate side-skirts all give me memories of Jecht's effortless confidence and swag from the first game. In my head, they act as something of a trinity of extremes in design that harkens back to the overall theming of the world of FFX. Gunner has a very neutral, natural, rugged vibe to it which is the general vibe that Spira gives off in the day-to-day and speaks to Yuna's desire to be a woman of the people. Not above them but among them. Gun Mage on the other hand obviously leans hard into the spiritual, mystical magic of Spira and reflects the more ornately, dramatic and mystical design choices and cues found in those who are tied to the church of Yevon and those who's careers tie more into the magic system like Summoners and Mages. Alchemist goes in the direction of the steampunk machina industrialism that can be found dotted through Spira and of course the Al Bhed. Very reinforced and scrappy and "Pots and pans" style technological while also having a muted, worn down and well used element to it giving off the vibe that most of the tech is reclaimed from the past which is a design philosophy found in a lot of Machina and Machina affiliated characters and citizens. Also big guns and explosions because it ain't Al Bhed if it doesn't have big guns and explosions.
I love that this video exists haha. I hadn't really thought about the fashion too deeply before so it was interesting to hear all your thoughts. And Id say I pretty much agree with them for the most part! Laughed when you said you hated Paine's gun mage pants because YES they do look awful. I'm glad it's not just me. 😅 I also think I agree that Yuna's psychic outfit is probably the nicest overall - that set is badass! Mind you, as a teen i was obsessed with Yuna's stock gunner look/outfit for probably about 2.5 to 3yrs. I still really love it. I kinda feel like i wish the white mage set was just.. different to what it was. I found it boring while I was playing and only really saw it due to the mechanical value of its healing. I mean i get it.. white mage, white outfit but beyond that none of them popped at all, for me And, then, i guess in similar fashion I wasn't much a fan of the black mage outfit, either. Mostly the hats! Don't get me wrong, i love a big fancy hat but Yuna and Paine especially i felt like it looked too kitschy, or just comically oversized im not really sure
Great perspective - thanks for sharing. Even though I like the black Mage looks for the most part - I agree that it would have been nice to see something a little less cliche (same with white mage)
ooh i loved the fits in this game. one of my favorite games as a kid and definitely inspired some of my love for fashion. so many unique choices. love this idea for a video
Perfect game to discuss in this format. Remember playing this game and (being a kid) spending hours trying to decide which ones made them look the most cool, instead of thinking of mechanics HAHAHAHA
Lol - same kinda. I really tried to make my favorite looks successful - but i eventually just settled for their main dresspheres just for the sake of advancing in the game 🙃🤭
This was really interesting! I love the way characters look in games, especially in JRPGs but i never gave it that much thought. Love the concept of this video and will be looking at your other videos in this series!
i got recommended this video and im so thankful omg thank you for making a video about this!! I LOVED THE DRESSPHERE LOOKS!! some of them are seriously super cute and just so stylish ahh! subscribed
Girl, the first time I saw Psychic dressphere, I was heavy breathing. The styling just ticked every boxes for me. Best dress all the way. Black mage is also really great. I think White Mage wasn't that bad, but I hope they do something more for Yuna and Rikku.
I did not expect to like, or have an opinion on this video. Ended up loving it and loving your excitement talking about it all. I don't know jack about fashion, but you sir, got me listening and looking. Great game, great video, good job.
FFX was also my first final fantasy and also X-2 was baby’s first favorite final fantasy. Still has the best job system in any final fantasy, period. I want to recommend FFXIV but my god, I don’t even know where one would start. Maybe a focus on just the battle job artifact gear? Still would be a long video tho, good god. Edit: whoops this is what I get for writing before the end lol. Yuna was often my favorite but let me tell you. Paine was part of my bi awakening before I realized I was even having one LOL. Both of them were more likely to be my favorites across the board, especially Yuna’s outfits.
X-2 was my first every final fantasy game and I was here for every second of it. I even have the remaster. I can’t wait to finish the vid and hear your critiques on the dressspheres.
IMHO, when Pain wants to be sexy, is the sexiest of the crew. I think she is my favorite. But Yuna and Riku has amazing outfits too. I want to see similar videos with the rest of FF because we have somo cool outfits. Great video
Nice, I never played the remaster so I've never seen the psychic dress sphere but I agree I think they're all so good and match each of the ladies' styles. I have more of a Yuna bias since I like modest clothing but I still overall agreed with most of your opinions ☺️
My Best outfit: Thief Rikku Trainer NONE Dark knight NONE Samurai Rikku Berserker Rikku Warrior Paine Lady luck Paine Gun Mage NONE White mage NONE Alchemist Yuna Gunner Yuna Festivalist Yuna & Rikku Black Mage Rikku & Paine Songstress Yuna Special ALL Psychic Yuna
1 year isn't too late for sure... thank you so much for this video. it's a dream come true for girl gamers like me! i always feel like they designed these dresspheres to suit one of the girls the most and then make a few modifications for the other two... like for example (besides their defaults) yuna with songstress, rikku with alchemist (plusss i honestly love her as a berserker bc it's so cohesive with her move set and her dressphere outro animation), paine with samurai, etc. you explained things so eloquently x
Hell yeah XDF, I'm loving this series. The FFX universe in general has sorta wild fashion so it's a great pick - I liked Gippal's weird-ass pirate landsknecht outfit.
I would love to see you analyze more Tetsuya Nomura designed characters like in Kingdom Hearts or The World Ends With You, ESPECIALLY TWEWY since it's so fashion oriented!
Been meaning to play FFX-2 for ages. I got stuck on the second-to-last boss of X so I couldn't justify skipping to X-2. That said, I'd love to see you do an analysis of the wider Final Fantasy series. Between Amano and Nomura there are so many fantastic outfits in this franchise
I didn't really understand fashion until after this video, I always thought fashion was just...the cloths, like good fashion was good nonmatter who wore it, and runway shows could have been done with mannequins if they could walk. Turns out, the person wearing the cloths plays a much bigger role in fashion than I thought, the cloths don't exist in a vacuum, they're meant to convey the nature and style of the person they are on. I mostly understood that as just character design (from a game dev/storytelling perspective) or just general self expression, in fact I always saw self expression as in defiance to fashion, that good or bad fashion is dictated by some authority in the field, and dressing for yourself is to go against that.
Yay - I'm very happy you had this takeaway. Your perspective on fashion before was interesting - I imagine a lot of people look at fashion that way. Really appreciate you being open minded.
I’m not into fashion IRL at all but as a huge fan of the series you’ve been covering (JJBA, Bleach, now FF), I’m loving these videos! I just love character designs and the artist’s creativity when going for different looks. Would HIGHLY recommend you check out One Piece! Huge cast of characters with arguably some of the best character designs/outfits in the medium. Tons of nice colorful spreads to choose from too! You’ll love it!
Hello! Fun fact about the Festivalist and Psychic dresspheres! These are actually designed by literal children, and submitted as part of a contest to create your own dressphere!
I started playing this game again and it's fun to see someone break down the fashion concepts of the dresspheres given how intertwined fashion is with modern Final Fantasy. Maybe it's just me, but part of my dislike of Rikku's Berserker dressphere is that it looks like she's wearing a diaper or granny panties with a leopard print band. Absolute boot. I also really like Yuna's Songstress look too, and it makes me glad the dressphere is an absolutely bonkers support with some of its dances.
Dragon Quest does a lot of really fun and interesting outfits for characters throughout the series, especially with Dragon Quest 8 and 11. Would be very fun to see your interpretation of some of those!
X2 is so iconic, thank you for talking about the fashion! I wish they had given Yuna's white mage outfit more ties to her original look from X, since she was the white mage there. They could have done something similar to Bridget from Guilty Gear Strive, where she took her old outfit and repurposed the pieces into a brand new outfit that she feels more confident in.
I loved X-2 even when my friends called it trash. I had to basically hide my liking for it, at least until I came out as bi at nearly 11 years later lol Do you play XIV? They've got a lot of good outfits--not implying you should make a video about that! Good lord there are is just too much to tackle in that regard 🤣
@@XDF if you like long stories, XIV has many of them lol, it's a looooong game but fashion ends up being the end-game for a lot of people. Lots of armor/outfit mix and match, a few crossover costumes like Tidus and Yuna's outfits(dyeable), Zidane's outfit from IX, Squall and Cloud's(movie) outfits from their respective games...lots of clothing and you can put it over your current gear so you can always look fresh in any dungeon you walk into 😎 Ooh maybe check out the Tales series for some interesting fashion? Tales of Symphonia has a mix of "medieval/colonial" fantasy and like almost-modern garb? 🤔 Idk I'll stop before I get ahead of myself, I love your content, I'm here for whatever you end up talking about 😄
I've never played a single game of final fantasy in my entire life. The fits look okkkkkk ish but personally they're too revealing and they look like some kind of survival game gear. Nice review tho hahah
X-2 is such an underrated gem. Dark Knight and Black Mage are definitely my favorite Dressphere outfits for all three girls, especially my girl Paine.
Great choices 🖤
Thief Rikku, Black Mage Yuna and Lady Luck Paine are my fave dresspheres for each of them

I think she would have killed it as a more Joan Jett or Siouxsie-like songstress. Even if they had pulled from something Japanese counter-culture like Visual Kei, she'd look so fire.
I agree - I honestly wish there was more Paine in the overall franchise - such an effortlessly cool character
I had never seen the psychic dresspheres, and I am OBSESSED!! You have GOT to do the rest of Final Fantasy, too
The popped off with Psychic!
I love the concept for this show and Im surprised i hadnt seen anything like this before.
I've been getting great feedback like that so far 🙌🏽
I didn't realize I was waiting for someone to talk about this my whole life!!!

Thanks for watching - plenty more to come

And of course her sword for warrior is literally his iconic sword, so yeah, she draws a lot from Tidus which is cute and I'm sure intentional
Not usually into fashion, but I thank you for bridging the gap for my understanding using a favorite childhood game franchise of mine (FFX &FFX-2). Rikku is also my favorite of the three.
Appreciate you watching. Always good to find fellow Rikku fans 🙌🏽

Really appreciate you sharing all of your thoughts. Very fair and valid points made 👌🏽
Psychic is probably my favorite too, kinda got a magical girl meet sentai kind of vibe.
Exactly

I completely agree - I definitely used the dresspheres based on how cute the characters looked 🤭
I just love to watch your videos. Oh I didn't miss your homage to Yuna's skirt with your shirt.
Glad someone noticed 😉

Of course - thanks for taking the time to watch. :)
Love your passion! Paine's warrior look will forever be iconic for me 🖤 Would love to see your take on the fashion in Cardcaptor Sakura 🌸
Thank you - and appreciate the suggestion.

Thanks for appreciating the effort 🙌🏽
Love that extra bit of insight and perspective. Your interest seems to lean toward the techy/industrial vibe. It's giving cyberpunk energy
I also think I agree that Yuna's psychic outfit is probably the nicest overall - that set is badass!
I mean i get it.. white mage, white outfit but beyond that none of them popped at all, for me
And, then, i guess in similar fashion I wasn't much a fan of the black mage outfit, either.
Yes - definitely a childhood favorite of mine as well
Perfect game to discuss in this format.
Bless - tysm
Wow i have never been so glad for this existing and u for making it omfg 😍😍😍
Glad you enjoyed! X-2 is perfect for this :D
i got recommended this video and im so thankful omg thank you for making a video about this!! I LOVED THE DRESSPHERE LOOKS!! some of them are seriously super cute and just so stylish ahh! subscribed
Yaaayyy - thanks for the engagement and support
Omg thank you for making this 😆 I’m living rn
No prob
I'm so happy I found this video, finally the ffx2 fashion is getting the attention it deserves.
It deserves all the shine for its fabulous looks
Now you just have to go though all of Lightning's various outfits!
Girl, the first time I saw Psychic dressphere, I was heavy breathing. The styling just ticked every boxes for me. Best dress all the way. Black mage is also really great. I think White Mage wasn't that bad, but I hope they do something more for Yuna and Rikku.
Yeeesss - exactly. All around agree.
Great concept for a video. Really well done.
Much appreciated
Lady Luck, Gun mage and payne’s songstress camel toe will always be famous
Not the camel toe 🤣😂
@@XDF bb it’s Iconique 🥲
Wow thank u so much for this awesome series!! This is a very fun and unique topic that i dont see discussed much. Lotsa love
Awww - so kind of you. Thank you for the lovely comment 😄
I did not expect to like, or have an opinion on this video. Ended up loving it and loving your excitement talking about it all. I don't know jack about fashion, but you sir, got me listening and looking. Great game, great video, good job.
Thanks again
Loved this ! Smiled throughout ❤️❤️
Awesome. Glad it was a good time 🙌🏽
This video is so good!
Deffo deserves more recognition
Much appreciated
Lady Luck is my fav, which is Leblanc main outfit. 2nd fav would be Songstress, Lenne. A ton of NPC also got some killer fashion sense.
Great choices - yeah, plenty of style in X-2 👌🏽
I love that videos like this exist, it’s cool to get unique opinions on such odd and cool things.
Thank you
FFX was also my first final fantasy and also X-2 was baby’s first favorite final fantasy.
Thanks for sharing - X-2 was a significant game for me as well - an underrated gem overall
X-2 was my first every final fantasy game and I was here for every second of it. I even have the remaster. I can’t wait to finish the vid and hear your critiques on the dressspheres.
Thanks for giving the video a watch 😊
IMHO, when Pain wants to be sexy, is the sexiest of the crew. I think she is my favorite. But Yuna and Riku has amazing outfits too. I want to see similar videos with the rest of FF because we have somo cool outfits. Great video
I definitely agree
Nice, I never played the remaster so I've never seen the psychic dress sphere but I agree I think they're all so good and match each of the ladies' styles.
I have more of a Yuna bias since I like modest clothing but I still overall agreed with most of your opinions ☺️
Glad you agree for the most part 🕺🏽

Thanks for watching/commenting
What an analysis! Love it!
Glad you liked it!
I'm glad that the content resonates
super fun video! this game was my first real final fantasy game I think
Awesome
I love your concept of Charlie's Angels and Sailor Moon to compare FFX-2
Yesss, glad you get the vision
Great video! Wondering where you got your shirt from, I love it so much!
Thank you! Late reply - but I got it from ASOS
Great video as always!
Much appreciated!
Hell yeah XDF, I'm loving this series. The FFX universe in general has sorta wild fashion so it's a great pick - I liked Gippal's weird-ass pirate landsknecht outfit.
Yes - this franchise definitely has some interesting styles
I would love to see you analyze more Tetsuya Nomura designed characters like in Kingdom Hearts or The World Ends With You, ESPECIALLY TWEWY since it's so fashion oriented!
Thanks for the suggestions
YAAAASSS!!! LOVE THIS GAME!!!! X YOU SLAYED ME WITH THIS ONE
Yay - glad you enjoy thos game too
Really love your videos keep going!
You got it!
omfg this video was made for me thank you
Love that for you 🙌🏽
Damn it man i gotta sub. So knowledgeable and tasteful! 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Thanks so very much
Love this video concept. Looking forward to watching through.
Thanks!
I'm so glad i found this video omg
Thank you for watching
I’m not into fashion IRL at all but as a huge fan of the series you’ve been covering (JJBA, Bleach, now FF), I’m loving these videos! I just love character designs and the artist’s creativity when going for different looks. Would HIGHLY recommend you check out One Piece! Huge cast of characters with arguably some of the best character designs/outfits in the medium. Tons of nice colorful spreads to choose from too! You’ll love it!
Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated
Yeeeeesss, the perfect topic idea!
Yeeesss
The Festival looks were designed by an 8 year old contest winner. :3
Definitely see where you're coming from
Yes this video is amazing! Thank you XDF!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Loving these videos thx
Glad you like them!
Loving your outfit in this video! Idk why, but it's giving me Zoro from One Piece.
Ooo - I love that interpretation 😊
Dragon Quest does a lot of really fun and interesting outfits for characters throughout the series, especially with Dragon Quest 8 and 11. Would be very fun to see your interpretation of some of those!
I'm sure I'll make my way there eventually 👍🏽
Awesome video brother.
Thanks a lot!
This is awesome! 2:47 lmfao as a big girl back then, this always killed my ego when I couldn't dress like that. (Bleh)
Yeah - those X-2 outfits are not very accessible for most people 😅
X2 is so iconic, thank you for talking about the fashion! I wish they had given Yuna's white mage outfit more ties to her original look from X, since she was the white mage there. They could have done something similar to Bridget from Guilty Gear Strive, where she took her old outfit and repurposed the pieces into a brand new outfit that she feels more confident in.
I wish you could do an Outfit Analysis of Sailor Moor characters
Coming soon
Ur so awesome for making this video
Aww - thanks so very much
You should do Fire Emblem Engage. All of the characters have different more relaxed outfit in the hub area and has semi modern look to it
Never gave x-2 a proper play through, these out fits looks great though. Feel like it totally nails the idol vibes the game was going for
I definitely agree 🙌🏽 One of my favorite collection of video game outfits 🥰
I need to come back to this. I remember not liking something about how the game was structured, but the style of the FF10 universe is great!
This is everything my gay eyes needed! Thank you for creating this type of content! Keep on living your stylish self ✌️✌️✌️✌️
So very glad you appreciated the video 🫶🏽
I loved X-2 even when my friends called it trash. I had to basically hide my liking for it, at least until I came out as bi at nearly 11 years later lol
Do you play XIV? They've got a lot of good outfits--not implying you should make a video about that! Good lord there are is just too much to tackle in that regard 🤣
X2 is an underrated gem 💎
I havent played XIV - if something stands out to me, i may consider a video
@@XDF if you like long stories, XIV has many of them lol, it's a looooong game but fashion ends up being the end-game for a lot of people. Lots of armor/outfit mix and match, a few crossover costumes like Tidus and Yuna's outfits(dyeable), Zidane's outfit from IX, Squall and Cloud's(movie) outfits from their respective games...lots of clothing and you can put it over your current gear so you can always look fresh in any dungeon you walk into 😎
Ooh maybe check out the Tales series for some interesting fashion? Tales of Symphonia has a mix of "medieval/colonial" fantasy and like almost-modern garb? 🤔
Idk I'll stop before I get ahead of myself, I love your content, I'm here for whatever you end up talking about 😄
Would be cool if you take a look the fashion in Eureka Seven
can't wait for the ff13 lighting returns looks lol
I'll def try to take a look
would love for you to make a ranking or just talk about the fashion in fire emblem ( engage )
I'll try to take a look at that franchise eventually
They raised me.
Me too! 🫶🏽
Video game drip check is crazy 😭
Yeeesss
Haha what a fun video 👍 toot it or boot it combined with final fantasy
Glad you enjoyed! :D
yuna is modest and demure
Oh yeah
Yeeesss

I've never played a single game of final fantasy in my entire life. The fits look okkkkkk ish but personally they're too revealing and they look like some kind of survival game gear. Nice review tho hahah
Thanks foe the honest opinion. I definitely think they could have been more thoughtful with a lot of these outfits
My violence inhibitors are a joke. No, really. I only keep them enabled because of how funny they are
Paine's thief outfit made me show VISIBLE disgust. It looks like underwear and not in a good way.
Lol - exactly. Does not flatter her character at all
Paine is
Or even one piece
Tsk. Tuck your shirt in or leave it out! 😂
It's ok to admit you don't know style ;)
It’s fashion be so fr
