It is best to do this in New Game Plus and have beaten Trema twice so you have 2 Iron Dukes. But in this video I show you how to do it without Iron Dukes.

Limit, Break HP Limit, Auto-Haste, Ribbon
I beat Major Numerus in 1M 44S , but i should be able to go under 1M 30S as well its all about the random attacks of Major Numerus, if one gets super lucky, who knows how quickly you can defeat it.
Defense Bracers can be bribed from Ultima Weapon 7-8 at a time for around 250,000k gil. Speed Bracers are best gotten by "Congratz"ing (Lady Luck Random Reels) the Chocobo Kings team in battle simulator.
Also you should congrats Trema over and over for ~100,000 gil per time. With all three girls doing it you can make millions of gil in minutes. Assuming you can survive Trema which you should be able to easily way before AS or MN. You can Escape if you can't kill him and still keep the money.
If you don't want to do the pause trick you should fight the Mighty Panzer for 10k per fight, 80k per fight with three "Gillionaire" or 3 "Double All" abilities, with the bonus of him dropping Crystal Bangles.
Wanted to add, you can bribe Ultima Weapon for loads of Defense Bracer (one time he gave me 35), Ultima Weapon is in Chocobo Ranch secret dungeon (takes a while to unlock)
You don't have to get 6 Iron Dukes before fighting Major Numerus. What I did was have Yuna mix 1 Dark Matter + Potion. You get this thing called a "Miracle Drink" and it makes you team Invulnerable for a long time. With Key to Success equipped it lasts even longer. With it, I went in with a pretty powerful Logos and Machina Hunter. They killed 3 heads before it wore off. The problem is getting Yuna to survive long enouhg to cast it. It's best to set your cursor to memory before doing this again. XD She usually gets killed by Fireworks. But when you do get it off, you can beat Numerus. It's how I won 10 Iron Dukes in 1 fight!
Actually the base Miracle Drink can wear off in like 5 seconds. It doesnt always, but once i tried to use it, and it wore off soon after spherechanging to another dressphere. Was trying to use it to survive Trema's Meteor in a solo challenge as his Meteor will ALWAYS kill in a solo unless you have invincibility (Its supposed to take 12.5% HP per hit, but can be halved with Shell, it still chains however meaning it will kill no matter what).
Yea but im too weak for this cup with level 82 trema one hit me with ultima or exodus kills me or the othe big thing the other dragon and the dou are easy
Also, if you get back attack chance, that one head always takes 99 999 damage and one of them 80 000+ damage or was it only with Fireworks and not quick attack,impale.
great video. I have an issue with Critical Bug (one of the fiends who you need to level to get a fayth fragment, which then gives you an Aeon) This fiend keeps coming in at level 99, though my characters are level 85. All other fiends come in at level 85. This means i cannot level Critical Bug enough to achieve Yojimbo.
By the way, a faster way to get Rabbit's Foots is go to Cactuar Cup and beat Jolly G Giant (The one with the Jumbo Cactuar), and go to exibition match, then keep farming that using Ray Of Hope and Lady Luck Dressphire. You can use the YRP to level up here, since you can easily beat then in Lv50 or more with at least 50 of Luck stats (Since you need to beat Choccobo's Cup to get a Rabbit's Foot and all prizes i see no problem in equip it on Rikku or Yuna to make it more faster). Other thing, the cactuar species oversouls at least with 14 cactuars beat, so make Jumbo Cactuar the 14th beat and he will Always (if all the other too beat first of course in last match, and he is the final blow fiend), with 200% sure, be the one that is Oversouled and by this means AWAYS give yo Rabbit's Foots. Its take like 5 matchs, since 5x3 = 15 and 15 is the oversoulded one you will find.
Other thing... Concheler is WAY TO EASY to beat if his is on oversoul. Maybe more up stats but he lost Megagigaton Pass, the only 1-Hit K.O attack he has. Ultima can be a problem if using a Large Creature, but i guess any Lv99 and with at least 50 Luck party can beat with no problems.
how about the hp, i remember youth league being a bugger as if nooj appears he always does 5000 damage with light fall and i remember my party had low hp like 4000 ish and i forgot which item/accessories convert into break hp limit. there was one accessory that gave me break damage limit to add to list, and i got ribbon, tetra proof, auto protect but the hp thing i couldn't get past much because of the low hp problem.
I couldnt play the monster arena on the original ffx2 for ps2. The blue barrier walls at the time just made the setting so "grainy" and hard on the eyes back then. Glad it was addressed in the remaster. Because with the arena floors being blue, and the arena forcefield an electric blue with a static effect....yeah just made the mode so visually horrendous on ps2.
I have a totally different question: I like using Logos in a normal game. But I used him first to unlock all goodies and he is way overpowered. If I release him, via creature history, he is gone forever... I cannot get him back. I haven’t changed his name, otherwise it could be the same issue with Tidus. I haven’t tried an another NG+ yet. Anyone had this issue before and know if a NG+ will fix this? Or am I forever screwed...?

Because all I have is small, medium, and large pods and no SP pods. :( And, I'm trying to figure out how to farm some Shmooth Shailings as well.
@@ashleyyoung796 i believe that either Calm Lands or Mi'ihen after killing the Chocobo Eater works. I can double check locations, but chocobos ik are available from the start of the game to get. They are considered a small in regards to pod size.

i learned that monster only learn attacks by getting hit with something. well i fought rly a lot battles with logos but he just doesnt learn quick attack so i wonder which monster or which attack will teach Logos Quick Attack ? i tryd against ifrit who attacks sometimes with quick attack too but nothing happens. never mint got the attack from Gippel in youthleague tournament which i unlocked at start from chapter 2.
Nice. I have an almighty shinra + logos team . I like clione because despite having a long animation it does not stop logos from attacking , i think my team with lv99 would kill quicker numerus, however yours is better for trema since he has high defence
if you can defeat Major Numerous easy, you will get Invincible and Enterprise, those 2 items have break HP limit and Break Damage limit , give those to your creatures and they will those Passive Abilitys :D
You know... Can't be the best one... Since i beat Trema in Fiend Arena, Corcheler and amost beat Almighty Shinra in 5 turns just using Logo, Kimhari and Lulu. All i do is just get then Lv99 and put every one in 255 max status (except by agility and evasion, since luck do that job), equip Auto-Wall and Auto-Haste in Logo, with the GG that gives you Critical and Break Damage Limit in the Yellow or Red Gate. To Kimhari i make him a stronger "Wall-Healer". That makes he gets White Wind, Full Life and Nova (to do more damage to Trema and Almighty Shinra, some people forgot that even Ultima and Flare make less damage then it), since Kimhari don't need much magic, Jump NEED to be on his attack, and using the same GG that Logos used, but using the Critical in White or Black Mage sphere, in the Blue Game one, that solve many problems about cast magics, if you need more use of magics (since Trema battle by that setting take at least 1 hour to beat with luck, turning impossible to lose even if he gets more then 2 Meteor skill by a strange bug in the International version in PS2), use Spellspings to nuliffy the use of MP cost, or just One MP Cost, by taking Bride Omega Weapon in the Exibition on Fiend Arena, using the Lady Luck Dressphere. Since you just get Last Resort GG IF you beat Almighty Shinra in Almighty Shinra's Cup, you need to use Lulu with Spellsprings, Black Magic Lv2, Magic Booster, Turbo Black Magic and Ribbon (You can change it to Auto-Protect or Auto-Wall if you have since she don't use White Magic, that don't cut in half and save you from som Flare or Quick Flare magics, and reduce the Meteor, Fireworks and Sparks damage a little if Max Magic Defense is up, even if don't need to worry with the Luck at 150 or much). From the atttacks, have at least one of the "furry" Overdrive she learn (Fire Furry is the best by damage on Almighty Shinra but its quitly irrelevated since there no much damage at all, kinda like 350-2500 depending on your critical luck, if you don't have Break Damage Limit on her not by GG), have Flare or Ultima at your arsenal, MP Absorb (That is the most important one, since she probably will not cast any PH attacks at enemies, and if no MP or don't have Spellsprings it could be a problem, so use it if you have One MP cost, can change to Magic Up if using the Spellsprings),Meteor (That makes lot of damage in Almighty Shinra if you low HP, that fits nice if you recive Ciclone attack or his Final Impact and your HP gets Yellow, since i remember by 9999, maybe 3000 or less make 5000 or more damage, if Break Damage Limit used in GG makes more then 9999, since is kinda 8 hits skill that fits nice) and Focus to up your magical damage faster, if Break Damage Limit used, is crazy because its take no limits to expand the damage and if alone and by gods luck you don't die, in amost 5 turns you just give more then 30000 damage on him and many more in Trema, since Trema give you no much than 1500 damage in basic attacks skills and 4000 damage in his Meteor at time, the only problem is that stupid old man have 999.999 HP and some PH and MG defense, but it fists well in Break Damage Limit.
You have to be playing either PS2 FFX-2 International (Japan only) *OR* PS3/PS4/Vita/PC Steam FFX+X2 HD Remaster. 1. Machina Leader can be caught with S/SP pod (target machina) at CH.5 Thunder Plain (after you open secret dungeon) 2. Machina Hunter can be caught with S/SP pod (target machina) at CH.2 to CH.5 in Bikanel Desert (CH.5 you need cactuar hollow unlocked and use SP pod) 3. Machina Ranger can be caught with S/SP pod (target machina) at CH.3 to CH.5 in Mi'hen Road (CH.5 you need to use SP pod)
When you defeat Major Numerus each head drops x5 Iron Dukes as a rare drop. Using the Ray of Hope Garment Grid (always rare drops) allows you to always get x20 Iron Dukes every time you defeat Major Numerus. Also some other accesories that you usually get once per playthrough can easily be obtained multiple times by winning cups (such as Key to Success, Adamantite, etc.)

I know this comment is way too late and your team is very good against Numerus but it is definitely not the BEST! It cannot beat anything that is immune to physical attacks. Personally I use a Black Sky user (I use Lulu but Chocobo works well - anything works really). I know people say Fireworks or Ultima but Black Sky is superior because no WAIT effect on your impalers. 10 impale strikes during one Black Sky animation!? No competition!
@@RogueEggman You can kill Major numerous with yuna, Rikku and Paine: Have one of the characters with Alchemist dressphere and an accessory or garment grid that give her First Strike ability. With your alchemist, you mix Dark Matter with a potion (you get Dark Matter by killing Trema) and it will make your party invincible to damage; switch your alchemist to Mascot (have everyone with Mascot, which has ribbon effect) so now you are also immune to status. Then attack major numerous until he dies, it will take a while; but it is sure win. This video is about making a super party that can overcome everything wih ease: no 30 minutes fights, no using dark matters. My only problem with this party is in shinra cup, some guys are immune to quick attack and impale, so the fight is stuck until i have them running away.
just one machina can kill major numerous. you'd need to get it's HP maxed and feed it some shmooth sailing to get the defense/magic defense/strength to 255. at that point, some star manipulation during the fight would be more than enough.
i cannot wait tell new game plus for some of these guys :) sadly only one adamintite and minerva's plate are giving so i gotta find another way of making an awesome team :( also lady luck sphere requires you to beat shinra in sphere breaks and sadly im not a mathematical fucking super genius greater then Einstein.
Crimzon Ninja just focus on the multiplier, i got it the first try with one inside coin and two outside coins, like 5 or 6 times in a row, it compounds the points, just keep doing the same number of outside coins
This team's good, but it won't beat everything. You'll hit a wall with the Aeshmas. It's best to always have a Black Sky user for the Fiend World and Farplane Cups.
I just learned that monsters and villains are just made that way. Can't control them entirely. The only thing you can do is somewhat influence their defensive/offensive behavior with the stars. Useless mode for me, too bad because it looked funny and novel at first.
International hd version, logos can't learn quick attack, i just got logos (chapter 5) he is level 70 and only haves attack and Hail Of Bullets. or does he need to be at level 1 and then when he gets to level 15 he'll learn it. I'm not gonna level up him from 1 to 99 :) .
this game is so bad .. i picked up the remaster duo pack because i always wanted to play the one with the girls .. everyone says "oh man it's so easy"./.. its not. i get killed off every time around level 20.
it's a JRPG, it's not "bad" cause of game design it's because you suck. You die alot because you suck as a player. Suck. The enemies are always a couple levels under you, yeah genius you die around level 20? That means enemies weaker than you kill you because you never bothered using your brain 🧠 🚫. It's called leveling up 🎚️to become stronger so you don't die. Even at low levels you get a white mage dresssphere that heals you early in game. You're the type of player to buy a game, not use your brain 🧠 🚫 die a few times & jump 🦘 into a gaming community & be like "Dur hay everyone guess what? this game sucks, it's so bad I died lots oh times to weaker enimies than me therefore the game must be bad, dur dur dur" Seriously you couldn't think to just heal yourself using potions & white mage healing or you know literally just level up some more? Those two things never accrued to you? Oh no nope it's because the game is bad right?

Its all about luck when it comes to Major Numerus.
Change Logo's for Machina Ranger for a 3x Impale team and if 1 knows Black Sky Numerus will go down in less than 45 sec.

Yeah Miracle Drink is more useful during Trema since his attacks interrupt the timer on the drink making it last up to a minute longer.

How can I get my creatures to stop using Momentum? It seems they prioritize that over Impale and Quick Attack, thanks!
I know 1 year late response, take off Garment Grid that's doing it. Use other GG like The End or Higher Power or Peerless, etc.
Or just use that garment grid that teaches the invincibility potion (miracle drink iirc) on anything that is auto-hasted

No some creatures learn it automatically like Logos. It can't be learned by an item or accessory

can only have 4 learnable abilities too make sure you have a free slot. first battle i did with logos (today actually) i got quick attack
cactuar cup....the cactuars use quick attack allot
Fight armoephous gel and when he hit u leaves u 1 health and logos will learn quick attack instant

Most of these are farmed during the endgame after you've already beaten the story since the Arena lets you fight whatever enemy.

That makes he gets White Wind, Full Life and Nova (to do more damage to Trema and Almighty Shinra, some people forgot that even Ultima and Flare make less damage then it), since Kimhari don't need much magic, Jump NEED to be on his attack, and using the same GG that Logos used, but using the Critical in White or Black Mage sphere, in the Blue Game one, that solve many problems about cast magics, if you need more use of magics (since Trema battle by that setting take at least 1 hour to beat with luck, turning impossible to lose even if he gets more then 2 Meteor skill by a strange bug in the International version in PS2), use Spellspings to nuliffy the use of MP cost, or just One MP Cost, by taking Bride Omega Weapon in the Exibition on Fiend Arena, using the Lady Luck Dressphere. Since you just get Last Resort GG IF you beat Almighty Shinra in Almighty Shinra's Cup, you need to use Lulu with Spellsprings, Black Magic Lv2, Magic Booster, Turbo Black Magic and Ribbon (You can change it to Auto-Protect or Auto-Wall if you have since she don't use White Magic, that don't cut in half and save you from som Flare or Quick Flare magics, and reduce the Meteor, Fireworks and Sparks damage a little if Max Magic Defense is up, even if don't need to worry with the Luck at 150 or much). From the atttacks, have at least one of the "furry" Overdrive she learn (Fire Furry is the best by damage on Almighty Shinra but its quitly irrelevated since there no much damage at all, kinda like 350-2500 depending on your critical luck, if you don't have Break Damage Limit on her not by GG), have Flare or Ultima at your arsenal, MP Absorb (That is the most important one, since she probably will not cast any PH attacks at enemies, and if no MP or don't have Spellsprings it could be a problem, so use it if you have One MP cost, can change to Magic Up if using the Spellsprings),Meteor (That makes lot of damage in Almighty Shinra if you low HP, that fits nice if you recive Ciclone attack or his Final Impact and your HP gets Yellow, since i remember by 9999, maybe 3000 or less make 5000 or more damage, if Break Damage Limit used in GG makes more then 9999, since is kinda 8 hits skill that fits nice) and Focus to up your magical damage faster, if Break Damage Limit used, is crazy because its take no limits to expand the damage and if alone and by gods luck you don't die, in amost 5 turns you just give more then 30000 damage on him and many more in Trema, since Trema give you no much than 1500 damage in basic attacks skills and 4000 damage in his Meteor at time, the only problem is that stupid old man have 999.999 HP and some PH and MG defense, but it fists well in Break Damage Limit.

You have to be playing either PS2 FFX-2 International (Japan only) *OR* PS3/PS4/Vita/PC Steam FFX+X2 HD Remaster.
1. Machina Leader can be caught with S/SP pod (target machina) at CH.5 Thunder Plain (after you open secret dungeon)
2. Machina Hunter can be caught with S/SP pod (target machina) at CH.2 to CH.5 in Bikanel Desert (CH.5 you need cactuar hollow unlocked and use SP pod)
3. Machina Ranger can be caught with S/SP pod (target machina) at CH.3 to CH.5 in Mi'hen Road (CH.5 you need to use SP pod)
How do you have 78 iron dukes and 30-40 of other rare af items i thought were 1 playthrough only?
When you defeat Major Numerus each head drops x5 Iron Dukes as a rare drop. Using the Ray of Hope Garment Grid (always rare drops) allows you to always get x20 Iron Dukes every time you defeat Major Numerus. Also some other accesories that you usually get once per playthrough can easily be obtained multiple times by winning cups (such as Key to Success, Adamantite, etc.)
You can do all of this for the most part on your first playthrough, new game plus is for the remainder of the monsters.

I know this comment is way too late and your team is very good against Numerus but it is definitely not the BEST! It cannot beat anything that is immune to physical attacks. Personally I use a Black Sky user (I use Lulu but Chocobo works well - anything works really). I know people say Fireworks or Ultima but Black Sky is superior because no WAIT effect on your impalers. 10 impale strikes during one Black Sky animation!? No competition!

I think so but there are multiple items to heal mp or make the cost zero so it's not that useful

Kill major numerous. he drops enterprises and invicibilities as common drops and 5 iron dukes each as rare drops

@@RogueEggman You can kill Major numerous with yuna, Rikku and Paine: Have one of the characters with Alchemist dressphere and an accessory or garment grid that give her First Strike ability. With your alchemist, you mix Dark Matter with a potion (you get Dark Matter by killing Trema) and it will make your party invincible to damage; switch your alchemist to Mascot (have everyone with Mascot, which has ribbon effect) so now you are also immune to status. Then attack major numerous until he dies, it will take a while; but it is sure win.
This video is about making a super party that can overcome everything wih ease: no 30 minutes fights, no using dark matters. My only problem with this party is in shinra cup, some guys are immune to quick attack and impale, so the fight is stuck until i have them running away.
just one machina can kill major numerous. you'd need to get it's HP maxed and feed it some shmooth sailing to get the defense/magic defense/strength to 255. at that point, some star manipulation during the fight would be more than enough.
I have max level characters and cannot beat nooj in youth league he gets off too many attacks before I can even setup wtf

Crimzon Ninja just focus on the multiplier, i got it the first try with one inside coin and two outside coins, like 5 or 6 times in a row, it compounds the points, just keep doing the same number of outside coins

This team's good, but it won't beat everything. You'll hit a wall with the Aeshmas. It's best to always have a Black Sky user for the Fiend World and Farplane Cups.

Impale ignores defense, so it helps.
In fact logos only job is to help the machina chain their attacks and thus do insane amounts of damage. No real damage from logos actually.
this game is so bad .. i picked up the remaster duo pack because i always wanted to play the one with the girls .. everyone says "oh man it's so easy"./.. its not. i get killed off every time around level 20.
it's a JRPG, it's not "bad" cause of game design it's because you suck. You die alot because you suck as a player. Suck.
The enemies are always a couple levels under you, yeah genius you die around level 20? That means enemies weaker than you kill you because you never bothered using your brain 🧠 🚫. It's called leveling up 🎚️to become stronger so you don't die. Even at low levels you get a white mage dresssphere that heals you early in game.
You're the type of player to buy a game, not use your brain 🧠 🚫 die a few times & jump 🦘 into a gaming community & be like "Dur hay everyone guess what? this game sucks, it's so bad I died lots oh times to weaker enimies than me therefore the game must be bad, dur dur dur"
Seriously you couldn't think to just heal yourself using potions & white mage healing or you know literally just level up some more? Those two things never accrued to you? Oh no nope it's because the game is bad right?
