Hello there Ian Sorry for the delay I’ve been quite busy recently. It’s nice to see I’m not the only one who muddles up words and has to re film, it’s quite reassuring actually. Happy new year. Nat🚂👍
Happy New Year Nat! No problem, we all have real world lives to live! :) Haha! I've definitely done enough of these videos to muddle up my words less frequently than I used to, but the odd three or four muddles still seem to happen every time I film myself! Lol! All the best, Ian.
Hi Ian, This was a really nice ending to the year, loved the 5 mole motor 🤣🤣🤣. You are certainly more organised than me, I just go by the seat of my pants and probably blabber on too much LOL! Enjoy your break and have a Happy New Year! 🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈. All the best Tony.
Happy New Year to you Tony! Thank you! Maybe more mole power is required? If I didn't script my videos they'd all be about 90 minutes long, with half an hour of bloopers in each one! Lol! All the best for 2025, Ian.
It's easy to get in a muddle when discussing flogs 🐸 and puddles 🤭 but a five mole motor, definitely seems under powered 😫 Happy New Year from the Emerald Isle ☘️
Hi Ian, oh the life of a UA-camr! I don’t think I could show any of my bloopers because the excessive swearing is very bad! I usually delete the outage immediately too! It’s quite obvious to me too that some of the stuff we purchase have very tongue twisty names! Brilliant way to end the year Ian, Happy New Year mate, cheers, John
Good morning John, and Happy New Year again! Thank you! Don't worry though mate, I've got plenty of bloopers with me swearing, just thought I'd better not post them here! I tend to save footage with outtakes as I'm filming throughout the year, and delete the rest! I don't understand why I always seem to write tongue-twisters into my scripts! I mean, I should really know better by now! Lol! All the best for 2025, Ian.
Hi Ian, 48 videos is a great achievement and with that many videos you will have a blooper or three! I must admit I do have a lot of start off bloopers but once I get into a flow I just tend to run with it unless I make a big error 😂😉! Good to see the bloopers a welcome joy of UA-cam 😂 Cheers Gary
Good morning Gary! Thank you! Yes, I average about fifty bloopers per video! Lol! I don't always shoot video when I'm recording the audio though! As I script my videos I shouldn't really have any bloopers, but my inability to read out loud obviously hampers me somewhat! Lol! Looking forward to your next update! All the best mate! Ian
Thanks very much for your video’s in 2024. Highly informative and entertaining. Can’t wait for your journey in 2025 with the layout. Good luck with the tricky bit and hope to see much more of you in the future.
And thank you very much for watching, I'm glad you're enjoying the channel! Hopefully there'll be lots of new things to see in the coming 12 months, including finishing off that darn Tricky Bit! You'll probably have to wait until the next bloopers reel before I show my face again though! Lol! Happy New Year, and all the best for 2025! Ian
Happy New Year Michael! Thanks for your kind words! I'm really glad that you've enjoyed the videos! I may get another couple of videos out before my break, but we'll see! All the best for 2025, Ian.
Happy New Year Dave! Hehe! I don't appear on the channel very regularly, other than my random hands, but have done before! I definitely have fun making these videos, but it can also be a frustrating process at times too! All the best for 2025, Ian.
Morning Ian, I sympathise with my 2 channels. When I'm out on the golf course and say something to camera and then forget what I was meant to be saying it usually ends up with a bo!!ocks. When doing voice over I run into the next clip before I have finished saying what I'm saying. It's all good fun. Happy New Year and better luck reading the script this year! Although experience tells me it will be same sh!t - different video. I wonder why I use some royalty free music? At least it shuts me up for a minute. Simon🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good morning Simon, and Happy New Year again! Haha! I have plenty of outtakes with me swearing, but thought better of posting them here! I tend to write my scripts to fit the footage, so I don't have a problem with overruns, but it sometimes happens, which is why I take lots of photos to fill the gaps! :) But yeah, it'll all happen again this year... All the best, Ian.
@@iansngauge I remember one video I did. It started with my usual 'Good Morning' followed by 10 seconds of blank face and 'bo11ocks'. It took me 3 goes to get it right. I put the failed attempts at the end of the video where most people had already clicked away. Have you ever done a big segment and then realised you never hit record on the camera? That is a pain. Anyway, jobs to do. Best of luck this year. Simon
@@ngaugeonashelf4417 - Haha! Yes, that sounds familiar! Oh those times when you think you've pressed the record button, but haven't! It's okay if you're just filming something you can do again, but I've done it where the content was supposed to be the main part of the video, and involved glueing stuff down, so I couldn't repeat it! The times when the battery dies and you don't notice are also pretty annoying! Argh! Thanks Simon, best of luck to you too! Ian
I assume you had no trouble remembering your name this year, then? 😉 I regularly mess-up what I'm saying when recording, though I've got better at knowing what's likely to trip me up, and have re-written bits of script during recording a few times! Happily I haven't had to do anything with a Gaugemaster Capacitor Discharge Unit this year - I just can't say that one! It's been great watching in 2024 - I look forward to 2025's raft of videos 🙂 Enjoy your break from video production, and a Happy New Year to you!
Happy New Year to you too Jonathan! Haha! Yes, I've finally got my name remembered, and can even say it properly sometimes! For some reason I keep writing tongue-twisters into my scripts, and don't notice until I try and speak them out loud! Lol! Well, I said I was taking a break, but I'm currently working on a review of 2024 video that should be out next week! Then I'll take a break, unless I make the "Plans for 2025" video I've been jotting notes down for a while! Then there's more New Arrivals turned up already this year! Oh, and I've got to fit that sound decoder to the class 128 - not to mention fiddle with those AE model autofrogs - and then there's putting the DCC bus into some sort of order! Argh! I just can't help myself! Lol! All the best for 2025, Ian.
Definitely! All of my videos are scripted - otherwise they'd all be Bloopers in themselves! Lol! Happy New Year, and thanks for watching and regularly commenting! All the best for 2025, Ian.
