  • Sorry for the bad video. Tried putting together whatever I had in my phone.
Started on this beginning of 2018, finished end of 2019. Sold it right before pandemic for $45k. AS IS.
Needed to be repainted. My mechanic messed up the whole car. Scratched all around and banged the rear corner to the wall. And he didn’t even do a good job on the mechanical. Wasn’t running perfect.
At the time, if all was good, was worth about $60. Now at least 90.
Cant wait to start another one. Next one will be better.

Excellent work your gaps are perfect in that metallic silver is one of the hardest to apply

Man… I’ve been in the paint and body industry for over 20 years. Let me tell you, great work on those gaps! Super crisp and clean! Great work man. I wish I had the space to do one of these notchback to fastback conversions.

Thank you brother. I’m very picky when it comes to the lines of the car, and you should know how difficult it is on these older cars. Especially when using aftermarket parts.

Yessir I do! I worked 9 years in a resto shop. Ppl don’t understand how hard it is to get modern day gaps on classic cars.

I was expecting to see Nicolas Cage setting in the driver's side seat at the end when you opened the passenger door!

Nice build! It came out great! I'm surprised you didn't use any bracing inside. Seems like everyone braces it up before they cut the sides off. I guess it didn't effect it though

Nicely done. First time I’ve seen a complete Dynacore fastback side replaced. Seems like most go from the windshield A pillar back. Oh, and I love the front splitter you added. Definitely a nice addition!

EVERY-1 avoids putting in the 1 pc door structures ,with the rocker and all.I'd like to know if there was any regret with going that way.

Not at all. This kit is more expensive, maybe the reason.
This was actually the first time I did this conversion and in my opinion this way it’s much easier and faster.
No regrets at all, job came out perfect as you can see in the video. All the lines matching perfectly. Of course a lot of that has to do with the person doing the job, but if they know what they’re doing, shouldn’t have any issues.

You can google for whatever you’re looking for. There are many companies that sell old mustang parts. I wouldn’t know prices sorry. It’s been a while and I’m sure prices have changed.
Cjponyparts.com is one I can think of.
Dynacorn.come is another, you’d have a have an active account to buy from them.
You can also get most of the stuff on eBay. Sometimes eBay’s is the cheapest option.
      Thanks.
