This is exactly the type of Mustang we all wish we had in our garages. This man decided to just build it. If only we could get some Ford executive down to his shop and explain this is all you need. This is the body style we love. Don’t complicate things. No we don’t want more crap some engineer wants to design. The 67-68 body style is what we want.
hell yeah brotha.
Yet you’re wrong , yes maybe some people like old mustangs , but think of the big market , much more people would want a modern looking car
SBworks 67-68 is a modern looking car as far as I’m concerned...67-68 body style with modern engine and suspension and electrics...can’t go wrong...these would sell like hot cakes
mercedes oh yeah know , im not saying noone would buy them , but i would say they would sell the same amount as the mustang of now , mainly because they wouldnt have an ecoboost or v6 version
SBworks people would still buy them with 6 cyl and 4 cyl engines...I don’t think you know but back when these 60’s cars were new...you could get fastbacks with straight 6’s...compared to the v8 all show and no go...even though the modern 4 cyl and 6 cyl ecoboost engines are just a tune away from keeping up with/ outrunning the new 5.0’s...even from mopar you could buy challengers, dusters, chargers etc with 6 cylinder or base v8 engines that were marketed as fuel economy versions if they didn’t offer a straight 6 back then...people will buy them more nowadays with the smaller engines due to higher gas prices compared to the old days...the market is only there if you create it
That's a stunning mustang build. The body work is absolutely amazing. Well done sir.
Agreed! And that Fastback Stang isnt overdone so a person wouldn't regret putting any miles on it either!! Its perfect.
Agreed. It's the most amazing '67 mustang. Simply stunning!
But just don't name it elenor...!!
Beautiful!
Yeah
Dang dude. At least the builder is realistic about the coyote’s output. That’s refreshing.
This guy built one of the best looking Mustangs I've ever seen. Nothing is overdone and everything is tastefully done. I would not change a thing about it. Props to such a talented builder!
Agreed all the way. He’s got class and talent
Look how Art blended the line of the quarter panel into the line of his totally unique spoiler. I love detail like that. Congratulations comrade you have serious skills.
Guarantee you one thing, Randy: Art is definitely NOT a "comrade" in the Communist sense. In my experience, Russian folks who have emigrated to the U.S.A. are, to a person, ANTI-communist/socialist.
@@alanhardman2447 Socialism and communism are pretty different you know. Compared to the US, certain things in the UK could be seen as socialist, but in the scheme of things the UK isn't very socialist. Neither am I, too, but there's a difference between the two.
Under communism man exploits man, under socialism it's just the other way around
in the late 1960's, there was a company making a similar spoiler/trunk lid. It wasn't Cal Custom, but someone along that line. The market had made a ton of cosmetic stuff for the Corvair since it was a youth market, but when the Corvair fell out of favor and the Mustang replaced it, there was a lot of stuff--bumper guards shaped like horseshoes in JC Whitney, etc.
as for communism, to say the entire Soviet Union had the same viewpoint is like saying every American is a liberal because they give lip service to freedom of speech, assembly, and other individual rights. When the bolsheviks tried to import Marxism, they had a problem--it was a historical theory based on industrial societies deciding to join together rather than accept division by capitalists...and Russia was still feudal as could be in 1917.
That spolier is a solid look!
Came from Russia, now living the American Dream! Right on man!
speaks fantastic english, too. just goes to show that success can be made through hard work and great ideas.
@@oftankoftan But still with accent =)
@@dmitrytannill7436 what's wrong with that!
@@dmitrytannill7436 это точно)
@@oftankoftan English is a joke, my dad came here for college with 0 English, was fluent 2 years later, kids also in the slums of Liberia speak English.
"if you break something, I'll fix it"
What an alpha male thing to say. Love this guy
He’s really cool and I loved that response too
I laughed my ass off when he said
That's my q to leave some rubber. If don't come back with rubber on the quarter panel can't call a test drive....gay
what up with that long throw shifter too
That's not alpha male. That's a laid back confident professional. Alpha males are insecure children.
@@kstars101 correction: people who proclaim they're alpha are insecure children. That much is correct.
I’m a Mustang fanatic. That to me is one of the best looking built mustangs….EVER!
DAM!! This mustang got to be one of the sexiest I've seen on UA-cam in awhile. The body panel and fender flares are well proportioned and not overly done. Love that it has a coyote not another boring Junkyard LS swap.
Artie Rodriguez right and they don’t have the ugly bolts on fenders
lmao im building a 1000hp 5.3l iron 3gen ls for my 1967fastback there way cheaper then a coyote also it fits like a glove no removing shock towers.
@@thewanderer899sorry bruh, don't really care for LS in Mustangs regardless if it's a junkyard swap LS. Maybe I'm biased because I have a coyote boosted whipple.
@@coyoteslugger3936 A supercharger boosted by an engine, huh? That's one I hadn't heard of before. Got any build details?
@@thewanderer899 the coyote is nice too though and holds a lot of power on stock internals, great engine that loves boost.
Blows Eleanor out of the water! The design touches are quite breathtaking. Absolutely gorgeous. Prettiest 67 I've ever seen
Be careful saying the E word. Might get sued. Just keeping an eye out for you lol
@@Dot-Ee 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Definitely wayyyyy better then Eleanor!
@@319speed i didn't like Eleanor's chrome grilla
Nah Eleanor is still the best looking Mustang. This isn't bad though
Had a 67 in 67 this is by far one of if not the nicest ones I've seen thanks, great sight and sound
Man, that Mustang looks & sounds great! I'm a sucker for a Coyote swap & the '67s too, so it was a real treat to see & hear how this one came together.
The craftsmanship in his builds are amazing, that rear trunk design is gorgeous! Man's got talent.
Many different talents that car builders have.
"Unique, Beautiful and IT WORKS!" That sums it up perfecftly.
This has to be one of the best looking fast back Mustangs I’ve seen. I love how wide and lean it looks. Incredible job 👍👍
UPbuild I agree, art really nailed it on this one
Man thats one badass 67 Coyote swap Mustang brother.
This guy as some great taste. I love that he went natural aspiration modern stock motor with sub 500 hp. No overkill on the powertrain. Great build
"Don't worry, if you break something I'll fix it." That's an awesome life philosophy to live by.
Very tastefully done!! There's nothing over the top like extreme flares, super-wide tires, or a huge spoiler like you see every once in a while. The proportions and the detail work are just excellent. Shawn, I'd keep an eye on Art's shop. I'll bet you'll find more interesting projects come from his place in the future...
That was sick! I like the unique touches! Nice job! Glad you showed a Mustang today being the 56th Anniversary of the Mustang.
Theres an old lady where I live and she drives a 67 Shelby GT500 and its all original all matching numbers and it has right 30,000 original miles on it. It awesome to see it.
That’s so cool!
This has to be the coolest looking Mustang I've seen for a long, long time. Every where you look it has great angles, the duck tail is a work of art. There's nothing I don't like about it and that's rare for me to say.
I've seen several old school works, but the hood on this stang is hands down the best I've seen yet!
This build is cool and it’ll get better too. He’s still working out some bugs and details
I love the trunk lid too, great lines.
It's clean and the most original looks I've ever seen. This is how it should be.
Really nice body shape with the own identity that’s really cool to get something genuine and original in the mean time !!!
I’m either driving or watching autotopia videos, getting inspired to rip around. Dope car.
67 fast back Stang, best looking Mustang ever !!!!!!!!!!!
hi B V...
'
good car but not safety on the rear
If you break something I’ll fix it. I love this dude, that’s awesome.
Из России с любовью!!!
I have no words. American classic initially looks very brutal and beautiful. So filigree to emphasize the dignity of the design of that era and add charisma and style to the car and not spoil it - this is a great skill of the master.
That is flat out the most beautiful and complimentary resto-mod of that body style that I’ve ever seen! Very good taste and vision!
He’s a talented one for sure
I like it. It's well thought out and everything marries with everything else on the car. He hasn't gone overboard, kept much of the car as stock as possible but it's the extra touches that make it modern but also original at the same time. You never want too much to make the car look out of place.
He nailed it! Beautiful look! Awesome sound! I’d be proud to drive that
And for the first few days, just a liiiittle bit afraaid of it 😎
Absolutely beautiful. If I hit the lottery EVER, I am finding this guy for a custom build. WOW! So humble of a dude. Master craftsmanship. What a great build by a great Coyote of a guy.
One of the best stanced widebody Mustang I've ever seen...flares, eight and width it's just perfect, and that ducktail spoiler looks ace, very tasteful. Congrats to this guy
Agreed all the way. Creative cool build and really nice guy. Looking forward to more from Art
Amazing made it his own. I have many Russian friends in the car industry and they’re all very talented individuals with a lot of creativity
Thank you Autotopia for showcasing this beautiful build and introducing us to an individual who is takes pride in his work.
I love his statement of don’t worry if something breaks I’ll fix it
Such a cool talented hard working guy! This car is beautiful
One of the most badass mustangs I've seen and I've been owning mustangs since 1989
Yep. He’s done a great job with this build and still in progress. Talented young builder imo
like everyone else who says they aren't a Ford guy, this Mustang is outrageous and I would turn my back on MoPar to own this ride.
I like the guy who built this!
I had a 67 mustang fast back. Red on red with a 289 and bucket seats. Every time I see projects like this i MISS that car, even more than I otherwise do. Which is often a lot.
This mustang looks so damn good! It all works perfectly together! And the stance is to die for! Dude is super talented!
I think what really "Makes" the car is that the proportions are just perfect!! The rear spoiler is unique, fits the overall image, and completes the rear view just right!
everything about this mustang works because of its understated beauty, talented young man!!!
“ if you break something I fix it “ 😎
That thing is GORGEOUS!
He nailed it. It needs nothing else. It is perfect. Well done sir.
"If you break something, I'll fix it." Cool guy and a great work he did with that Mustang. Congrats tavarish!
now this is by far my favorite build... so clean and OEM+ almsot a EURO look to it.. almost dare I say GT3 Touring style
I agree with you on styling. Some Euro elements for sure
The duck tail reminded me of the Mk1 Ford Capri RS 3100 Cosworth...Absolute monster of a machine....beautiful

The best Mustang I've seen so far
Nicest 67 resto mod build I've seen. Its not to slammed, not to gaudy looking with massive flares and stupid airo and crap. Not to wide with some balloon knot looking paint scheme. Just a nice clean well built Stang. And this is coming from a guy who hates fords.
That is a SIIICK car man 💯
The exhaust 🤤
Agreed. Very cool build and talented young builder with real work ethic
This 1967 mustang fastback is gorgeous 😍♥️💯
This car couldn't have looked better. The pinnacle of creativity... perfection. Amazing.
Love this comment!
One of my favorite fastback builds for sure.
Baddest fastback Mustang I've seen thus far. Well done sir!!
He nailed it on this one. Just needs a little more power but what a killer build!
That trunk lid looks so good!
I've been a Mustang enthusiast since my dad bought one in 1965 and I have owned 7 including 2013 Boss 302 and 2016 GT350. This is by far the most impressive older Mustang I have ever seen.
Agreed...such a class build
Awesome Mustang, and the work and creativity and competance to build a car like this, is absolutely perfect. - Start produce it !!! - It will be a great sucsess !!!
The PURRrr before the gear ⚙️ shifts is all i wanna hear all day.
Simply beautifull a master piece , greetings from Mexico !! 👍
Not a huge early mustang guy, but god damn this thing is gorgeous, absolutely well done man 👌
The 67 Mustang Fastback has always been one of my faves and never thought it could be improved on. Until now. This one's a beauty.
Same for me. 67-68 are my favs and this one is really cool
The Shoemaker has no shoes but when he finally gets a pair God damn! an amazing car!
If you believe in God you shouldn't use his name in vain
@@BigVision1 are you really laughing out loud or are you just one of those weirdos that says LOL
WoW I love it this guy builds an absolute beauty of a Mustang n let's someone else drive it n says don't worry if you break something I'll just fix it.... what A LEGEND. Great car great channel FULL SEND U.K. stay Safe
Thanks for the comments! He’s a cool talented young builder and I loved his “I’ll fix it” response too! 👊
Most Beautiful 67 Fastback Stang I've ever seen!..... Its something a person can jump in and immerse themselves in......Just beautiful!!!
This is one of the nicest 67’s that I have seen in a long time.
Hands down prettiest car I've ever seen on this show 👌🏼
Mr Tattoo 66 chevelle? Or was it a 67?? You gotta be a ford guy.. nothing wrong with that.. because I almost totally agree with you... smashing ride!!
@@pablocruise678i love all American muscle cars , what make they are doesn't bother me if it looks gd I don't look at the badge 👍🏼
Thats the coolest Mustang Ive ever seen!!!.......And its not overdone so a person couldn't drive it like you stole it either!
the sound of this car insane , the car is gorgeous beautiful and dam man love this dream car. what a beauty man.
Sure is and the builder Art is as cool. Talented young builder that built not only a car but a dream
My god, this is probably one of the most beautiful and badass Mustangs I've ever seen
That`s a great-looking Mustang. Well done Art, you have good taste :)
One of the cleanest mustangs I’ve seen!
Awesome car. Great job with it. The look kinda reminds me of the old school Can/Am race cars from back in the day. Very cool.
It's crazy how a mustang like this can be more desirable than most exotic cars. Such an icon.
I’m with you here and would take this over most exotics
Very beautiful version of Mustang, and that engine sounds great 😎🤟🏻
Very nice build, everything flows perfectly 👌
Agreed all the way
I would of loved that back in the 70’s.
I’d love this one anytime
This is masterpiece. Beautiful white colour
Agreed all the way
That is the best looking Mustang I have ever seen.
This is the Mustang that Ford should've been building all along...
I wish!
@David Sanchez just tel me why not? Why you all guys pretend that newer cars are more beautiful than older ones? I understand the aerodynamics but c'mon, just make interior 2020 look but give us this exterior!!!
@David Sanchez, I'ts obvious you don't know much about cars, much less have an appreciation for the classic...so you can go get into your little mazda and zip away now...
this is the most beutiful mustang i have ever seen, a big like sir
I'm a corvette man at heart truly. But that is the nicest mustang I've ever seen. I would own this for sure
That thing is perfect, I would not change anything. It's awesome how easy he takes on it shifting gears, that transmission does not take beating too well, that's exactly how I treat mine most of the time. You can see the love and respect he has to that car. He's been building it for 6 years! That's a lot of time, dedication and patience and of course skills to match.
It’s a masterpiece !!
Another great guest another great car. You've got a great program going on this is not the first time I've seen this video and it probably won't be the last.👍
Thanks and I agree. Really enjoyed our time with Art and think he’s a great builder as well as being a really nice guy
If it looks good in white, you nailed it. And man does this look good.
This looks so clean, with great flowing lines and perfect proportions. He did an awesome job on that!
This mustang is wicked he did a perfect job perfect car.
I'm not even much of a Mustang guy, but damn, she's gorgeous.
Agree the white on that car looks insane
A classic supercar mustang. The timeless style and personal build styling. Love the flares, wheels, sound of the badass coyote, the spoiler! Looks better than any new GT350 or Shelby. Unbelievably great!!!!!
What an awesome '67 Fastback.... My dad had one when we were growing up, 4spd with a 289, great car. The job that Art has done to this one, my favorite Mustang body style, is phenomenal. The fender flares and spoiler make that Mustang stand out and look so cool. With a Coyote motor in it you can drive that '67 hard all day long. I've had both a '14 GT and a '16 GT with the Coyote motors both were custom tuned and fast. Would luv to have Art's for my weekend warrior. Only can only dream.
Great comment and yeah, I love what’s he’s done to this car. Style, taste and great execution on this badass ‘67
I need to learn how to do fiberglass work...This thing is CLEAN.
One of the most badass 67 fastbacks I've seen. Love the flare job too. It doesn't look like some ricer car from a fast and the furious movie.
His taste and execution on the flares are perfect. You could easily screw this up and look Liberty walk/rocket bunny river crap easily. He nailed it here!
Wow... That's so F'n AWESOME! Got the headphones on, and the engine and exhaust nodes are again, F'n AWESOME!
Yeah, this is a badass build and still in progress
The stance from the side is perfect. The rake, the distance, front and back, between the wheels an flairs. And the ducktail is amazing. Looks so simple, but at the same time so smart and well executed. Reminds me a little of a porsche ducktail..
“420 or something like this”. Absolutely love it. Bad ass car and an even more badass builder.
He’s such a cool guy and talented. How about 420 and this? 👊
Красота! Отличный Мустанг!)
Ooof, she's a beauty. I've loved '67-68 Fastbacks since I was a kid in the '70's. Those fenders and rear spoiler are perfectly proportioned. Not too much, just right. Great work, Art!
He really got it right on the flares and yeah, very talented young builder
Very beautiful Pony !!!
Great talented man to think out of the box to create his special vision.
God, I would love to have that car as my old man retiree's dream car.
My high school hot rod was a 68 Ford Torino GT notchback, 390 high performance, 4 spd.
Many kudos to the builder and also showing that beautiful car.
04:07 car on background moving backwards =)
wicked widebody, that thing would be an killer daily to piss off prius owners
.....Prius owners wouldn't even register.....Fruck'em.
You know, even environmentalists like myself can appreciate something like this Mustang.
I like that it sounds properly angry.
Do you really think all Prius owners get angry when they see a gas burning car that has money invested into it? What kind of comment is that, lmao.
nobody who owns a prius gives a shit about any mustang
boomers love to pretend that everything they do offends people when almost nobody ever cares
The detail work on this car is exceptional, execution color combo and the drivetrain is all the right stuff! He is so low key and humble, but man does he have some serious talent and build capabilities! Keeping shooting these beasts and we’ll keep watching.....you got the best job ever!
I can’t believe the handbrake lever looks the way it does after all the work you’ve put into this car!!!
