I woulda liked seeing more LTD models. It’s frustrating how expensive guitars have gotten, especially up here in Canada where the difference between the US dollar and our dollar becomes magnified as Instruments go up In cost. And things already feel like they’re 200-300 more than they were a few years ago on top of it. And I love the brand, but the availability of models the last few years hasn’t been good either and now the prices are hurting them too
The Snow White E-II M-II looks incredible - I have a similar LTD with a painted neck but I love the look and feel of unfinished necks!

Yes! You should do a small vid of what it was like designing you’re signature G-tar. How the contact or call went. The excitement. What you wanted. Is there a certain amount they produce? Like did you have an idea in mind or a dream set up? Etc etc. I think that would be a great vid. Give us some tips just incase one of your followers gets endorsed.
They all seem killer. The gary holt really catches my eye. I’m digging all the matte finishes instead of the gloss, especially on the necks. I didn’t notice any bolt on necks either. Very cool!🤘
That BK 600 in Silver Burst is straight FIRE. Might have to get one of them.

The Candy red I'd go with and the Gary Holt V. It's nice to do some window shopping Rob. One but can only dream of having any of them guitars. And also the E II Arrow was really nice with the fixed bridge. I can see what you with guitars getting fitted with evertune bridges and fishman pick ups.
That mh1000 is my top but all are sick this year🤘🏻Stephens signatures are always a good buy for the price too👊🏼😁

Volsung Viper 200, E2 Viper and Carpenter Tele 7 are my favorites.
Love the SCT 7 string, its heavier than hell but plays great! Also, im definitely in lobe with the Mercury Blue.
Would love that Hetfield signature V with an upside down headstock!

The Sparrowhawk was definitely the coolest on the line up.
No fret inlays or dots is such an awesome look, so much that i actually had a custom neck made that cost me an arm and a leg because i literally couldnt find what i was looking for and if i did it was SOLD ten years ago on Reverb in a different country haha.
That M-1000 and M-II are both guitars I'd love to have. M-1000 is more in my price range though. I have been wanting a EC-1000 CTM for a few years. I also really want one of the Kirk Hammett V guitars too

Omg, ESP killed it this year🫣, thats gonna cost me🥺. I pretty much agreed taste wise with your top 3 as well, although I would threw in one of the eclipses, especially that full thickness evertune one🤟💪what a beauty.
1-the White e2, M with floyd
2-eclipse e2, FT black and gold
3-M e2 mercury burst
I love the Eclipse, and all of the ones here are great. I’d probably lean towards the tiger eye sunburst one.
The prices though are a bit high for me.
I was lucky to pick up an ‘04 4-knob ESP Eclipse a few years back for a great price.
These days I probably have to stick to the LTDs, although the 1000 series (and even the 400) are great guitars too.
I'm a sucker for the wood grain finishes, they look so good. I also like the inlays on the Kirk Hammett guitar, and I agree, gotta go with the black sparkle if you're going with that model. I like the more aggressive style body on the James Hetfield V. Thanks for running through all the new models!!

The Candy Apple Red LTD M-1000 is my fav! I haven't even owned an ESP guitar in many years (been playing most Jacksons for a long time). I pre-ordered it already. Hopefully doesn't take too long to arrive!

I got an update from my ESP rep that it won't arrive till 2024 now. I pre-ordered in April and had to put down the full price to order 😕.
Loving the BK-600 (not loving the new price), and big fan of the new candy apple finish Horizon/M models. Getting major Page Hamilton vibes off them!
The E-II M-II HT looks fantastic, it would be my choice from this 2023 lineup but the price is not so fantastic. :) The stainless steel frets finally appeared on the E-IIs.
Definitely loving all the different E-II options for '23...my pick 3 would have to be from the Eclipse series; the Tiger Eye Sunburst, the Black Cherry Sunburst, and of course the Charcoal Burst w/FR. Currently, I'm loving my ESP Horizon NT...but, looking forward to the future. Thanks for giving me G.A.S. Rob. 🤣

I just traded my Ibanez rg5320 prestige for a 2023 ltd m-1000 in candy apple red... lol i also got an Ibanez q52 in the trade so it's all good. No joke. I like the playability of the ltd/ Ibanez q52 better. I wasn't meshing with the rg5320 and I knew i was going to trade/sell it. I was really wanting a kiesel, but a thought hit me suddenly. Why trade for one when i could get 2 that play just as well? You need to make sure your import was made in one of the good factories, but the imports have caught up.

If I had to choose my top-3 from the new lineup it will be this:
1. E-II M-II Black Natural Burst
2. E-II Viper See Thru Black Cherry(but I would prefer it better without the pickguard)
3. Ltd M-1000 Candy Apple Red Satin
I love the M series as much as the SG/Viper style. In fact the SG style was the first one I fell in love with when I was a kid. And a fan fact: when I saw live video of Chimaira back in the day and saw you with your signature superstrat and Matt with his signature Viper it was one of the coolest images of a band I ever saw. It was that time that I started to really dig your music I think.😉 And btw you are definitely right! That E-II M-II Black Natural Burst is one of the sickest guitars I’ve ever seen too! 😉

All guitars are raise the prices nowadays. But what esp do with those specs? A guitars for 2300-2800 bucks have not original Floyd, but Floyd 1000 or 1000se... esp just why?
Ive always only played Jackson but im on the fence about to pull the trigger on the LTD M 1000 in all white with black fishmans vs one of the new pro plus Jackson DKAQs. Should I try my first LTD or stick to Jackson? Its a tough as nails choice.
I think you definitely should! M-1000's are my favorite guitars!

The ESP eclipse with the evertune is on the way, bought it yesterday unseen as almost all of my guitars😂. Cant wait to show it. Next one will be the white "M" with the floyd. The eclipse I will put in drop C, after powertrip learning I am down again.

I most certainly am! I have many ltd's, and also many ESP Custom shop guitars. I could play ANY of them confidently on any given day. They're all top notch. 🤘

Thru nt = Through neck, no tremolo
I bought a LTD MH-1000 was so disappointed, horrible solder work which left the bridge pickup not working and the Floyd Rose was mounted crooked. Ended up getting a E-II Horizon instead for almost the same amount of money. LTD has always been a benchmark for quality reasonable priced guitars but tbh I'm so disappointed in the quality I'm not sure I will buy another new LTD again. The E-II is flawless though. Same quality as my ESP Eclipse Standard and my other ESP Horizon.
Great video. That E-II Arrow NT is an AMAZING guitar. It absolutely blew my mind. I can totally see what that money goes into. If you ever get the chance. Check one out. And I'm like you. I'm a Strat shape guy. Actually I'm an "Old" guy. My favorite guitar that we have is my 1960 Fender Stratocaster. So that ESP E-II Arrow is way out of my wheelhouse.
I would love to find one of the Classic "Fender" like ESP Models that you reviewed. I think it's one of your gig guitars you are taking. The R-4 or 5. I have got to go back and watch that again.

As someone that owns Jackson, BC Rich, Charvel etc guitars and looking to get into ESP it kind of frustrates me that I have to pay over $2000 to get an ESP logo on an M-2. I'm the kind of buyer that will get a Korean made guitar and trick it out with my own hardware/pickups so I don't find the super high end models too valuable.
That said I do like the LTD m-2 with candy apple red, if it had an ESP logo on it, I would have bought it already.
Rob sell me your black Strat body/headstock style ESP with the skulls. I like the standard headstock configuration ! 😉

With all due respect to Papa Het, I've never been able to get into the Vulture. Les, is the name. Why do people pronounce it Lez? I noticed this often when it's coming from someone who doesn't care for them. Antique silverburst Lez Pauls are something you see in your grandpa's basement? And a V with pink pickups is more betterer? The EC-1000 is the best selling model, and antique silverburst is really popular right now. Hey, to each his own. I prefer single cuts, and more traditional body shapes. The whole package has to be tight. Most of the new models are spec'd with either an Evertune or Fishmans or both. Right now I'm on the hunt for an affordable 24.75" scale, dual humbucker guitar to swap the pickups out of my AJ sig. from Epiphone into. I'm leaning towards a neck through construction with a hardtail. The SG Modern I had a few years ago would be a great candidate.

the only ltd worthy of its price the recent years is the ESP LTD M-1007B ET CRSB, all the new ltds suck and they are way overpriced with medium quality, materials, and poor QC. defiinitely not worth it anymore

@@thatoneguybones8036 lets see, the problems in their QC as for the LTDs are a fact and you can search in every group or forums about it, secondly wood choices we used to have full thickness maple tops with selected wood patterns for the see-thru models, now we get venners (confirmed by esp email) and scrap maple on many models. The proper ebony that even the ec401 used to have not to mention the 1000 series (hell even harley benton now uses proper ebony) is now replaced by Macassar ebony which is way cheaper and on many models they even paint it/stain it to look more dark. 3-4 years back i could get a guitar with a 4A quality full thickness maple top,mother of pearl inlays, proper ebony and single body piece of mahogany not glued together for like 1200-1300 and made in the USA. Tell me then how these new ones now are not overpriced and dropped in quality. If you dont then we agree to disagree

Roasted jatoba is an alternative to rosewood, rosewood has been going up in price and jatoba is very very similar and cheaper than rosewood

@@RobArnoldWorld also magascar ebony is a rare committee and is illegal to sell in some places because the tree it's harvested from is endangered. It may not be anymore. Also, the green emg logo on Kirk's pickups are on all his emgs as part of his signature set I think called the bone crusher. Which I think looks sick. I'm an ebony and maple guy, but I had a ltd ec256 with roasted jatoba and I preferred it to every rosewood fretboard I've played. Wasn't quite as grainy as rosewood and looked better. One last thing rob, please get the guitar with bare knuckles. You gotta try those, insanely responsive pickups with tons of output and saturation for chords. Sorry for the text wall Rob.
