Interesting to see your work environment in its early stage when you still had only limited tools. But that didn't stop you from performing miracles. Great work.
I'm pretty certain that Mr. Carter would most definitely approve of that mitre plane! Amazing work sir, your uploads are always inspiring! Looking forward to your next build! Be well!
Very nice and detailed make. Excellent handmade piece of work!!! I really wonder why are there these 25 dislikes!!! People are sometimes very envious and jealous!
Enjoy your presentations very much. Also it a great source of information for me. I have recently made a block plane and a shoulder plane. Because of your presentations I have plans drawn for others. Thanks again.
@@StavrosGakos I've just re-watched this after 2 years. Looks like you learnt a lot on this project and your skills have come a long way since after seeing your most recent video. Congratulations brother
Really nice plane. Thank for the tip on filling in the imperfections in the metal work. the lever-cap (screw-cap) bar ends look great, love the solder doughnut with the brass inside and out, looks quite classy. Sub'd.
Watching the soldering, I keep thinking am I missing the flux ? Anyhow, I want to build planes now - guess I start by making some plane floats. You don't happen to have a video on your floats and their preparation?
Can you please give me information about what type of steel. I'm a BlackSmith Hobbyist and now believe my skills are ready for woodworking tools and carving knives ectopic. Lots of money to save .Thanks for teaching ❤️ Thanks.
Stavros this is amazing. Great quality work. I'm curious what type of Brass you use in the sides of the plane? Mostly wondering if you use brass with lead. Thanks :)
Very nice. I've wanted to make an infill plane for years but it always seemed so daunting. With brass sides I'm sure that speeds up the process quite a bit. What is the final effective cutting angle? Thanks for posting and the music was far out man.
Hello Stavros. Thank you for reply. They’ve been around for a while. Nina Simone was the first time I heard “Feeling Good “. I know how you feel when you apply your self to your art, thanks for your generosity.
Hey even with a few malfunctions it turned out fantastic just curious do you have a bandsaw it would be helpful with some of the cuts great job brother I thinks I will give it a go it will be a true test of my patience lol 😂
Came for the infill making... stayed for the jazz flute. Nicely done. I'm glad you showed the fix.
Thanks!
Nice job, wonderful execution. You give the rest of us hope! Thank you for sharing.
Love your work. Glad you are no longer adding music. Tool sounds is all this fan needs in your videos. Thank you!

Thank you James! Sometimes is hard to decide what is higher on our lists :)

Watching the soldering, I keep thinking am I missing the flux ? Anyhow, I want to build planes now - guess I start by making some plane floats. You don't happen to have a video on your floats and their preparation?
Hey, it was soldering with flux, 2 in 1. I don't have that video but try to find Walter Sorrels video abot making them. Regards

Konrad Sauer is the Master :)
So nice work ...
Thank you !
Mam pytanie, co to za flamaster 1:50 ? Chodzi mi o typ, niekoniecznie markę.
Najzwykleszy biurowy marker :) już się zużył i wylądował w koszu więc nie podam Ci szczegółów..
Stavros this is amazing. Great quality work.
I'm curious what type of Brass you use in the sides of the plane? Mostly wondering if you use brass with lead. Thanks :)
Thank a lot! I don't remember, sorry. I can't check it at this moment.. Regards!
Outstanding indeed.
Thank you Bison Uberti:)
I notice the tails and pins extend so they can be filed. So was your measurement for the lines you cut to longer than the width of each side?
Yup, it was longer than width of each side. Regards
@@StavrosGakos Thanks for the reply. Great craftsmanship, keep up the amazing work!

Stavros Gakos A co to za brązowawy płyn w butelce którym zabezpieczałeś drewno?
Politura szelakowa, stosuje się ją głównie do renowacji mebli
That track is sick! What is the name of the song?
I don't remember but it's Bobby's Hughes song.

Thank you Jason! I don't have a bandsaw.. but i have lot of patience :) btw what malfunctions? Regards!
Stavros Gakos the little broken dove tail you welded back nice job repairing it
this brass tail should be a little bit wider.. my mistake, but it was very valuable experience for me :)
Thats beatyful! How long did it take to make?
Hey I'm a Maker thank you :) total time of building this plane was something about 15 hours
