    Great job for a first plane!! I liked the trick with the solder making it look like a steel circle had been riveted in. Very cool.

    Really nice plane. Thank for the tip on filling in the imperfections in the metal work. the lever-cap (screw-cap) bar ends look great, love the solder doughnut with the brass inside and out, looks quite classy. Sub'd.

    Watching the soldering, I keep thinking am I missing the flux ? Anyhow, I want to build planes now - guess I start by making some plane floats. You don't happen to have a video on your floats and their preparation?

    I notice the tails and pins extend so they can be filed. So was your measurement for the lines you cut to longer than the width of each side?

    Very nice. I've wanted to make an infill plane for years but it always seemed so daunting. With brass sides I'm sure that speeds up the process quite a bit.
    What is the final effective cutting angle?

    Hey even with a few malfunctions it turned out fantastic just curious do you have a bandsaw it would be helpful with some of the cuts great job brother I thinks I will give it a go it will be a true test of my patience lol 😂
