- This is one of the craziest videos I have ever recorded, definitely worth a watch. Nothing like traveling 6 miles into a mountain to catch some trout

Damn dude get a rubber net or wet your hands 🙌🏽..
i agree what a dumbass
For real this was kinda hard to watch…. Might as well eat them if you gonna touch with bare hands they r gonna die sadly
Was thinking the same thing. What a terrible fisherman.
please wet your hands before touching fish you release
No net no wetting of the hands. Cmon man.
If you’re gonna fish for trout you need to handle them more carefully they’re very sensitive fish
Yeah, this kid killed alot of those trout.
They aren't bass!
Yes treat them carefully with wet hands.
it be like burn-wound on the fish , on the mucus layer
You've caught more fish in one day than I've had bites in 40 years.
Hey neighbor! (I live just north of MN). Funny finding your channel while searching trout fishing in Idaho and Montana lol. I love that part of the country! Montana is amazing!
I love Montana haha
We live and learn, I see what I did was wrong and I’ve learned from it. Watch my new trout videos and how how well I handle these fish. I won’t even touch one without wetting my hands now, I treated the fish poorly in the past and I am truly sorry for it.
i wish we had more trout where i live. this reminds me of when i go fishing for pike bait. all the chubs and shiners i catch are about this size and its nonstop action. i wish they were as beautiful as these fish lol
Only a couple stocked brook trout lakes where I live also (NW Ontario). The only Rainbows I've ever caught were in a small mountain river in Idaho.
@Erik James yeah the tourists loved the trout and salmon so much we brought them home to stock the great lakes!
Be careful, Joseph Seed marked you for hunting 😂😂
comment i was looking for lmao
As a Montana native and local, if I saw you treating the fish that like I would politely ask you to leave.
Or why not kindly inform him how to properly treat the fish.
@@jadenslife.5324 This guy is an experienced fisherman. He should already know better. If it was some kid or tourist then i would agree with you.
@@megamilyon6111 you must be on something can I have some
Luckily it was young brookies.
My thoughts exactly. Trout fishing in Montana is amazing because we care for our fisheries. Proper trout handling should be basic knowledge to an experienced angler
Bro, pretty insane trip !
Coming from a Montana guy, you did this right 💯🙌
Awesome lake up in Bozeman is ferry lake. Stocked with small cutthroats, but they don’t swim far and are super aggressive. Good place to go if you’ve gone fishless for a couple days.
love this video
There are some monsters up there!
Wow what a thumbnail. Amazing video. Thank you so much for sharing this!! Just got my fishing license.
Glad you enjoyed
I can't tell what looks better, the video quality and shots or the Montana waters 😍 amazing video
I've been up there and the answer is always Montana lol. Honestly any video will never do it justice, it's breath taking in person. 👍
Great video! Keep it up!
you will have to learn how to release a wild fish of this quality and not throw it away like trash! incredible ! what a bad fisherman!
I agree you don’t even show how beautiful these fish are you catch and release it like an empty bag of chips? Otherwise would’ve been a very good video if you displayed the fish nicely and released it properly
Naspeltz, you don’t need to listen to these candy cupcakes. Ain’t nobody got time to kiss and release. Beautiful Spot though.
Bro...I guarantee that fish doesn't care about anything except getting its ass back in the water. You can't have a video showing off the beauty of a hundred 7" long baby trout. If you've ever noticed whenever the fish is noticeably tired he does take the time to make sure they swim away nice and strong.
I make sure to release every fish with care to make sure they survive. I was not to worried about those smaller fish from this video since they are fairly small, any fish of size I take good care of. I do eith I had wet my hands more during this video though.
Any wonder fly fisher folks are good at lobbying to close fishing to all but fly fishing. Make more videos like this and you will have to fly fish. Those fish probably don't survive after dry hand release. Very ignorant person.
This is litterly my dream in life
I’m living your dream life here in Montana😤
@@brandinsayler4382 adopt me😫😫😫
@@jarretschmitt6933 ight bet you have to learn to fly fish tho
@@brandinsayler4382 u can teach me😫😫
@@jarretschmitt6933 ok😂 the brownie I caught in my pfp was a 15 minute walk out of a 6 foot wide creek
Montana looks like every fishing magazine cover. The photographer must have vacationed there for a week and collected thousands of pictures.
What photographer
@@NASPELTZ The one that takes the pictures for the Fishing magazines.
Try a Fly rod on these lakes. You'll never go back.
Go fishing in MT again, this video was cool
Nice
I know im 2 years late but what are good lures for trout? I’m going to Montana soon
Hell yeah 👍
I'm sorry for my comments. It was just frustrating seeing that. I'm glad that you have learned some. Nobody is perfect. Good luck fishing.
Don’t be sorry at all nobody should treat a fish the way I did in the video. We live and learn.
Yeah i know, but I should have taken the time to teach instead of make comments like i did. I've checked out your newer videos and you definitely have figured out the right ways to trout fish. I've made mistakes as well. I hope you keep posting your videos as they are fun to watch. Check out NDYakangler, that man catches some monster fish.
Beautiful trouts you should do a catsh and cook
I’m thinking about it
All them mountain lakes are full of Brooks...I've caught loads in smaller beaver dam creeks.
Fort peck is calling your name
Insane footage , where were bears though ?
What do you mean
I mean: wouldn’t you expect boatloads of bears hanging around place like this ? In other worlds, for no money am staying there overnight or alone just finishing with no rifle on me
@@beetrootpower7440 no because bears don't want to be near people. You can barely(lack of a better term lol) count the number of incidents with bears on your hands, and most of those are when cubs are involved.
Of course bring bear spray with you just incase, but understand they are not predators.
Nice place
Super))
What are you carrying for bears, honey sandwiches or a .357?
I am going there on the 21st
I want to go so bad
Hope you had fun man !
@@cam1newton162 just make the drive! It's worth it
All good, but you should learn how to land and release a fish in a fair way. Respect the Fish please.
Noice
terrible handling of beautiful fish , need a net and wet your hands man
You may think you are a fisherman, but you have so much to learn. You can start with how to properly release a fish back into the water. You pry have the barb still on those hooks too, which is not needed for catch and release. It would do less harm. These aren't rocks, let's bend down and put them nicely in the water. Be a responsible fisherman and not a boy with a pole.
This was 4 years ago, a lot has changed since then :)
First one
I do a lot of fly fishing only in high mountain lakes and streams yes u caught a lot of fish but how many survived your dry hand and throw back in the lake if I found you
your rod would be broken as you need to improve your respect
for the sport just like another commented he would aske u to leave
been fishing fly only 60 years any many fish taken and returned just so u know the legal limit size is 14 inches where I come from 3 to 4 pound common like belly buttons 10Ib or better then its worth talking about
consider yourself told off
roger
The cut throats are tiny not worth the trip I have done it.
Hey be a nice boy and treat the fish nicely if you are not gonna eat them…
Dude why you so rough with the fish? Go back to Minnesota
Folks like you give fishermen a bad name. Try walking in, go for quality rather than quantity, and treat your fish better.
Far Cry like
Please respect the resource by learning proper fish handling techniques.
Believe me no one treats fish better than I do, this video is 4 years old. Watch any of my new stuff and you can see I’ve changed
Hate this state. Can’t wait to leave. It’s pretty. But that’s about it.
What do you hate about it? Just curious, thanks.
