A dream of a fishing day. The number of fish, their size and…oh my gosh…those unbelievable stunning colours! The solitude of that gorgeous alpine lake with that grassy “beach”, those trout caught in those small hidden corners in that beautiful creek at the head of the lake…a dream…can you get any better than that?!
For as young as you are, you've been blessed with some incredible fishing success. Usually one creates their own luck/success, and you've done a great job.
Well, it's going to be 110 here for the weekend and I certainly won't be going fishing ANYWHERE around these parts. So watching you fish this incredible spot was really a nice tonic for the old fisher's soul. I can't think of ever seeing a more beautiful place coupled with better fishing. Thank you.
Amazing video! I have never caught a trout. I like to Bass fish. I'm trying to get into fly fishing. Would love to fish there. You deserve more subscribers.
Love fishin in the Rockies.🙂👍 The scenery is dope, the fish are like EVERYWHERE, and the water is usually clear as glass. Great vid as always boys. 🙂👍 Plz keep em comin. Peace ✌😎
Like shootin' fish in a barrel. What a great day fishing. Love the scenery and the lake. I was wondering about water movement but creek answered my question. Great video Andrew.
The heat is warming those lakes up and algie will start taking over. The fish will not be able to survive in those lakes eventually !!! Nice video and enjoy every minute of this special fishing !!!
Hardman Fishing Adventures West is back again! Great trout fishing. I did that at a small lake near Lake Tahoe years ago. But those trout were so darned weary they wouldn't take a single fly. Frustrating seeing those big boys hanging out laughing it my presentations. 😡
@@hardmanfishing - You should hit the West Brach of the Delaware River one day. That river has some absolute pigs in it. It's very limited access, though, and hard to get to.
Another amazing video! You fish some great places, with incredibly beautiful trout. I was surprised at the size of some of those fish, considering they're lake dwellers. Where's all the food coming from?
He's not pulling OUT line, he's pulling IN line. Left hand is the "line hand" it manipulates the fly line when casting and retrieving a fly or streamer etc. it's not uncommon to bring in smaller fish by pulling in the fly line. Larger fish are more typically put "on the reel" and retrieved more like a spinning or bait casting reel.

No, I can't imagine it getting any better than that. It was dream like.
I don't think it can! Every fly fisherman is searching for that type of day!

It's always worse when you're several miles in to a 5 or 6 miles hike!! LOL
Loved this place. More lakes please
We'll definitely have some more lake vids coming out!!
Great video, you were slaying them out there pretty good!
Thank you!
Very nice fishing
I would say those fish hardly ever see a fly. That makes for a fun day of fishing. Enjoyed watching. Tight lines. 👍
You're probably right! Not many people make it up to those lakes, and most who do are hikers
The heat is warming those lakes up and algie will start taking over. The fish will not be able to survive in those lakes eventually !!!
Nice video and enjoy every minute of this special fishing !!!
I don't think it gets above 65 at this elevation... so I'm pretty sure these lakes are more than fine.
#24 gnat? I couldn't even see the fly, much less thread a leader through it. But beautiful scenery and beautiful fish. Thanks so much.
Nice video my friend! 🙂
Awesome Fishing Man! Love the content you guys put out for this channel, thanks for sharing and Tight Lines Brotha! 🇨🇦🤙🏾

I guess if you always caught fish they would call it catching and not fishing!! Thanks for watching

I'm not entirely sure, I'm not an expert on high alpine lakes unfortunatley. But they're definitely eating something!
That was way too cool!
WOW Hardman ! great fish ! what area were you fishing?
“No idea where that went. “ Fish on.
Those fish were HUNGRY!!!
No doubt!!
first! always love a hfa upload!
Thank you for the support!!
Thanks for not sharing the location of this lake. Sad it got mentioned a lot online. Gorgeous shots!!
I can only dream such
Amazing video! What fly(s) you using here?
After you cast it looks like you are jiggling your line and rod a little - are you trying to add movement to the fly? Do something else?
Size 24?? And here I thought a 20 was small!
Did I miss it but is this a stocked high lake?
I have no idea, It's not on a stocking report but that doesn't mean it was never stocked I guess.
Rod class?
This is my question where do you get that fly rod ? Becuase i want to one
Renegade Fly Rods!!
Oh I see now I saw the website thanks man 👍

Hi
Any Tips to get good
Spent time on the water... lots of it
When you’re fighting the fish, why do you pull out line?
He's not pulling OUT line, he's pulling IN line. Hey can you help me catch more fish
Kid you gotta speak up a little. All I can hear is you mumbling. Otherwise, great content.
Why do you pull line off a already nice tight reel when playing fish off the reel- seems unnecessary
