I’m debating whether I should still attune for the super god roll this week or go for something else like mountaintop, Elsie’s, Coup, or Luna’s. Still super stoked I managed to pull this one, though!
I love how edge transit gives me the hidden "Edging" buff that eventually turns into the "Gooning" perk that shoots vex milk at the enemies. 10/10 would edge again😊

If anyone is curious, I did the math and I believe if you disregard the barrel perk, and only want columns 2,3,4 and the masterwork, there is a 2 in 27,783 chance to get it when you get a random shiny drop👍 And if you want the full god roll at the end, it’s a 2 in 583,443 chance so yeah, rare.
I just hit an Envious/Cascade Point, Bait and Switch/Explosive light Shiny roll… but the barrel perks are- Confined Launch/Linear Compensator Magazine perks Alloy Casing/Proximity Grenades He didn’t mention proximity grenades and I did not even see it on the list of perks that he showed??? Is this roll worth keeping?
Deconstruct getting a nerf is a bummer on everything but primaries. The Ros Arago auto rifle can roll Deconsrtuct+Rewind Rounds and never has to reload as long as you don't miss. feels like a legendary version of sweet business lol.

I don't believe the activation thresholds are going to change so for primary weapons like that Ros Arago or Parabellum it should still work the same.
@@pirate135246 Deconstruct gives a damage buff. Even without, it is solid dmg. It’s an auto they do solid dmg in PvE even in high end content. Continuous damage is pretty good. Reload is the single biggest killer of dps. It’s destiny bruh. You can do ad clear with damn near anything. Volatiles rounds and void surges are your friends.

@@EvilskyworshippersIts hardly 2 weeks, my god roll palindrom still kicks to this day. Its more about meta weapon rotation, often they will nerf an archetype but if your smart and keep it theres a high chance it will still get use in later seasons when the meta rotates again.
Just don't go too crazy farming this as Bungie is aware and is nerfing/changing the Cascade/Envious swap off interaction so it may not be as good. Still good to have both rolls imo but I don't think we'll be able to do the swap shenanigans we're seeing here.
Tbf, It's a cheesy interaction that imo really shouldn't really exist in the game, so I wouldn't even call it a nerf. Last thing this game needs is a more hotswapping-dominated meta.

Wasnt edge transit like the only option from the cryptarc in the heavy slot for a time which meant if a weapon dropped their was an equal chance of a primary secondary or heavy making edge transit a near 33% chance to be dropped or something ?
I've got 4 different rolls, all different variants of envious assassin or cascade point & either explosive light or bait & switch. I'm not wasting time hoping for a 7/7 god roll. I'll just bring with me whatever the encounter demands.
This may be on super worth it, but loadout swapping from Mini or Aug with Backup to Spike will still grant 24 in the mag. I don't know how efficient this is, but I use this strat on one of my other GLs, and it works well for me.
If you have a bunch of orbs in a well and proc B&S and then insanely quickly swap to explosive light and then pick the orbs up can you stack them like that or does B&S go away?
Can't you also swap from augmented drum to spike nades after you overflow it if you have them on the same roll? Obviously getting said roll would be astronomical chances.
Yeah I’m happy with mine. Hard Launch, spikes/mini frags, auto-loading/chain reaction, b&s/deconstruct. Velocity masterwork. Auto-loading is clutch because I’m running it with lucky pants malf build and it’s just kinda nice for questing

Got a shiny with sticky nade field prep deconstruct and envious bait and switch. First rolls great for ad clear and the second is great for boss damage. You get so much ammo back you essentially have 40 shots

I tried out the drop rates for this increased shiny weapon drop today. I have to say I wasn’t impressed. I had saved up 730 brave trophies and I got about 8 shiny weapons out of this double drop rate increase. I wasn’t impressed at all. I didn’t even get variants that were worth keeping. I was expecting to be showered in these special variants. But sadly I only got 8. safe to say I’m burnt out and done with onslaught. I feel like this was a “gotcha” move by Bungie. Oh well, time for a week off.
Something else to keep in mind with surrounded: the well nerf in the final shape will make the perk even harder to take advantage of. Managing surrounded on a gl while walking in and out of a bubble is a recipe for disaster and well's reduced healing may not be enough to keep you alive
FOr Koraxis's Distress, since the issue highlighted was DPS I would have tested a reconstruction, or better yet envious assassin, to remove the 3 reloads you had in there. I don't think you gave koraxis a fair shot

The only problem is that it came with a blast radius ME😭😭😭 Let us reroll masterworks, Bungie, for the love of all that is holy. Destination Nightfall weapons used to be able to. Duty Bound, D.F.A, and others. Hell, make it require the weapon to be fully masterworked and cost an ascendant alloy, an upgrade module, and 50k glimmer to do, but please, let us have control over the masterwork on all weapons. MWs can make or break god rolls if it's the wrong one
Got a Hullabaloo with Volatile, High-Velocity, Voltshot, Chain Reaction, Classy Contender that's my goto for most. Still haven't got a Edge Transit that completes with it. Hopefully it doesn't get too nerfed but if it does, it was a blast to use. So F'ng INSANE!
@@pirate135246 Yeah, I use Hullabaloo mainly for ad clear and works fine for some bosses. Just got a regular Edge Transit drop with Hard Launch/Countermass, Spike Grenades/Mini Frags, Envious Assassin, Bait & Switch and it does do a better job on bosses.

Envious Assassin is going to be changed so the extra ammo in the mag is removed if you swap off the perk

Hullabaloo is for ad clear Edge Transit is for dps they don’t really compare
Hullabaloo is for ad clear in at-level content. Outside of that, it's useless.

@@pirate135246 Yeah, I use Hullabaloo mainly for ad clear and works fine for some bosses. Just got a regular Edge Transit drop with Hard Launch/Countermass, Spike Grenades/Mini Frags, Envious Assassin, Bait & Switch and it does do a better job on bosses.
Sounds like all they have to do is make it so you lose the overflow if you swap perks.
Sticky + cascade + deconstruct still should be top tier for boss dps.
Telling people to farm the shiny one when the nerf is already confirmed is wild
