On the contrary....DPS ABSOLUTELY mattered...but the actual damage window is obscenely short and you have to move constantly making a LOT of options just not viable at all. Apparently the nanites from Outbreak also just straight up don't hit the boss.

The damage check is what will hold back teams, especially those that don't know to coordinate their loadouts and not just use whatever

Celestial Still hunt + one solar holster mod + recon bait and switch apex predator is really damn good too. Rotation as follows:
Throw melee for radiant
Fire golden gun super
Fire still hunt super
Fire primary once for B&S
Fire 2 rockets from apex predator
The solar holster will now have reloaded still hunt back to 6 rounds. Fire all 6 at boss to refill still hunt super
Fire still hunt super
Back to primary, then to rockets and repeat the cycle until out of ammo or boss is dead
Idk the actual dps numbers but for me they were higher than when I was using edge transit bc I never had any downtime where I reloaded. obviously it’s not applicable in all boss fights, but as long as the boss doesn’t move too much and has a easy enough to hit crit, it’s a really good solo dps rotation
Hmm, interesting! As someone who doesn’t have that god roll envious bait and switch edge transit, this is a good alternative! I didn’t consider using a solar holster
Don't forget to activate Cayde's retribution before you NH GG. That way you can switch right into BnS without waste in animation time.

Don't forget that the ammo economy for certain weapons is a lot better than others. For example, levi breath only used half the ammo for very similar damage. This means that if the damage phase is longer than templar, levi breath has better damage. Basically all I am saying is needing to think about total damage versus burst damage; this video demonstrates burst damage, not total damage.
this damage test is for day 1 raiders, if you're a day 1 raider, you already know this and will prepare everything
@@dankerbell I know… it’s in the title… but I was clarifying for people who wanted to try it if there was a longer damage phase or something because that was not stated. These damage tests were all long range, quick burst damage, I was simply stating that it may not be the best for every encounter / every team.

@@hhaste almost like I said that, hmmmmmmmm. Again, I am just stating it so that people who may just look at this and immediately think "okay, I'll just use the top one" have a secondary thought about what they actually need.
They need to just make queen breakers a special since it’s pretty close to matching most special weapons. I think it would find a nice home in its current state as a special to be a solid ranges arc option which really doesn’t have a lot options in terms of ranged arc exotics.
There are more special exotics than heavy so I’m guessing that’s why they haven’t changed it
they said they wouldn't do that for either qb or darci because they think there's too many special damage options already

If that's their take then we should move Arby and the void one and make them heavy. Just up the shit out of their damage. Like make Arby hit for 80k a shot but reduce the reserves to like 12
DARCI and Queenbreaker, I still use it because the blind on hit is game changing lowkey
Hazardous Propulsion's buff is classified as an enhancement buff, and seems to interact correctly with all other enhancement buffs *except* sources of Radiant. I believe all Radiant buffs (including Well) while classified as enhancement buffs, behave almost like a group in their own right so sometimes their interaction overrides or is overridden by other things where that should not be the case. I remember there were problems with Celestial golden gun not getting the correct damage buff while in a Well, this seems similar. with Well getting reworked and the buff UI changing, it's possible that some detail of how Radiant-category enhancement buffs are getting applied was changed, and because HazPro is new, their interaction was overlooked. the good news is it stacks correctly with all other buffs to my knowledge, so non-Radiant enhancements should take the highest value and it stacks correctly with Surge buffs and global debuffs.
Golden gun/well interaction has not been fixed. It's still broken and stupid.

Bungie actually responded on Reddit and confirmed this. Hazardous Propulsion currently has it's 35% damage buff overwritten by Radiant and Well resulting in you only getting the 25% boost those provide instead of the 35% you should get. The game SHOULD be taking the higher % buff confirmed by Bungie.
It also works on Grand Overture's alt fire rockets, it just didn't look like it here because of this bug.
The whole Well/Radiant thing with Golden Gun is that Radiant DOES buff it while Well doesn't. In theory they should either both work or neither work. TECHNICALLY it'd make more sense for neither to work as both are supposed to only buff weapon damage and not ability damage but for whatever reason Radiant specifically buffs Golden Gun anyway.
@@Luteloots it literally says in the golden gun super description that it's buffed by radiant. That is why radiant works on golden gun. But the radiant buff from well does not work with golden gun. Being in a well actually lowers your damage with golden gun.

Coming here from just seeing you complete the raid. I almost forgot what energetic Aztecross looks like. Well done. I was there through a big chunk of it and I kid you not the run that did it was the final one I was going to watch that night as it was already 3:30 in my timezone. Such a crazy finale too.
Love contest mode for those who can enjoy it and it should be the standard for worlds first raids but man. I do wish I could run the raid on a separate option non contest mode just to enjoy it like normal on day 1.
Yeah having to wait 48 hours to play on normal mode is rough.

I’ve been rocking tesselation with edge transit and osmiomancy gloves for big burst DPS, have a grenade shot already loaded then primary shot Tesselation grenade shot to bait and switch edge transit

Apologies for my ignorance, but why do we only do light attacks on falling guillotine now? I still do light attacks until the guard meter is fully charged, then heavy attack. Is it just ammo economy?
I'm surprised Flechette Storm wasn't tested here. Especially with the new exotic gauntlets since their damage buff isn't conditional like Synthoceps or Wormgods.
Cross, u can get even more damage from outbreak with facet of command and facet of sollitude with a bleakwatcher turret active on Prismatic Warlock, this can be run in tandem with a viable raid build for a quick swap for a last stand with no ammo since youll still have 3 Fragment slots left after Command and Solitude

You should try cataclysmic, foetracer, prismatic, radiant.
I'd like to see an ergo sum with Wolfpack with a sword with frenzy and bait an switch. It does affect yourself too which is pretty op

Fun fact: I did Dragon’s breath with The Supremacy for solo dungeon runs last season and I learned that after 7 Supremacy shots with rewind I could shoot DB again.

Dragon's breath + sunsinger spam? I've been using it to absolutely melt things, but IDK if it actually competes or is just solid for lower content.

I still think that them renaming Young Wolf's Howl would have been fine for Ergo Sum. It still would have made sense for the other exotic perks it can roll with
I don't know why people argue Star Eaters over Celestial. 1.) It has been proven that even with max stacks and three precision hits, Star Eaters is still less than the semi-recently buffed Celestial. 2.) The only reason people used them was to CHAIN golden guns with the bonus super energy on orb pickup, which they just nerfed. On top of Celestial being infinitely easier to use, making Star Eaters only useful for Gathering Storm and Blade Barrage rotations.
Grand overture getting a buff with that exotic is crazy

Maybe the Well takes precedence because Hazardous is a stackable buff, and the check looks for the individual buff which is lower than 25% instead of the 6x one which is 35%.
Caretaker sword with surrounded and relentless strike (preferably enhanced) with a bunch of solar surges WRECKS most bosses with add dense environments. The perks carry it and deal good dpa
Should pop song of flame instead of well before using microcosm cause to get scorch and ignitions too
I’m definitely going to use the new micro exotic with wardens law lucky pants. After lucky pants runs out, I will use golden gun and switch to micro. With 3 Kinetic mods, it should let me do maximum dps for both heavy and primary

Still hunt probably could be pretty wild with 6 hunters all with golden gun and still hunt, fire still hunt first then golden gun, then with all the orbs fire still hunt again, possibly twice if there's enough orbs. That would be quite alot of spice
The new update this week fixed the Hazardous Propulsion+ Well/Radiant issue.
FOR STILL HUNT USE YOUR NORMAL SUPER FIRST!!!!! The weapon damage afterwards returns more super energy from the Still Hunt super
It probably should been better if he didnt even used the super at all, cause he didnt for the other tests (its like 650.000 inflated damage for still hunt)

problem with some of these like whisper its not feesable for witness just due to you gotta move around a ton and you gotta watch the hands so you will be scoping out so much.

It's funny that Cross saw the power of the Still Hunt rotation, but it was the world's first team that actually used it
It's been confirmed that hazardous gets the same damage issue that nighthawk gets in a well.
If Essentialism had spirit of Nighthawk in column 1, pairing that with spirit of Star-Eater and Still Hunt would probably make hunters even more busted for boss dps to the point where GG marksman would become the hunter equivalent of Well
Watching this after the raid race, its funny to think even with Celestial and Still Hunt being OP AF it still took 18 hours to complete the Raid

Unironically is Taipan the best legendary dps for the last encounter? You want a void weapon to synergize with the last artifact perk that gives void weapons more damage to weakened targets.
You can't use last season's LFR because you can't keep precision instrument rolling, which makes firing line the best perk option, right?

I did the main quest on one character and forgot to pick up the quest on my other character and im locked out from using 1 light subclass, and aspects and grenade on 2 characters for prismatic.
What do i do

death bringer is skill issue.. with the catalyst if you hit a wall 3 meters above the target all the orbs track in a tight pack with all of them hitting its one of the hardest hitting rockets
