- Rob takes us on the Metrolink tram (passing by the Lowry Theatre, Imperial War Museum North, and ITV Studios/Coronation Street), on the way to the Trafford Centre in Greater Manchester, where we go on the prowl for awesome wrist watches. We talk about the history of the Trafford Centre itself and have lunch at Hop Vietnamese Street Food in Europe's largest food court. We view, or discuss, Bulova, Swatch, Oris, Tudor, Blancpain, Hamilton, Omega, Cartier, Hublot, Rolex, Longines, Tag Heuer, and a few other treats from Goldsmiths, Watches of Switzerland, Ernest Jones, Beaverbrooks, Swatch, Breitling, Omega and Tag Heuer.
Models we get hands-on time with include the Bulova Jet Star Limited, Breitling B09 Chronograph 40, Swatch Blancpain Ocean of Storms, Longines Conquest, Hublot Classic Fusion Orlinski Titanium, and the Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Date.

The Breitling Pistachio dial is absolutely stunning. I receive so many compliments on this timepiece. The pistachio green brings out a vintage vibe….in my opinion.

There is a small shop called Time-Piece Watch Repairs in the Trafford Centre. If you turn left at the Goldsmiths on the lower floor it's on the right hand side. They normally have some interesting watches, especially Rolex. F.Hinds upstairs also have a small selection of pre-owned watches, mainly Rolex.

You make the tragic centre look lovely! Tag have a shop.. there are 3 independent watch repair/retail units, one can be seen as you enter the mall. Would have been nice to give them some screen time. Shame really.
I included two Tags at the end of this video as I was passing through. I'll have to check out the independents another time.
Great video! I regularly go Goldsmiths in Trafford Centre as it’s my main AD for Rolex & Cartier! I went to the private viewing for Cartier too at that store, how did it go for you?

I have a Bulova Lunar pilot and a Devil Diver in orange which is fab! Love the Jet Star 70’s vibe and smooth sweep second hand ….. but I find Bulova very hit and miss …. Some of their modern range look truly awful!
