- Rob takes the train from Manchester to the city of Leeds for another Watch Prowl. We walk around the city centre exploring, then have a look in Berry's Jewellers, Preston's Rolex, IWC, Vacheron Constantin, Panerei, Patek Philippe, Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre JLC.
Watches seen include the new Cartier Santos medium brown dial, IWC Ingenieur, IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph Top Gun Oceana, IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar, JLC Polaris Chronograph, JLC Reverso Tribute Chronograph, the brand new Vacheron Constantin green dials Overseas Self-Winding, Overseas Dual Time, Overseas Chronograph, Panerai Luna Rossa, Panerai Submersible, Panerai Radomir and the Patek Philippe 5396G Complications.
It was a productive and hunger-inducing day which led to a lunch break at the American-based Wendy's Hamburgers.
It was great to welcome you to the boutique Rob and glad you liked the Overseas.
Thanks, Tom. You and the rest of your crew at Berry's were awesome!
Thanks for bringing these beauts to our screens. So we dont have to :) Appreciate ya. Green dial VC are a killer.
Thanks! The green VCs are grails, for sure. The blue is incredible, too!
Berrys are an amazing company - family business and lovely people who have some amazing watches but also beautiful Jewellery
Very true! Lots of good folks there which makes the shopping experience first-rate. Thanks for watching!
Love the watch stores being in pretty much the same location! Thanks for showing those watches.
My pleasure!
Leeds is probably my favourite watch city in the UK (excluding London, of course!). And that brown dial Santos... just incredible.
The brown Santos is a looker! I also found the large version...stay tuned!
@@RobtheAmerican that was my favourite on your visit
Gorgeous city and watches, great tour guide of the watches. Enjoy!
Thanks for the support! I enjoy it.
Love it Rob. Wow that VC dual time!!
I know. It's a WOW! 🤩
That Panerai Luna Rossa is so nice!!!!
True!
Loving the Overseas!
Me, too!
I loved the video! thank you for it
Glad you liked it!
You should've popped into Owen and Robinson right next door to the Vacheron Boutique. They have Zenith and A.Lange & Sohne. As well as Blancpain and Breguet...
I'm going to go back to Leeds for Part 2!
Leeds is watch heaven. Bought a few there myself . . . nothing in this price range though! I found the Owen and Robinson store (which is owned by Berry's) a good place to buy.
Agreed! The folks at O & R are super!
Hey glad I found your channel its cool and gentlemen like, some beautiful time pieces, I love Watches, my grail is all watches I'm completely lost these days😊
Welcome. I'm lost in watches, too! 😭
Thanks for joining me on this cool ride. Feel free to share my channel with other watch folk. Much appreciated! Rob
Great video from the world’s greatest city. My tailor is opposite the first store you visited. I really want that Patek 5396G ANNUAL CALENDAR, MOON PHASES. Shame I can’t afford it 😢
Thanks Paul. That Patek is pretty special...wait till you see the ones I got my hands on in York!
@@RobtheAmerican oh Wowzers. I can’t wait. ⏱️⌚️👊
First watch of your channel. Like very much, no hype, no over exuberance, just gentle, quiet and polite window shopping for some wonderful pieces. Liked and subscribed. My favourites of your video - green & gold VC time & date plus the Panerai Submersible Luna Rosa (PAM01507). I would love to own one day. With an extra red leather strap it’s a smart wear option. On the leather it’ll go down to 500m which is crazy. Titanium so light and comfortable. Thanks again.
Thanks for the kind words! I really like that Panerai but it's a monster on the wrist! ....and the Overseas is a grail - not sure if it would be the green or the blue dial for me. Tough life choices! 😂
@@RobtheAmerican certainly a 1st world problems! I’d need to see in person but think the blue dial steel VC would be the one for me. Glad you like Manchester. Great eating to be had in Chinatown.
If you fancy a trip to the coast there is Jura shop in Whitby,.
Thanks for the tip! Whitby and Jura combined could make a fascinating day out.
Leeds has always been a good draw for watch window shopping. I’ve bought two Rolex watches there over the years. Great professional staff and wonderful service. Great vid by the way.
Pure watch porn by the way! Drool worthy selection!
I enjoyed my time in Leeds and will return. Thanks for watching!
@@RobtheAmerican go to the corn exchange if you haven’t already. A magnificent structure. They don’t build them that way any more. Also some great markets with fun characters.
VC Overseas is amazing
100% True!
They a really good museum in Leeds called royal armoury’s. You should check it out next time you there
Thanks for the head's up! I'll check it out next time I'm in Leeds.
@@RobtheAmerican make sure you have half a day spare lots to look at.
Will do!
3:05 Beautiful city. Stunning watches but way out of my price range. I'm in the Seiko, Orient, Citizen price bracket. Interestingly I don't feel envious or have any desire to own those top end watches. It's just not my world. I can appreciate what they are but I feel blessed being able to buy the watches I buy. I wonder how many watches those shops sell in a day. How many people can go into town and spend 15 grand on a watch?
I like to look, too! And I'm always happy for my pals when they get new watches - whether they cost £150 or £15000.
Love the format of the video, (watch shopping), I know the Leeds shops too. Where are you going next? 😁
Gotta keep a few secrets...stay tuned! 😉
Like your channel. Love watches !
Will have to try Wendy’s too !
Thanks for the kind words. Be sure to order a Frosty when you go to Wendy's!
Hey Rob great videos man, subscribed this weekend 🙌 I need to head over to Leeds to see the Vacheron boutique myself as I’m dying to get an overseas, wondering was any of them available?
Keep it up my friend enjoying your content.
Thanks for the support! Much appreciated. I was told they had all the green Overseas models for a special event being held, so they may or may not still be there. I would call before making a special trip.
Just think how many holidays you go on.
It's all business! 😉
Really good video. What’s were the benefits of buying in Leeds - prices, used market, range of options etc?
I just like going to different cities and checking out their watch scene. Find a dealer you like wherever you live and stick with them!
Next time please. Go in a Chisholm hunter store. I have never seen the inside
I'll do my best!
Did you go into the Rolex boutique and any watches? Thanks for the tour de horology
I did go into the Rolex and spoke to one of the sales associates who was super, but I didn't film any watches, so I didn't include any Rolex models in the video.
Why didn't you actually go into the Rolex boutique?
I did go in, but there was nothing to try on that I hadn't talked about before...but it is a beautiful store!
Where was the shopping place you went please
All the watch dealers shown are within a five minute walk in Leeds city centre.
@@RobtheAmerican what’s the places called tho please
Were those watches available for purchase???
I believe all were for sale except for the green Overseas models.
@@RobtheAmerican thank you.
Do you actually own any of the watches you talk about?
Very few. I'm happy to look and admire.
@@RobtheAmerican why not review the watches you already own, and are more familiar with, just curious.
I do that, too!
