I found out that the "Galaxy Shifters" are a knock-off of an obscure Japanese toy line called "Diarobo" (no relation to Takara's Diaclone) made by a company called Agatsuma, they are a line of transforming robots who had a humanoid robot and an animal robot mode which makes them unique such as a Brontosaurus who turns into a truck, they even had play sets too and strangely enough a lore backstory for the robots.
Aw I telt so bad you smashed Lawnmowerm'n, he didn't ask to be attached to a bankrupt company! But between him and Justice Warrior or whatever he was called and Cokehead I'm vibing with these creative robo designs. Makes me so nostalgic for the days when TFs weren't the same two dozen guys forever and ever and ever.
but it's no longer "the same 12 guys forever" anymore, we've been getting new stuff with generations and legacy's been doing damn near anyone and everyone.

Fun fact: I had the bootleg Transmetal Rattrap as a kid. I got it as a garage sale as a kid and it was missing half the parts. I had no idea what it was supposed to be but I did know I found the face really creepy. So I made him a Decepticon named, quite literally, "Ugly".
My brother, back when he was also into Transformers, got a bootleg Optimal Optimus back when both him and me were too young and/or naive to know what a knock off was, and we were both equally traumatized when his brand new Maximal Leader sheared his own head off.
I genuinely died at the KO radio audio. Some of those beatdowns were super satisfying. Transforming robot turned puzzle into mere seconds. Those Titan Class KOs at the start really looked like fun, despite the terrible plastic quality.
Time for my favourite holiday tradition: Watching Thew huck breezeblocks at just the worst knockoffs ever seen. I was not prepared for Knockoff Beandown, I'm dying here Thew.
Wish my nephew luck you guys. He just got his first official Transformers toy for Christmas and my sister decided to get him Studio Series Scourge. I’m now going to drag him down a Transformers rabbit hole. I mean, personally, I think Scourge was too complicated for a first toy, but I’m excited to see him experience more Transformers.

I seriously lost it at the ko Valkyrie part. Reminds me of the time Jobby put noodles in War for Cybertron Grimlock's chest. I think Cracker Barrel sold those wooden bots at one time. Maybe they still do,I will find out next time I want some mediocre food and manufactured nostalgia😂. I always find it weird but charming when I hear "pop" for "soda." There is a dinosaur themed place between where I live and Tampa that sells dino themed bots with the same transformation as that tiger bot. Some things about the knockoffs I noticed: Besides making the Robot Radio, Tai Fong also sold a toy called "Robotic Aeroplane" that reused the VF-1's arms and wings. Globo also distributed a knockoff G1 Optimus Prime called Battle Convoy (like the Diaclone version) or Battle Supbot. That knockoff Valkyrie appears to be based on the 1990 Bandai reissue, which had a different head from the one used for Jetfire.

Turns out it's a funny coincidence this went up because my grandfather gifted me the Metallic Alliance Dark Commander, a 3rd party KO of SS-38 Optimus Prime but in Nemesis colors.
I have to say, I love that the Radio Bot transforms like one of the cassettes for Soundwave or Blaster. That has some weird symmetry to it that makes me happy.
