Speaking of, I had their weird idea for a parody grind-house film where a cop becomes a lycanthrope (basically a Warewolf but you can transform at will) but is stuck in wolf form (which will be a Jim Henson styled puppet) and he now has to stop crime while stuck as a wolf man. Like it’s a comedy, but in the style of something like naked gun or other 80s comedies.
God I missed this series, this is the highlight of overall pretty bad Christmas season, thanks thew!

Every time I see knockoff TFs it brings about a strange nostalgic feeling in me.
I live in Asia, and I would often receive KOs as gifts from well-meaning relatives who didn't know any better. My parents would then get mad at me when i showed outward signs of displeasure for being disrespectful.
For me, Chinese TF KOs like "Taikongzhans" and "Dong Man Jin Gang" are just as part of my childhood as the real deal.

(btw, to answer Thew's question, Transformers in Chinese are known as "变形金刚" [bian xing jin gang], which Chinese-to-English dictionary translators often literally translate to "Deformation", hence why the name is so commonly used)

I honestly laughed out loud at the "You Died" gag. Lots of fun in this one.
Normally I'd be concerned that all the flying plastic shards could be dangerous and cause you an injury, but we all know this plastic is too weak to manage anything more than a light scuff. It's great to see the Beatdown back again. Smart move with the Galaxy Shifter figures being proxy smashables. Can't feel guilty about smashing them blandotrons up.

Gotta be honest, I've never really missed KO beatdown since I've loved all the rest of your content so much, but it's still so nice to see it back
I love the sound effects on the K/O's getting obliterated, but I would really love to hear more stock screaming sound effects on them. It just adds a touch more delicious cruelty to the whole thing, and makes me laugh out of pure schadenfreude.

Seriously though, this felt a bit like an elevated iteration of Knock-Down to the point where it not only felt like a wonderful skit, but I could feel the genuine fun time being had.
Of course, your vids are always a chill, fun vibe of just talking about mostly Transformers, but this.

I grew up with so many of these knockoffs as my transformers/power ranger collection. Mostly the combiner but everything from the big lots change robot line is something very nostalgic for me. Its nice to see them being recognized and/or smashed to bits, which is what would happen to them anyway

Here in Spain knock offs are sold in legitimate toy shops right next to the official stuff and there is always a tiny part of me that thinks “should I buy one and send it to thew just to see it get blatted with a brick? You’ve definitely created a sub-genre of transfandom.

Like, it's so horrible and creepy that it winds up being kinda lovable?
Taking an overwrought movieverse design, sanding down the details to *that* extreme, and giving it a face straight out of a Studio Ghibli film was not something that *should* have happened, but I kinda love that it did.
I didn't know how much I missed the slow motion destruction with the scream sound effect. Thew this was a great Christmas present this year. Thank you.
