This is one of those bands I know of that are from back when and have a vast discography but remain unappreciated for... some reason? I had a similar baptism with Rush after watching an album ranking vid so I look forward to delving into this band. Thank you!

Always thumbs up for Manilla Road and promoting old school heavy metal bands. For me the best album MR is Open The Gates, The Deluge, Mystification, Crystal Logic (breakthrough album), The Court of Chaos, Out of the Abyss and many more.

The Deluge I've been spinning Circus Maximus a lot for the past week or so and I'm actually quite into it. To Kill a King rocks as well. Their worst album is still a good 7.5/10. Best band ever. Playground of the Damned is one I often forget about but I adore it whenever I do go and listen to it again. Abattoir de la Mort has to be in my top 5 favourite MR tracks ever.

Love these guys but I have to admit I’ve only heard the albums after The Courts of Chaos once each so far (and same with the first 2). Definitely quite the feat to rank the albums because the whole catalog is super solid. My personal favourites are The Deluge and Mystification but I really enjoy every album. On one side is Inquisition with the album Ominous Doctrines of the Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm. on the other side is one of my all time favorites - Caladan Brood with the album Echoes of Battle. Cheers!
Daaamn! I already know about that Inquisition album, and it's my favorite by them! But Echoes Of Battle, how i was not recognizing that album cover, that album it's amazing ABM
@@BodeaAlexandru-mq1kw Echoes of Battle was released with 2 different album covers for vinyl, so that could be why it was unrecognizable also haha. This was the 2nd album cover with the updated band logo. I love the original album art too

The Deluge is my favorite as well. Love everything and especially the drumming and drum tone. Such a great album.
Nice! Such a solid album from front to back. The top 4 or 5 are all so awesome, but ya I felt like the Deluge edged the others by a little bit.
