Bloodcross- Gravebound came out earlier this month and kind of blew my head off. Finnish Melodic black/death from members of Angelscourge. I think anybody who loved Moonlight Sorcery from last year should definitely check this out.
Not sure how that went under my radar, but ya not familiar with that album at all. Based on that description I will be checking it out ASAP. Cheers dude, you are always giving me great recommendations!
Almost forgot.... Old Leshy- Na skraju przepaści was another album from July that I thought was absolutely killer. Slavic Pagan Black Metal with atmospheric keyboards and a very mystical, mysterious aura surrounding it. Absolutely worth checking out!
@@FathomlessDepths76 Awesome dude, that sounds like it would be right up my alley. Havent heard that either, so another one for me to check out! Cheers!
Hammerheart!!!! I thought you were still on vacation. You're stuff was always in my feed. Just noticed I'm way behind on your videos. I'm stuck on 70s music lately...and 80s thrash.. been listening to Critical Defiance new album however...I think from March of this year and it's great! A lot to check out here, thank you Sir 🤘
Wormwitch takes the cake for my favorite album of July 2024. Had the honor seeing them live couple times and their new album is some great, unadulterated sounding black metal with crust punk influences done right. So many good choices here as usual!

For some reason this year I don't vibe with the new releases - a lot of solid albums but rarely I feel compelled to return to an album again & again. I want to shout out Deep Purple and especially Ian Gillan who at 78 still sounds great on the newly released album - how wild is that?
I get that, I do agree that this year hasnt necessarily had the crazy standout albums of years past, but I still have enjoyed quite a few new albums also. And how have I not listened to the new Deep Purple yet? I am gonna check that out this week. Cheers!
Crown of Anguish is also killer! Haha thanks 🤘
