Always a pleasure to watch these monthly recaps of yours :) Please forgive my absence from the comment section, it's been quite a busy year so far, but I believe the ending will be calm 😀 Great list as usual, many awesome albums, I love new Demiser and Dungeon Keeper, Spectral Wounds is absolutely phenomenal album, I can't stop spinning it.
Cheers man! Long time no talk! And no apologies needed haha, life gets in the way sometimes. Definitely more important things to do than commenting on UA-cam videos :) But ya definitely been a ton of great releases this year. Will be looking forward to seeing your year end picks in a few more months. Gonna be tough to narrow down this year I feel
The new Nahtrunar album Hrima should definitely be on your radar, man. Came out last Thursday and it is instantly my favorite album of the year. Cosmic, melodic riffing with acoustic folk passages and ambient sections. Parts almost remind me of Memoria Vetusta era Blut Aus Nord meets Borknagar but mixed up with the usual Nahtrunar mastery. It is a masterpiece! Also the debut album from Hrtkos which came out at the tale end of last month really blew me away. New band from the same mind behind Wedrujacy Wiatr, Stworz and Aūkels. Absolutely killer folky atmospheric black metal. Seems he is incapable of releasing a bad album. Cheers, man. Always stoked to see a new video from you 🤘
Cheers man! I am not familiar with Nahtrunar or Hrtkos, but based on your description I think both will be things I will be into. Definitely adding those both to my list of albums to check out this week. Thanks for the recommendations as always!
Update - just listened to the 90 minute beast that is that Nahtrunar album and wow! Thanks man for recommending that, it was completely under my radar and it just blew me away. Definitely would have been right near the top of this list had I heard it before I made this video. Will check out the Hrktos album later this week too. Cheers, thanks again man. Thats what this channel is all about for me, getting great recommendations like this!
Cheers! ya that Anciients album is killer. And ya I cant believe that Blitzkrieg released an album yesterday and then Satan is releasing one next week. I checked out the Blitzkrieg album yesterday and ya its great!

Good picks, there was another black metal album that just came out called Reclamation: Part 2 by Amiensus. It's progressive black metal like Enslaved or Agaloch.

I listened none of the album you presented (yet !) But by seeing the Vehemence poster in the back I don't know if you know this project or heard something about the new album : Grylle will release a new album this year. It is black Metal in Middle Age without electric instrument and it is amazing. Still release from Antiq records and it is the project of the label boss who also plays in Véhémence. Listen Les Grandes Compagnies ASAP if you never heard about this band.
Cheers Achille! I have heard Grylle before and love it! But I did not know he was putting out a new album this year, so that is great news! Thanks for letting me know. I am a huge fan of Antiq and pretty much every project Hyvermor is part of
