The last of the elves, the psychically gifted and technologically advanced indigenous race of the world. Despite their advanced tech, centuries of peace had ill prepared them for when the Empire’s Expeditionary fleets arrived, and their cities were swiftly destroyed by the ensuing orbital bombardments. In a last bid for survival they took their 3 best scientists and a genetically perfected clone, and sequestered them in cryopods in a hidden vault, this being known as Project: Artemis. A thousand years later, after the coupe of e3.1202 had lead to the secession by the Corella star groups and greatly weakened the Empire’s grasp on the rim, the elves awakened and the first step towards reviving the elven race was to Eliminate the threat of the empire from their world.

The great thing about Gauss weapons at all is that you can still have a powerful weapon without it exceeding the typical minimum velocity to be counted as a firearm in most countries. If more people knew about them, chances are staying armed in places where the tyranny's a bit higher wouldn't be as much of an issue as it is currently. And really, if you know what you're looking for, you can harvest all the components you need out of electronics and a trip to the hardware store, which means no need for custom PCBs or expensive Amazon capacitors.
A Gauss weapon is viable in singular use. The energy drain is not sustainable for large populations unless you expect the resistance to start building ad-hoc nuclear reactors.
@@Valsorayu You can use electrolysis to turn water into hydrogen, and then use that in specialized generators for power production. Batteries can be taken from cars, since lithium extraction is very bad for the environment and people's health. The people vastly outnumber imperial authorities, so you don't need them in great numbers for revolution. Bows and crossbows can fill the void, and you can always take the weapons of your enemies. Not to mention, if it's revolution, you can pretty easily throw weapon laws out the window.

This build left a man with a 372 damage bruise to the torso, equivalent to a rhino running straight through him.

Last major event was a vampire crash, who we’re now working on recruiting.
You can steer the space trader drops to a specific location with the same thing you put in your storage facility. I forget the name of it because I've not played Rimworld in a year or so and am just now getting back into it, but it's that little antenna thing that everyone always forgets to build on their first few playthroughs and wonders why they can't sell anything to a space trader. man i love this guys videos on rimworld! wish he would do a 1000 days in rimworld
Playing FTL music in the background is relaxing indeed
Can’t believe you would put psychic wizard Adam Smasher against the empire. Poor imperials.
Spooky! I just caught up with the Medieval series, only to check the channel ...
I'm watching you.... Always watching....
Artemis, the Emperor of Man run. Literally the Unification Wars minus everything else lol
This is quite entertaning, a massive cyborg just wiping out the empire at the cost of his eyes and friends.
I love to imagine that before the vault, the four were actually all soldiers whose home was destroyed by the empire when they were young and they were hidden away to continue their peoples existence. In a state of rage and anger Artemis(who lost his voice during the destruction) starts planning his revenge and does anything to acheive his goal, even at the cost of losing his last 3 remaining friends who seem to eke out existence within the vault waiting for their massive friend to come back with news of victory while he wanders the world without his sight, unsure of how to return or what to do now that the empire is no more
Yeah y'know I never actually thought to give them a reason for wiping out the empire....
Just, why not? I guess lol
Hazzor unironically created the rimworld version of Adam smasher
very nice video. Liked your explanations and voiceover, really enjoyed how you broke character and laughed at some absurd moments, makes it quite funny.
Shame it ends so quickly, would've loved to see Artemis getting upgraded more, but I'm not sure if this was the absolute end of the mod.
As someone who hasn't played Rimworld in years, it blows me away to see how far the game and modding community has come along. I don't recognize 90% of the stuff in here lol!
Great video ! your rimworlds videos are so good, they have a really good storytelling and montage, hope you get more subscribers mate !
Love the FTL music in the background, it's arguably the best music to listen to for hours without getting bored of it.
so you basically made adam smasher
Even better, he made V
Warhammer 40k levels of super soldier here, and I'm all for it!
artemis being good at ranged makes sense, since artemis is the name of an archery hero and the goddess of hunting
Goddess, and what do you mean "Archery hero"?
@@dezdannaselaphiel8634 in DC young justice there''s a character named artemis
The last of the elves, the psychically gifted and technologically advanced indigenous race of the world. Despite their advanced tech, centuries of peace had ill prepared them for when the Empire’s Expeditionary fleets arrived, and their cities were swiftly destroyed by the ensuing orbital bombardments. In a last bid for survival they took their 3 best scientists and a genetically perfected clone, and sequestered them in cryopods in a hidden vault, this being known as Project: Artemis. A thousand years later, after the coupe of e3.1202 had lead to the secession by the Corella star groups and greatly weakened the Empire’s grasp on the rim, the elves awakened and the first step towards reviving the elven race was to Eliminate the threat of the empire from their world.
wait I have a cool what if the events of the Empire Genocide predated the formation of Badgerhold, somehow gets his eyes repaired and went to planet to planet wiping out empire planets, the eventually meets the unrecognizable Badger
Rimworld is a series I wish to see continued in the future.
A grim dark future...
I see you have a good taste in youtubers
@@TrueChaoSclx he made such a convenient phrase for when I can't think of anything to comment.
Wow, Hazzor, that was fantastic! What a hell of a story!
Side note: I'm gonna download ancients and give combat extended a try.
I think it's fate that moments after I subscribed you uploaded a new video. Kind of crazy but hey, I'm not complaining :p
Tremendo video Hazzor, un placer ver la calidad del contenido, cuidese padre!
Artemis the hero we didn't want, but the hero we needed
The moment gauss weapons start becoming widespread the same antigun governments would just make new laws banning them too.
7:20 the best bionics part
love your storytelling man, keep it up. 🙌
This video is what pushed me to play nodded rimworld thank you and you've got yourself another sub now
Artemis plucked his own eyes out, as he knew, if he saw what he had caused, he would go mad. And a mad artemis can't be stopped
Love that Age of Empires music in the background :D
best one yet! Hopefully we see more of Artemis as he genocides other worlds.
Wow, high praise, glad you liked it.
Super soldier? This seemed more like a super villain to me
10/10 content.
Got you more or less running in the background every time I play Rimworld. Very good entertainment.
Bionic Arm
Bionic Leg
"Bionic Cook..."
Lmao.. that got me off guard...
I had a similar colonist, much less genocide-y but probably had more kills with a similar modpack. Bionic everything, Assassin, super strength, speed burst, and martial artist. Also a persona assault hammer from rimsenal. She would killskip in, solo a tribal raid, and have her psyfocus completely refilled.
This build left a man with a 372 damage bruise to the torso, equivalent to a rhino running straight through him.
Another excellent video! Loving the recent Rimworld content, it’s one of my personal favorites so I always like to see it played.
That was amazing! Id love to see a series like this.
I saw that little cry for help, considering the bonesaws coming in his immediate future.
the music you choose for your videos is always somehow from a game i love and i want you to know i appreciate it highly
I like to think that the Joywire was playing DOOM music in his head throughout the ordeal
I can only imagine that Artemis sounds like Adam Smasher with the borged-out voice
I hope you make a series called the Revenge of Wang which is about a peg legged survivor after they got struck down by Artemis
Love your work! Keep the up the good work.
(also Rimworld looks really interesting but i simply do not have money)
I've only been subscribed for a few days but i am so stuck i'm ending up watching all your videos. Keep it up my man!
I’m trying this challenge out. Modpack isn’t quite as insane as yours but I’ve got a Genie, a bug dude, a bat, a dwarf, a tree woman and a cow girl going from tribe to ultratech and working on turning an orc farmer into the most powerful empire slayer I can create, through gene editing, extended psycasting and the best mechanical limbs on the market. Last major event was a vampire crash, who we’re now working on recruiting.
I've only just found your channel. It popped up on my feed. Loved it! Can't wait to watch more. Subbed!
I think drop pod raids also used to target them but I usually played with the Rimatomics mod so that's never a huge issue for me.
Who woule win:
-An entire army of futuristic imperials with excellent armour and guns OR
-A single elven supersoldier boi
Man, Rimworld has come a long way.... I'm glad Combat Extended is still keeping up though.
I still remember setting up roofdrop traps and laughing as raiders bash on solitary doors supporting a wide roof overhead and watching the hilarity that ensues
Alternate diplomacy, also known as ORBITAL BOMBARDMENT, is a rather effective way to relinquish the food from tree huggers
14:45 "I was there Hazzor, on the 1st of Decembary, 5503. The day the honour and dignity of elves failed."
I only discovered you yesterday, and am already in love with your content, but the moment I heard that Age of Empires music kick in...
Oh you know how to make my brain go happy.
love the FTL music so calming yet mysterious.
When you say he has to "keep moving on" at 17:07, all I could think of was the theme tune to The Littlest Hobo.
The Littlest Murder-Hobo, perhaps?
Basic space marine training for Artemis I see... The emperor is intrigued
So he's a cyberphsycho Buddhist monk, spartan
Broooooooo, UA-cam just recommended this video to me, I've never played rimworld before, but you make me want to play and experiment with mods😂😂😂😂. You just got another subscriber. Love your voice and content!!!!!!
