Pilgrimage is a christian word. It describes a relgious journey to Rome, Jerusalem or Santiago de Compostela. Today the famous "Camino del Santiago" is still very popular with 100 000s of people doing it every year. Islamic pilgrimages developed a few centuries after the christian ones.

No. it is not mainly islam. Pilgrimage has existed since early Judaism which was thousands of years before Islam was even created.
Many religions have pilgrimage of some kind. Islam is just the most practiced with pilgrimage a major part of the religion.

Yeah, Poland has encampments and soon it will have Winged Hussars, R.I.P. Though the two seem to be friendly since they have not yet fought and managed to establish open borders.

08:30 that was Catalonia territory (you point almost exactly to Barcelona), Aragon territory is aprox from the encampment of Madrid to the mountains in the north (the Pyrenees), 4 tiles in a diamond shape. But you where close enough, congrats on your geography knowledge ;)

The Pacific Ocean being so small in this map is really a game changer for Japan. I fully expect Japan to play a major role in North America in this game. Trust me when I say that first city is only the beginning.

How do you do these videos? I would like to do one myself.
I feel like Norway and every Scandinavian civ used during the Civ 5 AI battles is always screwed because the maps never have the full Scandinavia in it. Luckily for Norway this game, they've made the best of a shitty situation, but I feel like Drew should start using maps with the entirety of the world in it, so that Civs in the northern-most parts of the world have a better chance.

Not alot of wars going on.. Some agressive AI behaviour would have been great

I kind of feel like the winner should be the AI who has captured most cities, but at the same time that doesn't really reward expanding and settling.

I think The Congo, The Aztecs & Scythia will all do well, but I think the Aztecs & Scythia will get stuck in war too long & get rebels so the Congo will be the big success maybe

Strange AI behavior for France, they're not usually so reluctant to spread out in my games, and they just sat on a settler for dozens of turns

U should try the same thing with deity AI. They are too passive for my taste atm. Some may disagree, but the wars we are seeing are just awful atm

The Sunshine Boys I think he meant evangelize, as they're trying to convert other cities. Pilgrimage is just the act of visiting a holy city (Mecca, Jerusalem, Santiago, etc.)
