I just had mine done 2 days ago. Was you wrist done with endoscopy or open surgery?

Thank you for doing this video for I am schedule this Friday for the same two procedures you had done. It helped me feel less nervous. 😊

I had cubital tunnel release on my right elbow three weeks ago tomorrow. Piece of cake! Never took anything for pain, not even a plain Tylenol. I still have a little numbness in my 4th and 5th fingers but it’s so much better than before! I stopped wearing a sling the second day and was able to sleep all night the first postop night! My scar and elbow is a little touchy, tight and burns at times. I’m still at a 1lb weight limit but I’ve been doing dishes, mowed the yard, folding laundry. Wish now I’d done it sooner! At the 2 week appointment Dr told me he had to do an anterior transposition and cut into the muscle to tack it down. It was so compressed it was shaped like an hourglass. Was miserable for six years!

Thanks for sharing. I’m on day 3 and I had minimal evasive surgery on both. What helped this far is exercising my fingers and lightly moving the elbow throughout the day. I started this process day one after the surgery. I don’t know if the option was given to you, but I chose a specialist that specializes in both procedures to allow minimal scaring and a speedy recovery. I didn’t do any narcotics, just alternating between ibuprofen for the swelling and Tylenol for the pain. Combination works wonders with little discomfort. Thanks again for sharing.

Thanks for this! I am now 2 weeks post-op and had my follow-up to see how I am healing. I wasn't sure what would be best to use on my skin and was between Aquafor and vitamin E.

My question is did you have pain after the 14 days?

It's my 2nd day and I'm terrified. I went in because of intermittent numbness in my pinky and forefinger and thumb and now my pinky and ring finger and half of my middle finger is fully numb and tingling like asleep constantly. I can still move all my fingers but they feel wrong. I'm so sad thinking this is the new normal and feeling ripped off cause it feels like I'm worsened instead of cured. Has your numbness gone away? Anyone have extreme numbness that eventually went away??

I'm 10 days post op an i still have some numbness. It takes time because everything is so swollen. I'm slowly getting better. This takes time you can not rush things. Ice & elevate

What did you do when it started itching

I used shea butter so I didn’t experience a lot of the itching.
