Thanks for this. I just got a Model 3 RWD a couple weeks ago and I was messing around with AutoPilot and the FSD preview. FSD kind of freaks me out, but the AutoPilot seems to be just enough of an assist that I still feel like I am in control. Thanks for all the discussion of the settings. Very helpful and I learned acouple things that I will play with tomorrow on my next longish trip out to a client's house. (I'm a computer consultant.)
@@Mase63425 Yes. It is available to All Teslas as long as you pay for it. You can buy it one time for as long as you own your car. This option is $6000. Or you can subscribe to it on a monthly basis for $200 per month. I have a 2022 MYLR and I subscribed to it for one month. For that time I enjoyed all the features he’s talking about in the video.
That sounds like an exciting plan! Tesla's enhanced autopilot features can make driving a unique and advanced experience. Keep in mind that technology evolves, so there might be even more advanced options available when you reach that point. Happy driving!
To enable Navigate on Autopilot, touch Controls > Autopilot > Navigate on Autopilot (Beta). Then, to customize how you want Navigate on Autopilot to operate, touch Customize Navigate on Autopilot: Enable at Start of Every Trip: Choose whether to automatically enable Navigate on Autopilot for every navigation route.
Just put my order for my model 3, this is so much more thorough than the Tesla videos they have on the app 😂 thank you sir! Definitely helped me decide on which to buy 🫶
I wouldn’t pay 6K upfront for it, however, the $99 subscription I would get it if I had a road trip that I was going on and cancel it right afterward and only use it whenever I needed it. luckily, my Model 3 came with it. My Model Y, I use it periodically with the subscription
@@JustFrugalMe Very great videos. I saw the chrome handles on your 3 so I figured you had a 2019 or earlier M3. I sold a 2018 M3P with FSD. My new M3 LFP has 3 months free FSD but I will not pay $6K for lane change, which is the only useful of the four features. I have no interest in self park, summon and Nav on AP. I never used summon or Nav on AP because they just were too buggy. I wouldn’t even pay $99 for lane change. I have gotten used to the turn signal window and the rear view mirror. BTW, the FSD is scary, and useless in my opinion as it has so many bugs that I have to disengage almost on every trip. I live in Atlanta.

How come my Tesla 2023 Model Y doesn’t have summon feature 😮
Because no USS on +2023 Model 3/Y

The Summon feature is a part of the $6000.00 Enhanced Auto Pilot feature.
