If your like ham and pineapple pizza, find a pizzeria with a great old world pepperoni with pineapple. The sweet salty savory combination is great! Always hunting backup ECBPs
As good as Calumet 16 is, it is still readily available in my area (Northern Illinois) for $124. I need to get a backup bottle. I have OF SB Barrel Strength, but harder to find. I like to keep extra bottles of OF 1910 and 1920, as well as Buffalo Trace and Weller Special Reserve. Love your channel.
Currently I am enjoying Saints Alley the Herald (seems to be readily available at Total Wine), OF 1920, JDSBBP (enjoying slowly), and ECBP

Calumet 16, The Senator store pick, Sagamore barrel strength store pick, Barrell batch 32, any JDSBBP. I agree the Redbreast PX and Midwinter are backup worthy but can’t find a second.

I don't wanna bias my list, so pre-watch, mine are Stellum Black Equinox #1 (two back ups), Sweeten's Cove Kennessee, ECBP A122, and of the handful of ECBP store picks we got in OKC this year, the very first I came across...way back in January, at a store near OU...fortunately the next week I was in town for another meet, and it was still on the shelf. I won't count the rando Remus V that I found last Friday!!!
As I watch...we've had multiple Jukes, I haven't decided on Calumet 16, I'm okay with one MWND, I am now at three Remus V backups available...I think we will be a solid month+ behind y'all with Remus VI, I did get a KC12 backup. Time for House of the Dragon...

I went on a bourbon hunt last weekend and found it at one of our local liquor stores. I live in a really small town in Georgia so I was surprised to find it.

Nice list! I’m on the fence with Calumet 16 as it’s $160 in my area but I hear so many good things about it. May just have to pick in up to see what all the hype is about.
Do you like a lot of barrel influence and oak notes? That can be a big “love it or hate it” profile for people. The barrel notes in C16 are good ones…if you like that sort of thing. If you’re not sure, I would highly recommend try before you buy at that price point.

Let me preface this by saying that in the early 80's my experience with Johnnie Walker was not an enjoyable one. Close to 40 years later in early 2021, I saw a new Limited Release bottle at Total Wine - Jane Walker by Master Blender Emma Walker.
Bought a bottle & opened it that night. Immediately went to Total Wine's website, bought 2 more & picked them up the next day.
Later in the year they pretty much vanished from the shelves. By chance I visited a Total Wine I hadn't been to in ages. I bought the last one. Got home & checked the Total Wine website. Not a bottle to be had in Metro Phoenix 🥃😎🤙
This bottle is still in the box unopened & in the back of my armoire 😁.

Wish I could find Remus Reserve, I’ve found more Blantons at $10 over retail than Remus reserve

I’ve seen Knob 12 EVERYWHERE in Missouri, but where I live in TN, I haven’t seen a single bottle. Interesting someone else noticed too.
At least I can find regular BT releases and oodles of Blue Note down here.
