tekken was never made with leverless or overlapping inputs or straight up cheating in mind. I’m still on the fence about leverless kbd, wavu, slides, shaheens ws 3 loops so much easier on leverless but my brain is just too used to pad or stick. but just straight up cheating regardless of leverless is just pathetic. i’ve faced a handful of cheaters on console and yes i checked training mode and input. i’ve seen console people with auto duck and auto parry macros
I have a hitbox that I don't use since I'm a pad player and im tryna wavedash but like it's not as fast as I do it on pad can you tell me how hitbox is better to do this and how I can get better
This is truely why i am falling out with Tekken 8...At launch I enjoyed this game alot since it's the most current Tekken. As time went on you see majority of the leaderboards full of cheaters (Fought a ton of them ranked and it was super evident.) Now we have this...I don't know if I should be mad at the developer for not doing a single thing with these cheaters...Not to be sound super mean...But Tekken 8 is a casual gamers wet dream. Now we have to worry about some random online using this just to gloat about victories and state "nah get good"... Crazy times
It truly is a casuals wet dream. I destroyed a fraudulent God Of Destruction the other day and he just plugs the game to not lose a second time. The amount of pluggers and one and dones will be an inevitable end for tekken plus the cheaters.

macros kinda the easiest ones since plenty of controllers offer the option reassign your buttons. i wouldnt worry to hard though, historically cheating on console is much less common just because it isnt as easily accessible.
@@blackheart59_ On NBA 2K it is used for getting perfect shot timing, so regardless of your shooting coverage/contest , you always get a green ( perfect shot), basically the zen shoots for you with 1 button. in tekken terms will probably be used for 1 button electrics, wavedash, taunt jet upper and so on.
We can go full philosophical and ask what is even the point of cheating anyway: imagine having to sleep at night knowing you are a fraud and your executional skills are fake. 🤡💀 As far as I understood, this is a macro device. It maps a button to the execution of a scipted input. In this case, the cheater mapped R2 into becoming f,n,d,df (crouch dash) Cheats like auto-duck, auto-low parry, auto-throw break are very unlikely in console so far, but you can never underestimate the capacity of these people to go such lengths in order to achieve illegitimate means to win at any cost.
And that’s a shame. Tekken 8 has been out for almost 9 months now and me and all of us are going to continuing this suffering pain for everything online including rank😔
Heihachi patch is supposed to fix ranked, they need more/better anti cheat methods though, they crazy part about consoles is that you can buy a modded controller. On pc yeah you can run something like anti-cheat or whatever to block out cheating software like macro runners, but how do you block out hardware on a console?

Even on games like diablo 3 ps3, i used to run into cheaters that would manually download their save files from the console, upload it to PC and modify values of items and then redownload it and copy it over the original PS3 savefile. Would make sense for the PS5 to be just as accessible.

Zen or Max not sure, its used a lot for macros, improving aim assist, and so on, maybe it also works for m&k on console; thing is i dont know any game that managed to do something about it actually and sony apparently doesn't care (?) I think Rainbow 6 iirc can ban you on console for using it, idk how; but yeah looking at t8 and all the problems.. 🤷🏿
I thought more then a few months ago cronus got like a softban on playstation. even the cronus devs had to address it because the work around was playing through remote play or something like that and people started getting strike packs and whatnot

Different form of cheating you cant download scripts for example so no auto block or parring the wd hes doing if i were to guess is a prerecorded action set to his trigger so all he needs to do is press and you can also macro performing more then one action simultaneously on a single button binding d and f to a button to get a perfect df for example hope this helps

And it is banned, you risk getting your console banned for using this and lets say even if you can use it, you have to dedicate an entire button to a script, meaning you cant play normally without the script interfering in some way. These scripts from this device are only macros, they cant do things such as auto-duck or auto-punish. The macros can still overlap with in game actions causing them to do something they dont want or it overlaps with other button presses, it's not as viable as you think it may be.
@@blackheart59_ Np, my friend has this thing and its more of a party trick than anything else. he has a ch df2 PEWGF script but because cronus zen doesnt detect anything in game and is just macro... everytime after i block his df2 i can just launch him cuz the escript always follows with PEWGF even on block. All the device is, is an adapter that allows macros. Nothing more, nothing less. Figured i'd shed some light on this.
Lets be real, hitboxes do the same thing with like 4-5 hours of practice. Compared to the thousands of hours of practice it takes on stick / pad for kbds, electrics, wavedash

It's not new. I have played against a few cheaters using PS5 at least half a year ago. But most cheaters are on PC.
