Yes it is but to a certain extent. It’s dependent on where he’s at in the ranks, time of day and if he has cross play enabled. For a game like Tekken 8 to have cross play enabled makes the pool of opponents MUCH larger than the average game without it. Also most streamers who happen to face each other in matches it’s more or less sheer coincidences rather than on purpose cause this is still a freshly played game. Also, this game arguably favors him more than Tekken 7 cause he’s higher ranked here than the last game. It’s just if he manages to play any of the actual Tekken players or players who actually spent time playing the game, he’s getting mopped regardless of character choice or game mechanics.
