Coaching in between matches/sets definitely shouldn’t be considered cheating. Just think of it like a boxing match, in between rounds the fighters go to the corner for coaching and a bit of a break. The same could be said for taking a break between matches/sets in a fighting game.
Got asked, "what are you doing" playing tekken. I wasn't sure what they meant, then they explained that they wanted to know what "cheats" I was using, lol. I was like, "I just use 4 buttons and a stick brah"

FGC spent so long blaming new controlelrs yet most of the time we don't dop enough to ban actual cheaters. I've seen people stream, blatantly cheating, as in it's in their stream title, 100s watching and nothing gets done. At least in other genre's devs take it seriously it's a free for all in the FGC

heres a funny think about fighting games: cheating has some limitations, because if you for example make a hitbox the size of the stage, you will see that happen, but not your opponent, causing a desync.
thanks for the video, 2 topics i am super interested in, fighting games and cheating... the wonder if someone is cheating is so annoying like in rainbow 6 siege, cod, gta 5, that it does make me steer away from it or create ways to handle it. Guess it comes with the greatness of playing against players not in the same room as you. Keep up the good work. The cheaters need to be exposed ha, weirdos. Just believe in yourself to improve and dont give in to shortcuts or unfair advantages.. dont be a bad guy in a fighting movie haha..
Covering your inputs in KoF is smart. Some players are watching your controls to see your next move and react to it. That's why Xiao Hai is using that box, to cover his tendencies. Other players do that as well.
I don't get why looking at your opponent's inputs is cheating? Am I supposed to selective tune out information? I hear him press a button I could go for the whiff punish, but that would be cheating. It's like an opponent accidentally show their cards to you. Do you make all the wrong decisions because you weren't supposed to see the cards? If you don't want players getting certain information they wouldn't have otherwise you shouldn't create an environment where it's easy for them to get said information.
And I was starting to like your videos too even if you're over representing League a bit but that disrespect to Dota crossed the line. At least get your facts straight bros...
Only time I remember being called a cheater was fighting a beginner is sf3 on fightcade. I got bored so I started spamming light dp with ken. The guy was so new he could't fathom that someone can do the input effortlessly so he called me a macro user. Thats what I like about motion inputs. After you reach a point where something you considered hard becomes easy, it makes you realize you don't have limits so you stop fearing going for the harder stuff.
These macros/input combo, anti-throw, auto-block, anti-air is a bigger problem than Capcom can't catch these players. What sad times we are living in 😢😢😢😢
I did cheating in MK11 and a little bit SF6 with the AutoIt scripts. They expand keyboard possibilities with one key random attack, autoblocking, staggers and command grabs. You can hit the opponent with different random projectiles using only one key. You can minimise timing between hits. You can automate easy combo punishments. I also tried neural network for recognition characters for the full automatisation. It works but no so fast and I'm a lammer coder for that stuff. Cheats are not a silver bullet and won't help you with the top players but it helps you to rise above average level. Also it's interesting engineer solution and you must understand game mechanics.
Than cheat in Single Player games ruining the experience for someone else for your own curiosity is just plain selfish and paints you more like a sore loser. Major small PP energy no offense.
he really said dota and then showed league... what a tragedy.
They're both the same brainrot shit anyways

very good take on this.
The only thing I would implement would be a set time like in boxing , right now at least in tekken some breaks are too extensive
Talking 12 minutes about FGC cheating and not mentioning pluggers in Tekken 8 is a bit strange. 😁
Because plugging and rage quitting is two completely different things
someone to finally explain cheating so 15arakin can't use it as an excuse

It’s Extremely rare in Tekken online, too
Skill issue
I ran into one cheater in over 700 matches.
@@DandyRaytona I count ragequitting aka plugging in ranked as cheating, and the game is filled with ragequitters aka pluggers.

People who cheat in fighting games have ED.
What is "ED?"
They have small PP Syndrome.

I think you forgot the mention the cheating software in SF6 when the cheater can insta-parry anything or insta-jump if you try to throw the them.
Yeah im sure ive played cheaters in sf6, it’s ridiculous
Such a missed opportunity
There are cheaters in every game. Why would fighting games be any different? There's some code of morality among pluggers and gen fragile is there?

I've legit thought about incorporating fake physical jukes and whatnot into my SF6 gameplan when I go to locals
I'm going to assume by misnaming a game intentionally you have no idea what you are talking about. Downvote and ignore channel.
