@@ryuhoshi9381I can confirm as an Australian that we do have very violent lightning storms mainly I n the outback and the grassy plains. Even in our cities and suburbs that’s prone to getting lightning strikes hitting powerlines frequently
Ryu's rivalry with Ken is pure, wholesome and all in good fun. Ryu's rivalry with Akuma is torturous, bitter and resentful. But it's Ryu's rivalry with Sagat that's really something special. Because of Sagat's constant drive to improve himself for no other reason other than to just be better, I feel like he is one of the very few street fighters who understands Ryu on a level unlike any other. I honestly think it's my favorite rivalry in all of SF really. It's always magical whenever the wandering warrior and the king of muay thai face off. :')
IIRC, didn't M. Bison take advantage of Sagat's rivalry with Ryu to recruit him into Shadaloo? Like he basically used Sagat as a means to get to Ryu. Thats how I felt with him in SFA3 at least.
@@vegapreferred9344 in his ending Sagat talks about learning a new move, a better one, and does a Tiger Uppercut in his ending Tiger Blow was the processor
Honestly, I think Sagat and Ken are Ryu's true rivals in the right direction. Ken is like the ultimate training partner, whereas sagat is the ultimate test. Sagat is literally the strongest ryu faced that didn't use any psycho power or the Satsui no hadou. All three of them, win or loss, keep improving. They even overcome the stresses of power, revenge, sadness, evil in there journey. Its just about the fight. They don't want powers, no hatred, no trophies, no shortcuts. Its only been about the fight with these three in the end.
Great video! Brings back memories! If any of you are fans of classic capcom music, check me out; my music is centered around CAPCOM's CPS2 style compositions!
My best street fighter is RYU and my brother Bryan trained me how to fight both in video games and real life The best street fighter fight we had was Ryu vs Sagat “him” in alpha 3 he used a special scar pose that made Sagats attacks stronger …. I’ll always remember that fight ….
This stage is amazing
+Metsu Hadoken this stage seems a hell with these thunderstorm.

Muay Thai vs Kyokushin
Absolutely one of my favorite stages to play on.
My favorite to
This stage always gives me goosebumps
Same
Same.... it's just amazing
I love how this sets up Sagat learning Tiger Uppercut by SFII and replacing Tiger Blow, really nice touch considering Alpha comes before II.
Great observation, I love when games do small things in the continuity like this.
He learned the uppercut from this fight?
@@vegapreferred9344 in his ending Sagat talks about learning a new move, a better one, and does a Tiger Uppercut in his ending
Tiger Blow was the processor
sagat is a restaurant that only serves tiger.
and Ryu is a Loyal customer.
+lasheron not really lol.
Awesome how they used the same stage as the animated movie
Probably the best stage and theme of all Street Fighter...
“You still haven’t recovered from our last duel.”
DOUBLE ENTENDRE.
Basically the climactic fight where YOU get to play as the boss, and the CPU gets to show how technical the Protagonist can get.
I spent £64.99 on the SNES original SFII cart in the UK back in the 90s - still the most expensive single-game purchase of my life! ;)
worth every fucking penny mate!
Worth it!
The build up and the stage and music. All works. Great memories.
This stage is just EPIC! And we must thank the animated movie for the inspiration behind it.
@Vale Sauce It's actually the opposite. The movie came first.

Ken is stronger in a sense. Have u watched the live action sf film? Not the Jvcd film. Its on UA-cam. Assassin fists it's called.
The music is so good !
Sagat: "I have something new for you".... TIGER, TIGER,TIGER, TIGER, TIGER, TIGER, TIGER, TIGER, TIGER, TIGER, TIGER, TIGER, TIGER, TIGER, TIGER, TIGER, TIGER, TIGER, TIGER, TIGER... HAHAHA!!!
Ryu: Shoryuken!
Sagat: Tiger Uppercut!
(Badass Rising Punch!)
The stage, the effects and the music are amazing. Very deep
i wish this stage comeback on sfV if sagat return
Sagat returns and today they announce the stage
you play this during the LAST notable obstacle in your life that your trying to overcome
sadness and cathartic is what im picking up here in the intro song
I simply love this song and stage.
Rivals of all time! One of the best fights in the world!
I remember the quarters/tokens put into this game. I miss the good old days of arcades.
Oh my GOD I miss this game so much. I wish my old skool PS3 worked.
Street Fighter 2 The Animated Movie Brought Me Here!
Sagat is the greatest character in all of Street Fighter, there's just no other chracter as developed.
Ken is a close second.
@@Hillthugsta 😂😂😂
My God, this had to be the hardest version of Ryu ever. The only way I could beat him was by keeping him away from me and spamming tiger shots.
Just like from Street Fighter 2 The Animated movie!
DEUCE2CON The Tekken fan! Yep, I think that was the inspiration behind the stage.
Esse tema é simplesmente sensacional.
I say this is a interesting stage.
My favorite game
Not 1 damn tiger uppercut. Smh
Great fight!! He almost beat yo ass tho😂😂😂. He get extra difficult when its 1-1
This stage is unlockable in the Super Nintendo version!
Muy buen escenario y musica, que lastima que no lo volvieran a repetir en los nuevos SF
Eso lo hace mas unico, pero creo que usaron este escenario en Street Fighter V
Pretty much Sagat's face turn
TAIGA!
0:11 I wish that Sagat was a Hero!
I remember that street fighter 2 movie animated first opening ryu vs sagat
The music is epix
1:10 good bread and butter Ryu combo
Great video!

did you do a theme for this stage from a2? if so whats the name?
I actually did two themes; search CPS2 Originals-Australia, and CPS2 Originals-Australia Revisited.
WizzyWhipitWonderful your composition of this stage is awesome
Australia Next Stage for Street Fighter V Very but very soon
I wish I could find this song from the actual arcade!!
***** Here you go! ua-cam.com/video/boSnQyLUlcE/v-deo.html
+Team RetroBlue thanx dude, i appreciate that!! it's close, but still not the arcade version, this is still the console version!!
***** Damn, but I am happy to contribute, no prob :)
+Mineyurn711 It's the arcade version, but in a original Q-Sound hardware sounds much better, that's the problem with emulators.
I think I found the version you are looking for...hold please.
so Ryu jobs out for Sagat so he can get over his revenge he didnt actually fight seriously againts him
Ja fiz esse final na versão de snes
Street Fighter’s equivalent to Magneto vs Professor X…
1:16 Genocide? Not a nice man, that Sagat!
super Nintendo or Sega Genesis???
raidenkeify Arcade
This game wasn't in sega genesis dude, and the snes version is ASS
ryu is so young on snes :3

Sounds like a good brother, man
Back when Capcom was king.

the only reason i remember alpha 2 for tbh
You must be a casual
@@chriskeepit100 you must be a old dusty boomer
Esse cara que ta jogando com o sagat nem sabe jogar direito, só fica na guarda.
Ericles: isso lembra muito o Street Fighter 1.
Super Turbo is better than all the series of two with the super jauge, Akuma, turbo mode and the four news challengers and them stages.
