I know this is from two years ago, but I've gotta point it out to *someone* I finally figured out the "resting here is illegal" thing... If you're somewhere where resting is illegal, you just "wait". Which isn't illegal. The differences is you don't regen health and you can't level up. IDK why they had to make that message so confusing.
@@evildiesel1709 Bruh it's not that hard to figure out. Barely took me 15 seconds to find it on my first playthrough 2 days ago. Fargoth stops by the tree stump, turns around and then walks off into the distance, never to be seen again. Should be an obvious clue.
I knew the play through was going to be good when you were able to read that intro before it disappeared 🤣 can't wait to watch the rest of this series. Your voice is great to listen to and love how you give everyone a voice. It's great! Thanks a lot
Sweet. Always enjoy finding a new Let's Play of my favorite game of all time, especially if it's someone who has never played it before. Not sure if you looked this up before hand or not, but male(yes gender does affect your base stats) Redguard under the sign of the Lady is basically the best choice you can make in terms of hp gain per level. It's essentially your Endurance/10. The absolute highest you could have gotten would be 85 if you had made a custom class, but a 75 End will still help you out for your first playthrough. Major and Minor skills affect how you level and they increase faster. You need 10 increases spread out amongst any of those 10 skills in order to level up. The misc skills don't help you level up, but increasing them will also affect your multiplier bonuses to increase your stats when you level up, so if you have a particular stat score that you want to boost you can work on raising an associated misc skill to help out. Not sure if someone already explained that particular mechanic to you already in the comments of a later episode, since I stumbled on this about a month after you started and am about 30 episodes behind right now.
In Oblivion and Skyrim I rarely play redguard but imo redguard is the best race for Morrowind. You start off with a bonus to speed iirc and good all around combat skills. Then paired up with either the Lady birth sign or the Steed you will start off really well. The Lady for good endurance (high hp early on and all that) and the Steed for very decent movement speed early on. Then you have the Adrenaline Rush racial power which is amazing all through out the game. I usually prefer a race with any sort of magic resist (so I obviously prefer bretons) but in morrowind having high endurance and speed is crucial imo.
i loved this game so much. Played it first on og xbox with super duper long loading screens that were almost always 1.5 minutes minimum. BUT IT WAS SOO GOOD.
okay, i actually never finished morrowind and this game landed on my pile of shame so at least im gonna watch it i hope because i heard its really long game so i expect like 300 episodes XD
The quiz kinda screwed you by making you a Barbarian 😛 Redguards are the best race in the game at Long Blade, you could have started with 50 if it was a major skill. It also gave you both Axe and Blunt, Light Armor, Medium Armor and Unarmored! Having multiple melee and armor skills is a bit of a waste when you could have had magic or other skills instead
Not too bad. Grew up in Scotland (till like age 21/2) without getting a strong accent, watched too much american media and then moved south for like 2/3yr (as of when this video came out) so the accent is completely messed up. :)
Almost like I ran though character creation so that it flowed more quickly into action at the start... Trust me, if I had played it before the sections later where I am completely lost would just be odd. :)
Caius is pronounced KYE-us (it's a Latin name). Uriel is pronounced YOU-ree-ul (it's originally Hebrew). Go into the settings and tick "Always use best attack". It's much easier to fight that away.
Ah, yes. Seyad Neyan. My favorite city in Mororwand.
I like Balmora, where Casssius Cosayds lives.
Talks about liking to help and protect the weak, proceeds to steal all of Fargoth's money and help his bully.
Considering that Fargoth is a wood elf, isn’t it deserved?
Episode 1, Sweet! Another 699 to go.

My favorite and THE Best of The Elder Scrolls!
immediately reading an entire book out loud is a power move. i GOTTA watch the whole playthrough now
I'm impressed you got the Fargoth stash first try, seen so many people get stuck trying to get that quest working
I highly doubt it was his first try.

The trick to pronouncing Syad Nyan is to yawn halfway through pronouncing each syllable.
Wow, so long ago so many memories. My first character was a redguard too.

Oh, the memories! It was the perfect time to make a drink or use the loo.
Xbox screens could take longer once in a while cause the game would reboot to save memory
@@angelobarros3499 Wow! I had no idea it would reboot lol. Thank you for sharing that
Excited for this! :D Great start! :)

this looks promising! you seem to be a very pleasant guy and I'm looking forward to let this lets play soothe me..
What a beautiful LP! And I liked your commentary and playing style! Subbed mate.
IT BEGINS!
Your accent really is all over the place, shifts between northern english/scottish sounding over to american in the same sentence😂

25:30 I told that sucker to "pound sand"..haha (I'm laughing my butt off because I gave Fargoth SUCH a hard time :-D
"The game crashed a lot, apparently, we've basically got rid of all of that stuff."
Oh, my sweet summer child XD
so excited!!
Did you ever download the QOL mod for Gathering? It makes it so you Auto gather the things instead of needing to click Take All every time.
It only took you 4-5 months after I told you to play it at once. :)
Fairly quick by my standards. :)
We need an oblivion playthrough now
It's funny, for a guy playing it blind and for the first time, he knew every inch of the caacrter screen and how the differnt versions work...
Almost like I ran though character creation so that it flowed more quickly into action at the start...
Trust me, if I had played it before the sections later where I am completely lost would just be odd. :)
Never Mod Morrowind!!!!!
Idiot played as a redguard😂
You play this game for the exploits and memes
Story? What story?
how are you playing this blind when having it modded?
I haven't played the game before but I installed mods. Seems fairly straightforward. :)

Hype
Oh boi; if you have trouble with "Seyda Neen" (Say-Dah Knee-In) then have fun with later names :D but Ive thoroughly enjoyed the first episode 😁
I'm certain I get English wrong 10% of the time so fantasy languages are screwed. Glad you're enjoying the series so far. :)
Nice voice but wow you are really inserting your own letters and moving others around when you read names.
Yeah, it's a problem. I tend to have bad takes the first time round. I do tend to improve as series go on as I take feedback on it. :)
You not GONNA READ every book you find are you?.. cause that will be a very very LONG run .. 8(
