I tried that and voila, DRASTIC improvement and took five minutes. Doesn't fall backwards and tumbles forward over obstacles that used to give it fits.
Really don't think you can beat the SCX24, in the US anyway. Better availability for parts and upgrades, not to mention, probably being the best out of the box to start with. But be careful when buying, they are NOT the same. Other than the suspension arms and bodies, the two I bought had different radio/esc combos. The C10 I have came with a 2-channel radio/esc, and the lights are on all the time. The JLU I have came with a 4 channel radio and has the lights on a switch. The bodies are obviously different, but the C10/JLU have different suspension arms than the Deadbolt/Betty.

I got mine from Amazon. @kingwallyrc should have the link.
While discussing wheel weights and making sure you get the right size... if you can't get them for whatever reason, you could always remove the tires and wrap some lead electrical solder around the rims. Cheap wheel weights. LOL
Very true, although the tires are glued to the rims on most RTR crawlers. Remember you’re also essentially increasing the diameter of the wheel and decreasing the amount of sidewall, but it would almost certainly work.
The scx 24s all have different length links and body mounts
Yup.
Good video. Um...Deadbolt green...yeah...hmm. Last time I saw that color it was coming out of Linda Blair's mouth in the Exorist. I'll pass. LOL. I bought the red.
Omg now 10k oh and I got the rgt it’s in my hands rn hahaha
Excellent choice.
I love it
Where's the cr-24?
