The addiction is getting worse, but my foot is getting better. The surgery went well, and doc says I should be sorta kinda mountain biking by Spring. Stay tuned for new things in Moonshangle Thickets!
We all hope you get well soon. And don’t rush your recovery to much to the point where you hurt yourself. Thanks for still putting out awesome content giving the circumstances.
Can you make a video on different cameras. I’m looking into getting either a canon g7x or EOS Mark ii but don’t know much about the subject
u need to say thanks 4 driving with me today at the end
Thanks for posting today Seth, history class was getting boring
Why didnt you talk about the mercedes 6 by 6 in back of the video
Seth goes to therapist: therapist, "so is it a drinking problem". Seth: "no its buying rc cars"
😂🤣🤙
It’s not a problem, it’s a solution
The real problem is the injury which made it necessary to find a replacement for Mountainbiking.
but thats not a problem
Rc cars are amazing
I can’t thank you enough Seth! My boy and I headed out to HobbyTownUsa yesterday and picked up the C10 and the Deadbolt!
Spent all day in the woods with these awesome little crawlers! Upgrades are on their way! You Sir, rock!
me: “bro come on i follow for bikes”
also me: *continues to watch intensely as seth talks and takes videos on rc cars*

It’s the best day when you get a berm peak notification.
Yep😂

heck yeah
Absolutely
Seth looks 10 times younger when he shaves😂
He really does😂
Every time😂
He looks 12!😂
Really? He seems to look worn out and thinner
@@wasabisdaddy I really wanna write "well no shit sherlock" but I'm going to be nice. He's been recovering for quite some time now. I partially torn my tendons in my right knee last year, which led to "only" 5 months of resting the leg. Which I am bad at, since when I broke my thumb at 10 yrs old, I rode bmx in skatepark for 14 days with the cast on my left wrist... 5 months of riding a bike using my left leg (cause I'm just stubborn and my arms are too weak to handle walking on crutches to and from college), and my right leg got to about three quarters of the size it was before. Quite literally. I have jeans, that are slim fit, which fit me almost as leggings would. After the 5 months, they were loose around my right leg with about a 3-4cm gap...
The cycle starts again. I see a similar interest and level of passion here. Keep it up! Owned my first full suspension for about a year now and you got me thinking of my first RC car!
Hawe you bought one yet?😅
He should make a rc trail!
He really should
He needs to

I just wanna say thanks Seth. I was watching the rc crawler videos and soon after I bought a 12 scale rc Jeep for around $70 on Amazon and it is my new favorite pass time. I think the rc content is a good idea. Keep it up. 👍
I cannot thank you enough for this video. This perspective is super helpful and completely breaks me out of stuck mode as I try to get into RC Crawling. This was just incredibly helpful.
He is definitely addicted now, I mean he spent 1 million dollars on a Mercedes 6x6.
Nope they are like $600 bucks at most.
haha, that thing is a beast. My buddy at Traxxas sent that over, and I honestly couldn't even believe it.
@@RealJawnes he's talking about the real 6x6 that cost a mil
@@BermPeakExpress when are you going to use that beast
@@RealJawnes Good job genius
Now we just need a ten-scale Seth to ride inside of his RC trucks 😂
That was one of the best explanations I've ever heard of getting into RCs
Got already 2 of the 1/24 scale ones. Love em! Thanks for heading me in that direction.
MTB: spending $200 to reduce weight
RC: spending $200 to add weight
xD
No reducing weight is also a thing on rc it depends what your crawling on
Me: those RCs look like a fun indoor activity during these days, I'll buy one.
Seth : They come with a bunch of extra parts and accessories.
Me : oh, no, here we go again...
Have a traxxas summit. something like a 1\8 monster truck. Bit more of a basher than a crawler, but does come with a low gear...
And drive train and suspension is more or less all after market parts now after snapping or twisting various parts due to the twin motor setup, have a set of tracks to throw on, those cost a fair bit..
Yah, fun hobby xD
Not gonna lie....I'm currently on Ebay looking at RC Crawlers haha. Love this stuff!!
I’ve been doing RC crawling since I was eight and not gonna lie it’s been so much fun, also just funny to see a tiny car go like seventy degrees upwards on a rock bed and make it over easy.
Watch kevin talbot he gives good recommendations
@@daraghmythen1198 he gives good recommendations from bangood
If you’re getting a micro crawler I recommend getting the Axial SCX24 or if you want a 1/10 scale get the Redcat Gen 8 or Gen 7 pro
He should get a kickback im buying mine
Love these rc videos as I’ve been into rc crawling for about 3 years now! And also mountain biking my entire life
So Seth, I just got my first 1:24 crawler and I have to admit, you're absolutely right, the amount of fun you can have in such a small space with a micro is awesome! I have 1:10 scale cars including an Axial SCX10 Trail Honcho but today for the fun of it I bought an Enduro24 Sendero Trail Truck. Great little truck.
dude when found out seth was making rc car vids I was so hyped. I love rc cars and have been bashing for around 3 years.
Same!!!
I love how Seth is still making videos even though he is hurt
Gotta put food on the table I guess lol, props to his ingenuity tho
Exactly he’s trying his best to upload interesting content which is awesome
I love that you're also into R/C, Seth. It's such a great companion to riding MTBs. Yet another reason to get outside!
100% agree on getting the small-scale first! I recently got one, I wanted to get the 1/10 trx4 so bad. But all in, that's at least 600 bucks when you factor in the cost of the battery & the charger if you don't already own one. I picked up a 1/24th scale instead, had literally everything I needed in the box to run it as soon as I got home, even came with batteries for the radio. It's a blast to set up little courses using random household objects in my living room, but truthfully I really don't use it that often, so I'm glad I didn't shell out six or seven hundred bucks on the 1/10 scale. I think I'm going to get one eventually, I do have a few places near me that would be fantastic for a large scale crawler, but I'll wait till the weather gets better.
I did a 24 scale for almost 2 years before I straight up built a kit. You can ball out or save with a kit. The painting process is a blast too.
Most rtr trucks have a kit counterpart.
I think it’s time for a 3rd channel just for these RC crawlers...
I agree he should build a track to

Had to have surgery on my hand and I’ve been out of bike riding for five months now. I got into RC cars doing speed runs by watching one of your RC jumping videos.
Keep it up!!
I really enjoy watching how you find creative ways to still make us viewers happy with your injury. I am exited for you to make mountain biking videos but in the meantime thanks for still putting out content!

4:46 we need a vid on that 6x6 monster Mercedes in the back.
that’s the traxxas trx6
@@Diego-eh2nm Well yes, but the body is a brabus-Mercedes g63 amg 6x6 soooo...
@@TrafimN definitely but us in the rc community know it as a trx6 and since it’s only the mercedes or the snap on tow truck that came in the trx6 base
@@Diego-eh2nm yes, that’s true, I do a bit of RC driving myself, I just kinda love cars and so naturally I want to call them by certain names but I guess yes, trx6 would be the more correct and technical way of saying it, and the shell around the RC car isn’t that important. Thanks for sharing these crawl videos. Reminding me of years ago when my late father tried seeing if my brother and I would be interested in these as kids. Now that I’m a much bigger kid I kinda wanna try again.
I will be honest with you. Every bike related stuff is really not my cup of tea, but every RV video I've seen from you are pure gold. Keep it up man. I bought my first crawler last week, SCX24 Wrangler. Amazing beast.
Love the rc videos, just can’t wait till you get back on the bike :)

I always get sooooo exited when I see you uploaded. Hope your doing well. Also fun tip you can unplug the lights for the desk so you don’t get blinded.
Seth just wanted to say thanks for the content while your healing
This channel went from building berms to bike reviews to RC cars...love you seth
bro thank you so much for this video! I'm looking into getting a crawler and this just makes so much sense
I’m so glad you got into rcs. I was literally thinking one day..... can u imagine if this guy got his hands on some rcs. And then the next day literally u came out with a micro crawler vid. Now look at ya. Ur obsessed like me lol!!
Can we all appreciate that beautiful syncr in the background
Micros are what brought me back to the hobby. They are fun and don't need a lot of space. Great vid!
Dude, I'm a huge RC nut, but got into bikes not too long ago and I subscribed to your awesome channel. But I see that you've been reviewing Rc's too, I love you man!
Seth: “with truck mannerism”
Also Seth: scrapes the back bumper off the line like a drag racer
I don’t know why this has helped me more than any other reviews
Very thorough and well put together video. Thanks for this.
You did put a lot of upgrades into your micro. Very cool . Thanks for sharing
Seth! You should totally have Traxxas send you their Slash 4x4. You could ride it on Berm Peak and have so much fun with it! Like so he can see :)
isn’t that what they sent him? he did a video with a traxxas in it.
@@8.21productions9 Traxxas sent him some crawlers and an XMAXX as far as we know. However, to start out with a car that is fast and can jump, (aka not a crawler), you don’t want to spend that much money. The XMAXX is $$$$. The Slash would be a good entry point vehicle, and I’m sure would get numerous people into RC’ing.
Today 6 years ago, Seth started his Seth bike hacks/berm peak yt channel. Congrats Seth!
Man such a great take on so many different topics. Thanks and jeep it up 👍🏻
I love those little trucks, and it's all thanks to Seth. He's not joking about how capable they are or how much fun they are.
One thing I absolutely love about the scx24 is that it uses the same driver bit all the way around the car
Love the RC vids keep uploading!!!!
Just getting into this hobby. Thanks for the video, very useful in helping me make a choice in which one to go with first. That slow crawl at the end was awesome, seeing that left front wheel off the ground just makes me giggle.
I love RC cars and appreciate your enthusiasm. There's a mtb park about a mile from my house thats about to open in spring. I dont have a mtb but I have multiple 10th scale rcs. KEEP UP THE RC CONTENT!! also i watch because of you and your editing style and to learn about mtb's cuz im stoked to ride the new park!!!
Seth is turning into an rc review channel and I like it
This has literally turned into a rc channel
Super great video and information about what new people just starting this new hobby. Also great to point out the small Crawlers.
This video helped me through one of the worst days of the life your one of my favorite youtubers thank you
Please make your RC videos longer and more in depth. Love you Seth!! Get well soon!!
Another thing, at the lower weight and lower speeds that these go at, you won’t break parts as harshly or as often. My traxxas broke pretty quickly and haven’t fixed it since.
Love this new rc content on the channel! As we can't really move in France I spent my time on fpv drones that also need lots of time to control!
Cool video, thanks for sharing your thoughts and content!
No one:
Seth : how to discretely use your rock climber in the park
The best part about the big ones is they’re easy to work on and you can make them more your own. Motors, drivetrain, gear ratios, suspension, wheels, etc are much easier to upgrade
This is a good point. There is a lot more you can do with winches and custom light setups etc as well.
I've watched a bit of your content over the past few days and I love your relaxed but enthusiastic approach to your videos. I'm the other way around, been into rc since the 80s but (apart from some national level bmx as a kid) looking to get a hard tail and do some MTB. I feel this channel could be a fitting home for me. Very interested in building a 1/24 layout too. Hope you've recovered. Subscribed. Neil.
I dont care if its bike related, I love old school bike makeovers actual shredding or this new RC stuff. Regardless I'd watch everything you do. It's so well produced and always entertaining
I'm addicted becouse of you, Thanks Man!
Thanks, it means a lot to me, i am a big fan
I personally started with 1/10 as there wasn’t much options in the 1/24. I had 9 big crawlers before I bought my first micro crawler, and man are they good! In my opinion, they are more enjoyable (depending on the terrain) than some of my 10th scale. I have 11 micros crawlers now, still an addiction
Seth I just bought a 2021 marlin 5 and I also have the traxxes slash and I love riding some where with my bike and then driving my rc car on the way when I find some cool rc car spots
Keep up the amazing content
Love the channel , mountain bikes and rc crawlers ! My Axial scx 24 is my favorite right now , so fun anywhere.
Next year you’ll see seth with his new drift car.
1 year later: "Should you buy an RC Crawler, or build a full-size?"
Not the same price range at all, but I get the joke
@@mrskitz338 man's gonna be balls deep in a real crawler, but they're pretty fun.
A lot of the RC crawler guys I talk to at our local shop actually come from the full size comp crawler scene but are tired of all the costs associated with a real life rig.
Im really enjoying this content. Thank you.
Hey just wanted to say this video was really useful! Been contemplating getting my first crawler and immediately was thinking 1/10th of all the reasons you mention without thinking about the negatives. Now looking at 1/18th to start with so I can use it more in doors. Thanks again!
If Seth finds out about hardbodies and all the detail and accessories for them his addiction is going to get 10x worst
like TF2 he is done
There is always an extra clip at the end of his vids
I’ve been crawling for about 7 years and I had a 10 scale axial wraith it’s a Jeep Wrangler and I love it and the video was great too keep it up
I love the rc content so much please keep doing it
I have a feeling he’s gonna buy a real Jeep now
Is anyone else gonna say how much younger he looks after he shaved?
Love the new look Seth!
After a number of Seth's RC videos, I too have become hooked on RC... Bought my first truck last week, broke the body and the steering. Thanks Seth, for continuing to spend my money for me!
Ever since Seth has been makin videos about these it makes me want to build a course in my backyard for a micro crawler
I wonder if he will eventually make a trail just for his RC's....
Everyone that’s been asking me what rig I would recommend ALWAYS gets me with the same answer as yours.
Get a tiny crawler, you won’t be out of a lot of money AND you can take it literally EVERYWHERE
I just picked up my first crawler a few weeks ago. The scx24, this video is spot on. I'm going to finish upgrading the bronco and move on to the trx4 bronco.
Thanks seth I got this really helped me figure out which crawler to get I got the Axial SCX 24
Every one of those micro crawlers is sold out. Guess you're doing a good job promoting them Seth!! 😂
