I'm female and old. It is SO REFRESHING to watch your channel. Real gentlemen doing as gentlemen should. Thank you, a gentleman, for being out there STILL. So many young men need this.
I love how your channel is much more than clothing and dress. This holistic approach taken in helping men become gentlemen, inside and out, is very much needed in this world and appreciated. Keep up the great work.
I have completely stopped expecting any respect or courtesy when out in public. "I do what I want" seems to be the standard rule of behavior for most people. I'm only responsible for my behavior so I try to be polite to others and it's very pleasant and welcome when it's returned. Though I stopped expecting manners from others.
It's funny because he uses it with no harm meant whilst most people will use that term when thinking of themselves as better as the 'common folk' whilst Sven is just trying to get his point across xD
The world does seem to be getting nastier day by day. Sharing your thoughts in this video is a subtle but powerful force in restoring civility. I admire the way your personal style in clothing reflects your personal philosophy. The fact that you dress in a way that bucks the trend toward slovenliness shows personal confidence which in turn indicates that you’re ready to respect the unique worth of anyone you meet. A true gentleman doesn’t need impress others and doesn’t demand that others impress him. His graciousness has the sly effect of inviting others to rise to his level of confidence tempered with humility. I’m grateful for your work.
I am so happy that I found your site. I enjoy the information found in the videos so much. A great help for people like myself who aren't looking to alter their looks, attire, or behaviour for vanity or as a way of getting ahead, but simply seeking to put their best selves forward. Thank you.
I’ve personally witnessed this firsthand. It was a couple of days ago and I was on my evening shift at work, and there was this guy who was dressed like a 21st century gangster. I didn’t judge him because he could have been a nice person. However he was yelling into his phone on speaker. He was yelling things like “MY NAME ISNT JASON, ITS SIR!”. I ended up feeling kind of bad for the guy on the other end for the way he was being talked to. Unfortunately there was nothing I could do, and my supervisors couldn’t either because he wasn’t doing anything to violate the store policies or endanger the other customers.
I'd love to be a part of your team. That I am afraid is a pipe dream. First, I am retired (nearly 63). Second, I live in Kansas City. And third, I could only be a contracting consultant. A part from those exceptions I'd love to come and join in the fun. It is fun isn't it? It looks fun.
I struggle with criticism, I feel that if someone isn’t in charge they can’t give me criticism cause they shouldn’t be. Yet a lot wish to rule over others
I need help! My parents want me to stop buying suits! Because they say that my closet is “too full”! I try to explain to them that I want to be well dressed but they respond aggressively like yelling in a high tone voice and yes I try to respect them as I can (BTW i’m from a Mexican family) so what can I do? 🤷🏻♂️😟
Yes sir, I did hited that, but when you speak can concentrate instead when the other guy speaks. Don't take it wrong, neither you or him. Is just that you have your chevalier karizma, status and character not many have it. With all do respect, your big and young fan!
"don't use strong words" is definitely not a correct lesson to learn from the "19 things men shouldn't wear" video. Words should be chosen to match what is being described. Generically avoiding strong words can lead to you understating things, which is a flaw unto itself. unless someone is taking inspiration from historical peasants or is in a similar life situation to a peasant, it is exceedingly unlikely that they will literally look like a peasant, so people will look to how peasants were perceived in history and popular fiction in order to interpret your statement metaphorically. Peasants were perceived as lesser people by non-peasants, and it is uncommon to see peasants depicted perceiving each other through the lens of the word "peasant". As such, your remarks will be interpreted as "it will make you look like a lesser person". There are exceedingly few clothing choices that will reflect negatively on a persons character in the eyes of a reasonable person. Appearance is subjective, so a statement of appearance will have a subject inferred. "You look like..." is almost universally interpreted as "I see you as...", so your remark was interpreted by many as "it will make me see you as a lesser person", and at this level of deconstruction, I think it should become obvious why people found the remark offensive. It's not the mere strength of your words -- it's the actual meaning of the words. For completeness, the alternative interpretation of "you look like..." is "other people will see you as...", which leads to "other people will see you as a lesser person". This is a statement of little value. a confident person does not need unreasonable people to think highly of them. So in the best case, the statement says nothing, and in the common case, it presents you as an unreasonable and snobbish person.
Great video. But Raphael, fix your tie, man! The knot on that thing is always hanging off to your left. I know you prefer the four in hand knot and I'm not sure if this is a hallmark of that knot, but if it is there are lots of other tie knots.
Great vid! Ironically I've found that earning respect in this way makes jerks less jerky towards me. They become less defensive overall.

The acting, my God, the acting.
Not any worse than the acting on the typical live-action Disney show.
@@ronaldmalcolm5609 by any means
Your role-play acting clips are HILARIOUS! I would pay for an office comedy film with the three of you acting in it.

Preston's acting can put Lionardo Dicaprio to shame
His acting is nuanced; I like to think of mine as "accessible." :) Thanks for watching!
- Preston
Your tie knot is perfection!
Thank you
I was slightly irritated that it was crooked lol. You look great though, Raphael!
Sven Raphael Schneider and Preston, the dream team. You both are great people and chivalirious gentelmen.
please don't stop saying "Peasant". It cracks me up every time 😂
It's funny because he uses it with no harm meant whilst most people will use that term when thinking of themselves as better as the 'common folk' whilst Sven is just trying to get his point across xD

This vid should be shown in UK schools to kids aged (say) 14 plus, and then followed up. More use than some parts of the National Curriculum.
+ RESPECT /San Andreas mission complete theme playin'/
Very good video on basic Gentleman's behaviour. Description and comparison can hit the bullseye much more precisely than insults.
The acting was hilarious xD - Good job. Definitely a memorable video!
Preston's New York Italian impression is um... lacking. Lol. Good job guys always entertaining.

Thanks Raphael & Preston for such an important topic covered so politely 😎
Thank You for the video. Very educational, Sir.
i love the very subtle camera movement to keep us engaged
New Subscriber today. I like the look book at the end of the video. Classy, and helpful for sure. Thank you.
Use more of that acting and less stock photo pictures. It's more organic and fun! Also great videos!

Hey, thank you for these videos! What a neat niche you're filling.
The channel is getting better.
I bet you guys had so much fun filming this haha!
Congratulations from one of the ladies and nice choice of bourbon there (3:39)! 😊
Since Preston has a beard, he looks like a good father.
This video have a lot of information. Gotta watch it again later. Thanks!
just t-pose to assert your dominance
Ye, I am all for continuing the “peasant” thing
The way Preston was carrying himself trying to muscle Sven. Where is Pesci to help Preston understand the error of his ways.
I struggle with criticism, I feel that if someone isn’t in charge they can’t give me criticism cause they shouldn’t be. Yet a lot wish to rule over others
We are all the heroes in our own stories ... 👍😉📖...
Thanks for sharing this video
I’m not a gentleman but I’m binging on your channel
Are you ever going to release more fashion-forward accessories?
Ie: colored velvet , grenadine bow ties, velvet pocket squares, etc?
I need help! My parents want me to stop buying suits! Because they say that my closet is “too full”! Preston would look gorgeous with a beard!!!
Thanks so much
Press "F" to earn respect.
That meme is a bit dated but I still find it funny 😄
Fantastic video.
I would greatly appreciate it if you continue to refer to people who wear tennis socks away from the court as 'like a peasant.'
Would love to see a proper beard on Preston!
I'd like to try it, too--but alas, it's not to be. My facial hair is too patchy! Thanks for watching.
- Preston
I think a Moustache is more suitable for Preston, It would give him that Clark Gable look.
Great video, thanks a lot!
Amazing new hairstyle,preston
I had found the D-bag comment from the other video funny. What a good video. I wish I could show this at my job!
Great video, thanks
Simple. Let others press F.
This won't work in college. Something to be done at your workplace.
Why not?
Aus welchem Teil von Deutschland kommen sie eigentlich ?
Der große, blonde Kerl kommt nicht aus Deutschland. Ich glaube, er ist ein gebürtiger Minnesotan.
I enjoyed the peasant comment
Yessir! I like it!
We miss you Sven!

"Hello and welcome to the Gentleman's Gazette. Today we are going to show you how to [BLEEP] like a gentleman.
I get it - your family was quite talkative. But not interrupting a person is simply kindergarten good manners. It was good you changed.
A gentle man needs some humor😁
Number 10: pressing f

What is that nice artwork behind you Mr. Raphael? I find it aesthetically pleasing, and would love to know where to get it.
Please, tell me the name of the music in the intro, or something similar

The ‘J’ word shouldn’t be used by a gentleman. M.
An observation. Your posture is kind of wrong. You need to keep your back straight and your neck back.
😱😅😅😅😅😅Very good!
Don't be a peasant, be an #alpha like Sven
Please stop using profanity in your videos. It actually causes a loss of respect for me.

Your mom must be proud of you ;)
I'm truly sorry but can you make fashion or item videos instead since all about personality changing video never increase any of my aspects thank you
Your comment makes it seem like you can in fact improve on the way you deal with others.
