I watched the twitch stream a couple weeks ago and again recently. The amount of time spent just on a hour video for the Tubes U, has to be overwhelming and is absolutely a big commitment.. Lots of us appreciate what you do and love the channel. We Hope to keep seeing you in New videos. 2 Cents from a random Hillbilly, nobody asked for! Please, keep it fun and interesting FOR YOU!!! Don't worry about what everyone else wants to see, wants you to do, blah, blah, blah..... It has to be exhausting and draining, and incredibly frustrating, trying to make everyone happy.... I watch all the videos. Not for every caliber, chamber, barrel length, or the hundred different topics you explore. Work on what makes you happy and excited! We are lucky enough to follow you on your journey. To be honest, I enjoy the channel and am really trying to encourage you to keep making videos. Avoid the fatigue and burnout. Do what you do, and when you look back, I think you will find us all right there watching. Nobody cares what caliber, platform, magneto, lab, suppressed finally blows your face off? As a big 6.5 Grendel guy (and someone who's learned a LOT and had a lot of help with load development for _your channel_ ) I'm looking forward to this one and I'm interested in the round.
It's on my list! I've got some fresh Lapua 220 Russian cases that I need to form into a new batch of brass for that rifle. It's going to be an interesting and challenging process. If I can get back into the swing of things and start putting out videos regularly, that is on my short list of projects.
Yes!! JRB is back and working on a 6mmARC like I am!! I’m using an 18” Proof Carbon Fiber barrel for mine. Make sure you use an adjustable gas block! I’ve had great luck with Reloder-16, IMR4451, and H4350 using the 100gr+ bullets.
@@anthonymurphy2540 that’s one of the few plus sides to being a dealer, I get to buy stuff for wholesale. Still not a cheap barrel, but I wouldn’t buy a cheap barrel anyways when looking for accuracy.

One of my Favorite videos ! When he gets that 108 ELDM .35 5 shot group at the end you could feel his joy! FWIW, Besides Hornady's expensive 1 Shot Case Lube , Lees case sizing lube also dries to the touch and is a great sizing lube. I put a finger swipe into a ziplock bag and shake the cases in it and they all are coated easily with a very small amount and NONE is wasted spraying all over the loading block etc. I have had the same Ziplock 1 Gallon freezer bag and used it for years now. 😊

I bought a 264LBC barrel the day Hornady released this 6ARC.. So had to put this on hold for a little... I'll be buying a barrel soon.. then all the components to reload.. the bullets will be easy for me as I also bought a 6 creed.. k, I'm rambling... talk soon.
Glad to see you back reloading! I've learned a lot from watching your videos. I just finished a first cut on some 6.5 Grendel reloads following your load ladder process. I had pretty good results, best was 0.75" with several others under 1". I have high hopes for the 6mm ARC, but I doubt I'll switch at this time

So after watching your 6 ARC video , I thought wow what a lot of stuff to keep in mind. So the next day I take my newest rifle (6.5 Grendel) to the range. It's an AR platform nothing new here ,because I have a bolt gun in 6.5 Grendel. So I took so of the ammo that was loaded for the bolt gun and a box if factory ammo, to check gun function and to sight in that all went OK . All the problems you were having , was similar to the problems I was having. After morting a few rounds to get the fired case out I pulling the bullet out of one that wouldn't go into battery, I called it a day. I found a video you did about different chamber dimensions of the Grendel. So I guess I'm going to have to go thru a process to get the right size case and bullet setting depth. So thank you for your videos they are very helpful, I don't feel like I'm the only one that has screw-ups.
Lucked out and got a die set, stripped upper , 18” proof barrel, bolt and now looking for brass. Hope it shoots as well as my 6.5 creedmore. Really enjoy your videos, keep up the great work!!!

After watching this video yesterday I’m officially beginning to build my own 6mm ARC. Purchased the upper and forend and once the Odin 18” barrel comes in stock I’ll be placing an order with Odin.
Grafs had brass yesterday and Mid-south shipped 100 to me yesterday, I’ve been sitting on this project for a couple of months, I’ve got the Odin works 21 inch barrel, I ‘ve got brass actually in the mail now and another 80 rounds of the Hornady Match coming from Palmetto. So almost good to go, picked up the Hornady dies early.
Great video, glad you're back! I'm very interested in seeing the 6mm ARC work-ups, also really like the idea of gel testing the 103gr ELDx and some of the popular hunting bullets ( 85gr GK, 90gr AB and 95gr BT) at ARC speeds.
I’ve probably watched over 100 of your videos and I’ve never heard you more tickled than that 108 ELD-M/CFE223 group. It’s awesome to see someone so excited with their hobby; keep up the great work!
Isn't it a great feeling? My first load with a new bullet shot a half inch group too! I was extatic! Unlike you, I don't shoot that small a group often with my 7mm-08. It sure is fun. Glad to see you back enjoying yourself.
I've assembled my 20" 6 ARC but haven't had a chance to shoot it just yet. Waiting for the Hornady Precision Hunter ammo to become available. I have a buddy that is with the DOD group that helped develop the 6 ARC and he told me that his group is loving the new 6 ARC. Oh well love your videos keep up the good work.

You are costing me a fortune, first was the 300 BO and three lowers and five uppers later I have three set up for different applications. Wow a lot of reloading and a few years later....I have now decided to check out this 6mm ARC. Here you are, so here we go again. Keep up your great videos. I live in central Montana and have numerous large mountain chains along with the Missouri River Breaks country "CMR", Charles M. Russel Reserve to hunt/shoot. Sage brush, deep canyons, juniper canyons and thick timber. This take at least two or three rifles of each caliber to fit the application. Lots of Johnny's videos and rounds later I will find what works with the 6mm ARC. Let the journey begin.

Everything that I have studied indicates that shooting ammo that is jammed into the lands is going to cause unsafe case pressures.

I've assembled my 20" 6 ARC but haven't had a chance to shoot it just yet. Waiting for the Hornady Precision Hunter ammo to become available. I have a buddy that is with the DOD group that helped develop the 6 ARC and he told me that his group is loving the new 6 ARC. Oh well love your videos keep up the good work.
I wish we would have had the 6ARC when I was in the Marine Corps.

GREAT VIDEO!! Just in time. I have bullets, dies .... brass backorder finally in, too. Just waiting on barrels. Glad to see CFE223 working. That was going to be my 'go to" powder for this. I'm going to try the StaBall 65 also. Just loaded up some 224 Valkyrie with 88 ELDM and StaBall today to test out tomorrow.

You are costing me a fortune, first was the 300 BO and three lowers and five uppers later I have three set up for different applications. Wow a lot of reloading and a few years later....I have now decided to check out this 6mm ARC. Here you are, so here we go again. Keep up your great videos. I live in central Montana and have numerous large mountain chains along with the Missouri River Breaks country "CMR", Charles M. Russel Reserve to hunt/shoot. Sage brush, deep canyons, juniper canyons and thick timber. This take at least two or three rifles of each caliber to fit the application. Lots of Johnny's videos and rounds later I will find what works with the 6mm ARC. Let the journey begin.

I had a set of dies that would give me stuck cases often and the one shot worked for me. Haven't had any issues since.
