Did the taillight provide enough light for the license plate or did you end up having to add the light? I am looking at this same setup for my XSR900 and being in California I am curious about the license plate light.

Hello, no problem. It’s an Austin racing exhaust. I’ve seen bikes in Japan with Austin Racing exhaust’s so they must ship there. Haha! It would have been nice if they had some kind of factory direct integrated turn signals. For at least the US market, our silly DOT statutes prevented them from integrating the signals from the start.

The taillight is sufficient for sure. Nobody would notice you don’t have a dedicated license plate light. You’ll be just fine.

I love this kit. Just be prepared for gravel on the seat when you get off the bike. And I dont even ride on gravel. haha
