I cried during the horn scene last night. And then again watching you cry 😂. I loved so much about this episode, that even though I had a couple major gripes, they didn’t detract from how much I loved it.
This episode was 11/10, so damn good. My non-reader wife and son were having the same reactions I did to this episode. So many bookcloaks forget that they have to balance both perspectives and they nailed it. Side note, your audio was waaaay quieter than your intro and outro.
Ohhh I loved watching you. Such a respect of the wheel of time Craft. Great full for you mentioning Lan. And mat I think their roles played and paid off so well at the end. It was worth the anger we had of their story lines previously. Loved it. Love n peace everyone 💕
"Whitecloaks why are you shooting an innocent person" my headcanon is that particular White Cloak is book-level incompetent, and he actually aimed at Nynaeve twice 😂
It seems entirely in character for a Whitecloak to aim at the 'witch' that they think the damane is, but it does make sense that hitting Elayne was a mistake.
Late to the party here, but Elayne was right next to a pair of what the Whitecloaks assumed to be a "Yech! Women Channelers" team, and given that the Whitecloaks have very binary thinking then since she was "with" the enemy she must be one of them.
@@MalkierTalks rosemand and josha spoke about season 3 briefly in an interview this year before the sag strikes talking about turning up season 3 up another notch. I'm pretty pump to see it.
Loved watching your reactions 😆❤️🤣 There were plotholes aplenty around motivations, around the Whitecloaks on horseback then not, around the prophesy vs Moiraine conjuring a big fiery dragon, but I still thoroughly loved the episode due to so many emotionally satisfying moments and sheer spectacle and just how beautiful the scenes looked.
I love to see your reactions because it's almost the same as me. I screamed, I laughed, I cried, I yelled WTF, and cried, and cheered....they drove me crazy with this episode.
First time viewer here. I enjoy the reaction. There were some huge moments in the episode for building that hype, making those eyes well up, and for some people to get what's been coming from them. I've read most of the books at least 6 times, the early books over a dozen times, and the later books 2-4 times. Differences really bothered me in season 1, not to the point of me hating it, but for certain scenes to just really get on my nerves. The changes in S2 though, I honestly don't even care. There are some things that I would prefer to be different, but I still loved it. I don't like the way the horn looks, so it was kinda funny that you loved the design. Having the horn give Mat his memories back is a little weird, but he's been getting the short end so much up to this point, that I don't even care. He has finally arrived, and I was so ready for it. At the end of season 7, I was really worried about how many plotlines we were going to have to leave hanging, but instead we hit one after another, after another, and I loved it. For a bit of feedback on the video, your volume is only about 30% compared to your Intro/Outro, and even with the volume all the way up I found you hard to hear. Maybe it was just me, maybe it was just this video, I haven't watched any others yet to compare.
Thank you for watching, I did make a small sound level mistake in rendering & didn't catch it until much later. (It was 5am as I was editing :( but thank you for the feedback) I was the same about ep7, but it really did come together well. I very much view the show as separate to the books and so far I love both! So glad about the quality increase between seasons though
And like all of Rafe's deliberate decisions , it has destroyed the adaption. He should stick with actual Wheel of Time content instead of giving people Rafe content in Wheel of Time locations.@@astronaimee7215
Wonderful reaction! I lost it in so many places, but especially the 'spectacle' moments like blowing the Horn and seeing Uno, Hopper 'flying' 😭, and even the flaming dragon (which was a smidge cheesy) got me swept up in the moment! I'm so glad it was a good finale, not gonna lie I was a bit worried, but I'm very pleased over all. I look forward to lots of analysis while we wait for Season 3!! 😁
I cried hard at hopper. Yes there are changes from source and you need to suspend some disbelief at times but i was emotionally sucked in and totally engrossed the entire time.
Out of all the reaction videos I've watched today, yours was my favourite 😊 made me laugh and cry with you. What an epic final episode to a fantastic season!
When Moraine lost her power she became convinced she would die soon and Lan with her. So she pushed him away. She sacrificed all the love in her life for the mission. She absolutely does deserve him.
Fun watching your reaction. I did a rewatch and so much more second time around though the emotional impact less severe. Hopper, I need say no more. Dain setup so well for S3. Do we get Fain with him? Does S3 start at Falme? I have hundreds of questions.
Loved your reaction~ Glad I wasn't the only one crying 🙈 This finale had me balling througout the whole episode, even on the rewatch. Thoroughly enjoyed it even though if I think about it there were parts were I have small quibbles but overall it was definitely a step up and makes me actually excited for season 3.
I cried during the editing so I'm not surprised folks are crying on rewatches. Definitely a couple parts for me that didn't land 100% but I'm super excited for S3

💙💜Rod, you are my favorite reaction for this final. Seing your face, eyes and hands when Hopper died was exactly what I felt inside. Love, love all your reactions through that episode.😍 (Uno, hero of the Horn, felt so right. His death was so hard on you.) We have been bombed with so much emotions, suprises, shocks, tears without pause for that entire hour. So much to process. We need 10 or 12 episodes for season 3 at least. At first watch, the pacing felt rush. Mat, Rand could have more developement in there transition to figuring stuff time to hero time. And Ingtar's death and story feel unfinish from my humble book 3 reader. We need more time. Other that, so much exquisite and exciting moments all through with that plot twist at the end about the Forsakens loose. I'm so hoocked by Robert Jordan's creation that I started book 2 after season 2 episode 4 and will finish book 3 tomorrow. I'm glad that I have the books to cope because I will be in serious craving right now. LOL. Wish the best for all of you until season 3 !
Thanks so much, I'm glad you enjoyed my reaction. I definitely agree we need more episodes per season. Hopefully if we keep saying it Amazon will listen.
My main gripe is in how 2 AS were using the OP as a weapon. Ok so even if Maighan were black, but Moiraine blew up a whole fleet of shops, how is that even possible? Otherwise, just a few minor gripes, this finale was overall spectacularly good in how emotionally moving it was
We dived into this on my livestream just after the episode finished. We think maigan convinced herself she'd die if she didn't so that's why she could channel. & Moiraine convinced herself that the world would end if she didn't sink those ships. Probably enough grey in those areas to make it plausible
Hopper flew! Matt Hero of horn!?!? No Snakes and foxes? Who are you??? Rand all doey eyed re Elayne, LOL Uno is Gaidal Cain! Next to Birgette and had 2 swords
According to RJ, if an aes sedai became so broken, she no longer viewed her actions as a damane as her own, she could break the oaths, because she wasn't acting, someone else was.
Dude, same here. I still feel so emotionally drained - in the best way - after watching the finale last night. They stuck the landing, they stuck it SO DAMN WELL! Your love for these characters and this world is so beautifully palpable and sincere, thank you for always sharing it with us.
Season 3 better have a cross over with Rings of Power where we have a Moiraine vs Gandalf "who can make the better dragon image in the sky" competition.
Matt finally remembering the truth of his past lives, rather than the lies Ishy literally fed him with the tea, made him realize he was a good person. Even a hero. Not the person Ishy was trying to convince him he was, not the bad person he though he was most of his life. That was a nice moment, we had to go through a whole season of rebuilding Matt (because of the issues from Season 1), but now Matt is truly and fully Matt again.
I really enjoyed this episode. I know not everyone did, but I loved it. As an avid bookreader I really had to put the books aside and just enjoy the story as presented. I always thought Uno was Gaidal Caine so I was really hoping for that! Wish that Ingtar's darkfriend reveal had been there, surely something could have been cut for the few seconds to make that happen, that really was my only disappointment of the episode. Egwene vs Renna - fabulous! Poor Nyneave with her block. Personally I would have preferred her to get Elaine to the sidelines before trying to push through the arrow (and the fletching should have been taken off before doing that and it needed to be bandaged before she walked on it). Hopper had me in tears even though I expected it. Now Perrin will have Goldeneyes all the time! Can't wait until he gets into the World of Dreams. Rand really needs to work on his weaves. Disappointing. But the Indiana Jones takeoff was great since we really haven't seen him practice his swordwork. Now that Lan is back with Morraine I hope we see more of that next season. And Lanfear vs Moghedian - WOW, was not expecting that and found it fabulous. Did Lanfear call on the Light to protect Rand? How far are they taking her away from the book? Really looking forward to next season!!!
6 was a Superb episode, then 7 dipped which made me fearful pre 8. it was actually Awesome, yes they switched shit up but i can live with it. it overall was Great. 18 months for series 3 😞

Maybe I’m wrong but the reactions seem overwrought in an intentional way- as if he already watched the show on his own and is over acting for the recorded version.
Terrible adaption. Every episode worse than the last. James Rigney would be rolling in his grave. The only question I have is will it be as terrible as Rings of Power, and it looks like it will.

Maybe I’m wrong but the reactions seem overwrought in an intentional way- as if he already watched the show on his own and is over acting for the recorded version.
I do not fake my reactions. Plus my acting skills are not that good. Otherwise I'd be an actor not a chef who youtubes for fun 🤣
@@MalkierTalks LOL okay I believe you.( I guess I gave you a backhanded compliment 😎)
Duuuuuuude! 😭
I knooooooooow 😭
Best fiction serie after GOT
Easily surpasses GOT for me
Ishy was kill too easy :/
Yep he's definately dead, totally wasn't another mask, nope....
This show is barely 5% faithfully adapted. Not sure what your seeing. "But to each their own"
I see significantly more than 5% but like you said to each their own
Worst fan fiction ever.
Thanks for watching
I hate the series

Dont like.
fake reaction is fake
Bot comment is bot
Lol did we watch the same show? This was worse then season 1 and I would say it’s belongs in fantasy hell with the likes of rings of power
Well there are plenty of other things to watch out there. Happy hunting
The episode was pretty bad imo
It was a shambles.
Terrible adaption. Every episode worse than the last. James Rigney would be rolling in his grave. The only question I have is will it be as terrible as Rings of Power, and it looks like it will.
His last name wasn't Rigby.
Fair point. Typo.@@darkhoundslobber2028
@@darkhoundslobber2028I see he edited it lol
