The West of Scotland Push Pull (and other trains at Croy)

47712 "Lady Diana Spencer" passes Croy on Saturday 30th March 2024 with the West of Scotland push-pull from Edinburgh to Oban and return. The "shove duffs" would have been a common sight here in the 1980s working the Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh via Falkirk High route.
The same train passes Whifflet the following day with 47805 (D1935) "Roger Hoskins MA" on the rear. It would visit Gourock, Wemyss Bay and Largs before returning to Crewe via Newton-on-Ayhr, Dumfries and Carlisle.
