    I thought the hardest part of having Emus in your yard would be them escaping and heading to Australia to join in the creation of an Emu homeland.

      @@Jeremy-rj9gi I was watching old Steve Irwin clips the other day & they were showing a female emu whooping on a male....it was brutal. Those birds are terrifying!

      The Australian Government is desperately trying to stop emus from returning after they fought in Syria due to the fear that they will radicalize our domestic emus

    U don't see children running around the yards & being so active these days. Most kids have problems with their screening time. This is wholesome & heart warming❤️

    We have a six foot fence for our emu's and have never had a problem leaving them out at night. I love your little farm. Emu add so much fun to our small farm. They are so silly.

    I hope you guys plan on upgrading your fence around the property. Emus can jump over 7 feet once fully grown.

    Bamboo really have a special connection with you guys. I think it's because you guys have spent so much time with him since the time he was born and he was a lone one until two blondies came up. And Bamboo is frickin cute, It always feels good when you interact with him.

    I love Bamboo so much! The twins are sweet too, but Bamboo has such personality. Since you all raised him inside with you I think he bonded so well with the family. Do you have to feed the emus a different diet than your other birds?

    I train all of my birds the same from when they first hatch, if I whistle come to me because it means that you're about to get treats. Chickens, turkeys, peafowl, emus, whatever, it works with all of them. I whistle at night and every bird comes running from all over the yard. And then they get a handful of corn or something.

    It’s very interesting how the bone structure of Emus is so indicative of how their dinosaur ancestors used to walk. I read a study online about a researcher who attached a prosthetic tail to his chicken. The bird’s hair changed and it stood a little taller too

    Here in Australia we all have Bald Eagles as pets. I take mine to the local beach to keep the pesky seagulls in their place

    Great idea with the harness, I totally understand the putting to bed routines... my ducks are not happy it’s bed time and it usually takes 2 or 3 of us to get them in so they are safe at night. It can be so funny at times.
