O out of 5 isn't good. While it could have been the handling or incubation, that there was no development or early death carcass, imo means it was unlikely any were fertile.
Ok 👌
Love from India ❤ love your video very much ❤
@@Auroraflair I agree to you
Opening a dispute with the seller is up to you obviously, but even if you decide not to do it, it might be a good idea to notify the seller about none of them being good, so that he might be more cautious about the breeding period next year.
Watching that hen tuck those adopted eggs under her so quickly was just the sweetest moment. 😊 Thank you for sharing y'alls life with me.
Awwwh, the frizzle hen worked so hard, I would have put a divder in there and give her 3 of those babies. But, there will be another time. Isabelle is now very gentle with the chicks and clearly wants to help and be part of the care. So sweet!💕💕
Personally, I would contact the seller and just tell the truth, I set all five eggs under broody hens, and at the end of the hatch time, none hatched, and upon examining them, they were all bad. Period. Then the ball would be in their court. I personally would offer you replacement eggs, if they don't, remember them when you order again. Best to you.
Well stated
True also you SUCK
Adorable, love how dedicated broody hens can be.
That slow gentle scooooooop of the broody hen 😍
The broody chicken protecting the 9 chicks was very impressive to watch
Your daughter is so smart and has such a soft touch holding the peacock chick! Beautiful
Bella's face when she saw the baby peafowl just made me smile, so adorable ❤
we once put some duck eggs in our incubator in november and they hatched on christmas eve so on christmas day they were able to walk and be strong
Exciting to see more all white peafowl genetics in the latest hatch! Even more excited to see those lovely birdies exploring the aviary soon! - Dakota & Angela
I feel the same way!
Your daughter seems to have a special love for the birds since she was just a toddler. She may be your bird expert in a few years.
❤❤❤
Yay! My favorite family is on again! I am so happy every time I see a video from you pop up. I am an old farm girl now living in the city and you just can't take the country out of the girl. I love your beautiful family and all you share with us. We are so fortunate that you share. God bless you and your family and your farm. I am thankful for you all.❤
Thank you so much, Patricia!
I love how hard you guys work to grow and protect your farm! Awesome job! I learn something new every video
So great to hear!
Your Children are Precious!🥰
Isabella has done an amazing job with chickens and and fowl she’s come along way and is absolutely adorable
Blue and Bell had beautiful babies. Congratulations
I just love it when you post
About 3 months ago my chickens were sadly slaughtered be my neighbors dog 😢
But we got five new chicks but 2 were roosters and now we have 1 buff Orpington and 2 Easter eggers and are about to lay eggs!!!
Your videos make my day
So sorry to hear that
Bella , the chicken whisper ❤❤ what a great family you are ❤
😊 thank you
Glad at least the chicks from home are doing well.😊❤🎉😊
Such a beautiful family, can't wait for you to release them in the avary.
1992-1995 I used to camp next to a nearby river. A farm right down the road had those birds. Beautiful to listen to at night ❤
Good gracious your daughter is delightful!!!
yay you guys got baby white peacocks❤
Oh how cute are your children. Your baby girl is running so fast and cute. How fast they're all growing. I love your videos and beautiful healthy family. You are still my #1 favorite channel. 👍❤️
Thank you 😊
So beautiful😍😍
Cutee🥰🥰
I agree with you on the egg situation. If they had a lot of negative reviews though then I think it would have been a valid reason to get reimbursed. Keep up the videos I love all of them :)!
Way too excited to see birds in the Avery
Me too 😊
Can't believe you tricked them AGAIN. Those Hens will never learn. So gullible.
I know, right?
Will you please set up a 24/7 streaming live feed for the aviary once you’ve loaded in the birds? I’m excited to see how the animals interact.
32 secs ago is crazy
@@TERREINATOR_TURBO I don’t understand
If I can figure out good streaming quality from a poor signal area of the farm, then yes.
@@whitehouseonthehill love watching your videos. Thanks, say hi to the family, y’all are amazing.
@@andylifer5302 u know like seconds

@@whitehouseonthehill you are for ever welcome
I just want to say I really enjoy watching all your videos! Keep up the great work, so wholesome, refreshing!
Thank you so much!
I constantly look for y’all’s videos I have loved your family since the first video that I watched . Thank you for sharing .
Thank you very much!
Congrats! Sure enjoyed watching!
Awesome!
When the chicken tucked the eggs so was so happy! Too cute!! 🥰 just look at her she is looking after them like they are her own chicks! 🐥 Also well done on the aviary! It’s very impressive! ❤🤩
I can't wait to watch this I always get so excited to watch your videos!
They are always so entertaining!
I think it is a good idea to talk to the seller and just let them know you dont think the eggs were fertile. Just let them know so that they know not to sell the eggs they get at the end of the season.
And then if they choose to do something and reimburse you then good but if not to not get mad at them for that.
They cant promise eggs would hatch and thats the risk of buying eggs instead of already hatched chicks.
I’m so exited for the day you release the birds in the aviary!! I hope everything goes well❤
Please introduce the birds in the aviary in phases to study behaviour and survival rate! You don’t want to put all of them in the aviary at the same time and something crazy happens.
Brilliant x cannot wait to see the birds in the Avery x
I love when a new video just posted notification pops up
A dirty baby is a happy baby. ❤
Love your channel, keep it up! 🙂
From South Africa
Was the start recorded in July? This video was posted today and it’s September 22nd.
Yep!
❤❤❤❤
Hello, thanks for sharing your family & animals. Love watching your videos. God Bless. I would just tell the person you got bad eggs, Just FYI. 💙💖 🙏 🐾
You are so kind
You should name the peachicks fall names. One brown one Apple Cider, one Pumpkin Spice, and the white one Caramel :D
Growing up we raised chickens, ducks, quail, geese and we always shoved different eggs under our setting hens. They never knew the difference. This has been done for hundreds of years.
Fairy confident that was a toad, not a frog. I grew up erroneously calling toads frogs. Now is a great time to teach your children the difference. Also there's a children's book series called Frog and Toad Best wishes
You and your family are the reason I own my animals I see how much you guys love them and it motivates me to
So glad to hear it!
Finally new vid
👍👍👍👍👍👍love your videos hope your channel keeps growing
Thank you 😊
Cant wait to see the birds in the big aviary !
Hey! I love your channel!
Hey Jake, Becky and Kiddos.
The Silkies love to brood don't they, she was smart to ditch the eggs👍.
Bella is doing awesome handling birds 🎉.
Hurray 🥳.
JO JO IN VT 💞
Yes they do, Jo Jo!
Cant wait to watch when u move the birds to the aviary
Wow
Your kids are so cute especially your girl
When will all the birds be transferred over to the Avery?
Trying to get equipment to get the last task done, then they can start moving in.
REALLY INTERESTED SEE YOUR AVIARY VIDEOS
I refuse to use eBay anymore. They used to be good but now seem to be allowing scam buyers to do what they want without any repercussions. It’s sad because I have had my account for 20 years.
Love your channel! You have inspired me to get my own chickens❤
Awesome!
I recommend getting some parrot beak aseels while they’re cheap and pure at the current markets.
- Chickens are easily manipulated. 😅😊
The real trick. Is to get the cat to nurse the chicks :)
😂
I think its a risk to buy eggs online yet worth the risk many times especially if your looking for a special chick.. I had bad hatch rates this year with shipped eggs but last year GREAT hatch!.. I always just expect nothing taking a risk and if they hatch a bonus.. There are so many variables to it from temps, to movement in transit and when you can get them into the incubator. Thank you always for sharing!
That's a great point
For sure, I am looking foward to buy some eggs from jake next year after my silkie project is up and running
One minute in wow😮its sad but part of life that death follows
I LOVE YOUR WONDERFUL CHANNEL!!!❤❤❤
Thank you so much!!
When I was like 5,6 year old,my grandfather found some peacock egg in our farm, we placed them under hen, they all hatched, some time later they return to wild but 1 stayed behind, He was very beautiful bird.
NGL I'm happy for you I watch ur video from the very early video when u had 600 subscribers now u had 1M hard-work pay off and looking forward to more videos
Thank you!
The thing is, isn’t it hard to tell if eggs are fertile or not in the start? Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong but that’s what I’ve always thought so it’d be hard to insure that ALL the eggs being sold are fertile
Impossible to tell from the start, but with no development at all, most likely they weren't fertile. That silkie frizzle did too good of a job to not get some development.
Sir next time try to incubate Serama chicken in Malaysia we called it. This type of chicken was the dwarf variety and it's kind of cute
Well Jake ypu certainly are a man with the right values, and that's awesome to see! I, too, would be disappointed. But I think you handled it perfectly!
Thank you, Tracy
Oh my! That can't be Isaiah! He is so tall and looks so old. 😢I have a granddaughter who started kindergarten this year and it just seems too soon.
Poste more i love those videos ❤❤❤❤
Thanks!
I would at least try to tell the seller. Maybe they were hopeful they would work and they just need to know going forward that maybe the time they had them was not going to work or something. Just so they are aware. If they give you replacements, great. If not, at least you tried to give them knowledge on what they may not know is going on with their eggs.
Please give us an update about the Indio Gigante and the Meat Birds that you have raised in your next videos, I wanted to know how you raise, Love from india❤
Thanks for your 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Just as a major suggestion for your pond in the aviary, I would put additional shallow areas or platforms in the deeper areas to minimize drowning from your non-aquatic birds. I raised chickens and some drowned in our duck pond because it was too deep for them to get out. The platforms prevented from future casualties.
There are a lot of shallow areas in the top and bottom of the pond along with rocks to wade in before the deeper area.
Hi👋
Let's be honest, did you really trick the chicken? Because my chickens will literally try to sit on and hatch anything......😂
It looks like the eggs were not fertile, but I'm not sure those chickens are big enough for such big eggs.
please video 4 of asking for wood ducks(for the aviary)
I like your vlog 🤗
Maybe give the frizzle some eggs from your incubator that are about to hatch in a day or two. Just thinking.
Those peacock eggs a big
Will you do a update on the pigeons
I named one of my ducks after one of y’all’s 😂
Not a frog but a toad 😊
After about 5 to 6 weeks you can sex your Golden pheasants by eye color. Blue eyes are males and brown eyes are female. Your clip showed two males and one female. Peafowl will go broody, but they need a lot of cover and privacy. That is hard to het in an enclosure. Often the hen will disappear for a month then emerge with a few chicks. This is usually the time when the free range peafowl are picked off by predators.
I raise chickens I always start eggs in the incubator until at least day 13 unless I have a very good hen, then if I have a broody hen I will test her with fake eggs for 3-10 days and only if I'm confident in the hen will I give them eggs that are younger than day 18
update on the pigeons?
Personally, I cannot wait until you put the birds in the new Avery every time you have a new video I think it’s going to be the one but I’m still waiting impatiently. That drink looks like the kratom that I drink for pain except Kratom tastes as nasty as it looks.
Gotta get it just right before the birds move in
I would like to suggest to you to have a mama muscovado because it's a good incubator than a chicken
Will you put the pigeons in the area with the pea fowl
I tried AG1 it's so good I use it when I have PE at school. and when is Dolly the cow coming back from breeding
Hopefully in the next month or two
@@whitehouseonthehill that's good to know !!
I’ve tried AG1 before and it had a strong chalky taste how do you guys drink it so the chalky taste is minimal?
