Thanks for watching the cuteness! 🐶❤ Do you have a Snuggle Puppy? If not, are you ready to "add to cart"?

Absolutely worth it! My pup is now 2.5 yrs old and she still sleeps with it every night (without the heart-took it out when she begun sleeping through the night). She takes her Buddy out of her crate every morning after potty.

Just gave a deposit for my new puppy. This item is on the list of "stuff" to get before I go pick the new pup out. I will have a 6+ hour drive back by myself and I am hoping this little jewel of an item will help the pup and me out. Glad to hear it works, appreciate the review and info.

We had never used a snuggle puppy with any of our dogs but we’re gifted one with our latest puppy. Since we were having her sleep in her crate next to our bed I felt safe putting it with her at night. It was also winter so I put the warmer in the puppy as well as turning on the “heart beat”. Now she was and is a very confident puppy, but she slept all night with no whining! Never had a new puppy do that. When we put her in her crate unsupervised we put the puppy with the heart beating on top so there was no chance she would chew it. Might I add that she had never been in a crate until we brought her home. Now every morning when I let her out of the crate she brings her puppy and gives it to me. I highly recommend this. Easiest crate training we have ever done.

    Worth it.
Don’t use the heartbeat anymore, but my 9 month old poodle pup still carries it around as his go to bedtime toy, we play fetch with it too 😂
More robust than you’d think too.

I would never have a puppy without one of those Snuggle pups! Best $40 I spent! My dog (now 3 years old) STILL loves her 'puppy' and goes to bed with her at night...carries her around like a pup all over the house during the day. Well worth the price, even if only for the entertainment factor.

Amazing snuggle puppy. Didn’t use it at first for my Shih Tzu puppy’s first night in my apartment. We went to bed around 10pm but he woke up wanting to get out of the crate at midnight…
Made him potty and then Gave him a chewy bone, a Kong filled with treats, some toys, and the snuggle puppy.
He whined when I went away but slept for the remainder of the night! The heartbeat really works. Felt like he calmed him down and relieved his separation anxiety..
It’s the second night now and he only whined for 10min and now he’s asleep! Safe to say he has found his new best friend! Love the snuggle puppy!

We used one with our Golden retriever and Goldendoodle. My retriever grew out of it by the time she was 1 yr old. The Doodle still carries hers around like it’s her baby. They both worked very well and crate training. I highly recommend getting one. Especially if you want sleep.

I’ve just ordered one to see if my pup will settle in her crate, mainly during the day. She’s been with me for two weeks now, and I feel this will help a lot. Thank you for the review.

I had three puppies two without snuggles and the most recent puppy with a snuggle pup. I was prepared for a week of bad sleep and a even had a week off. We had a towel from mom and litter mates and a snuggle pup that we rubbed ALL OVER mom. Our puppy had ZERO issues sleeping and crate training. He still loves his snuggle pup after about 14 months and it’s the only toy he hasn’t destroyed. We only used the heartbeat for a week or two but now he just plays really gently with it now. My wife says it was crazy how well he did. I strongly recommend and would never have another puppy without one!

I got a snuggle puppy , adaptil plugin , covered crate and fold out playpen before I got my dog two and a half years ago. The snuggle puppy did help for a few weeks.
I've followed your training advice and Victoria Stillwell's training advice to train her.
Now she's a very well behaved dog. She absolutely loves people and she's extremely calm around other dogs.
In fact a dog almost bit her a few days ago and she didnt flinch , growl or show her teeth.
What happened was a fig owner had his dog on a retractable lead and had had his back turned. Suddenly his dog came towards us and was millimeters from breaking my dog's skin.
He said "sorry she is all noise but she wouldn't hurt your dog" despite the fact his dog was ready to bite my dog.

I love your videos! My 5 month old puppy has had a snuggle
puppy for a couple of months now. I used it with the heartbeat for bedtime and nap time, it really helped. The heartbeat went wonky so I use without now. Now she mostly likes to vigorously hump it 😂. I let her do that because she seems to get some of her energy (frustration?) out on it. Hopefully I’m right in letting her. Thanks so much for all of the great content!

We are happy you enjoy our channel! Humping is usually a sign of overstimulation, or the pup is trying to help herself settle. If it's excessive, you might redirect her. Watch the schedule and try putting her down for a nap a little earlier.

Both of my Shih Tzu dogs have one. This helped them transition from the liter to our home. I definitely think the heartbeat was helpful. They still lay on it nightly. I only used the heat packs the first week.

I highly recommend the Snyggle Puppy! I bought one before picking up our 9-week old puppy and another for her sister who we got a few months later. I even bought one for our 2 year old but the puppies stole that one. Fast forward two years and they still sleep and play with their Snuggle Puppies every day. Those are the only toys with no holes. They come out of washer like new too. Well with the cost.

I used a snuggle puppy from coming home at 8 weeks. She still uses it during the night to lean her head on but had to remove the heartbeat around 12 weeks as I found it in her mouth. Didn’t seem to upset her sleeping pattern. My pup slept through from 3rd night and never have a problem.

My puppy is 9 months old, has had hers since she was 6 weeks, and she wrestles with it. Always has. Lol it is not a snuggly toy for her. It is super durable, btw. No holes/rips/tears in it or anything. The velcro on the back is super strong.

I say it us worth every penny on the investment. Tommi came home at 3 weeks, and it dramatically helped with the transition. Even now, when she gets nervous or lonlely, she snuggles with it in her "room." She knows crate as crate or room. She's not allowed yet to go upstairs and sleep with us as she's hyper when we go upstairs as it is a new area. I would rather focus on exposure and self sooth than being all over the place. It's also a great tool to take in the car to help her become comfortable.

    • @HowToTrainADreamDog
      @HowToTrainADreamDog  Рік тому +1

This is exactly what we recommend: create a small safe space for your nervous puppy, and introduce new rooms slowly. Well done! And we love that the Snuggle Puppy helped you!

@HowToTrainADreamDog as I am re-potty training Felix. Tommi no longer goes out to the back, she would rather go with us. Codi stays in as Tommi's energy triggers Codi into pulled, and I don't want any of them being hurt.
When Tommi, Felix, and I go out Tommi holds the least for about 45 seconds then jumps around like a bunny. Way cute and silly. She later will hold the leash again when it seems as though she's uncomfortable or nervous. Is there a way yo help her be less nervous/anxious while we are outside?

    • @HowToTrainADreamDog
      @HowToTrainADreamDog  Рік тому +1

This will come down to slow, calm sessions where she spends time outside or near the outside while feeling positive about it. Check out this video for some tips: ua-cam.com/video/mgPViZGH3sY/v-deo.html

i guess i was lucky that my dog felt right at home when i first got him. He literally slept almost through the entire first night at home (except for one potty break). I was the one that did not get any sleep because I was so anxious that he would be crying all night. 😅
At least i know that there is a product that can help with puppy anxiety in case i get a second dog.

If she's already doing well in the crate and has adjusted well to your home, she might not need it. If she's still struggling with the crate or with being alone, it could be a good tool to help her.

My 14 week old Yorkie will do one of these 2 things. Find out where the Velcro is, open it up and start chewing on the heart or he'll give up his turtle plushie and start humping the snuggle puppy.
