"Hey look, it's the indestructible guy who has super strength! I'd better go over and start a fight, I can't imagine anything that could go wrong with that plan"
They didn't do well with the IQ test
Lol!
My first thought as well but it does make a good movie scene. And this is basically a comedy.
😂😂
They think that he lost his powers because he got captured
Let's be real, the thing that truly makes this scene splendid is the reactions of the other prisoners. It wouldn't be half as good without them reacting the way they did.
And the fact that they didnt show it happening, and then somehow hes half way across the room, being sickened by his own handiwork.
Then Will slapped him hard.....
Agreed😊😊
Just like when the monkey came out the dude’s ass in Bruce Almighty!!
Honestly it's all kind of disgusting. If a man did this to a woman on film - even if she was awful or violent - it would be called out as disgusting, rape etc.
But if it happens to men it's okay.
Hancock's calmness made this scene even more hilarious . The way the inmates reacted sold it all, absolute gold lmao..

I did as well and I'm not Christian.
@@NazriBtf do you mean lies?

Jason Bateman asking Hancock did he shove a man’s head up another man’s butt had the whole movie theater crying 😂
he`s voice is so straight and serious,,,,
That has Marty Bird energy
We're going to circle back to that 😅
probably because he was a child star and nobody ever heard him cuss until now, but I seriously doubt that
That is gold lol 😆...to play it straight faced too ...
"Y'all fellas sure you wanna ride this train?" Such a badass line.
And that nigga says and calls hancock an choo choo asshole
1:18 he makes a headbutt to that big guy
Pain train
and then the idiot says: Choo Choo M*th*r F*ck*r!
(As someone else suggested that perhaps the Guards told all of the Inmates on that Cell Block that Hancock had lost all of his powers and then sat back and watched the monitors & eating popcorn, just to see what happened next!)
He makes him the caboose in that train.
One of the funniest scenes ever. And all of the horrified looks of disgust and disbelief on the extras faces, gold.
Plus the guys laughing...making it even funnier
Even the look on Hancock's face was funny.

Between the inmates and the Stanford and son theme, this scene will never not be funny 😂😂😂
Sanford but close enough...
Haha, *Stanford*.
the theme truly made it better.
Jason Bateman is pure gold in this scene. The way he so calmly says “we’re going to circle back to that” is straight up hilarious.
It’s funny when Jason says it but not Jen Psaki!
He was great in the whole movie! I liked everyone's performance, but I loved jason Bateman's!
It's a Hollywood setup of Jen saki taki to use as though she's intelligent and in with the times.
I fell clean out🤣🤣🤣
Jason didn't notice anything peculiar about his wife? Especially making love?
Not only did you pick a fight with a literal superhuman but he even warned you EXACTLY what was going to happen....
Yeah, and they should know Hancock does exactly what he says he's going to do.
There is no cure...for stupid-!
Those dummies thought they could hurt the black superman.
Exactly, but these assholes thought that he had some kind of device that made him super and it was now confiscated by the officers.
yeah and they still wont believe that he can do something like that 😂
Give an Oscar to all of those extras. The horror faces were awesome lol.
I love how the other inmates forgets he has super powers.🤣
well they assumed he lost them and that's how they got HanCock in prison no one there thought Hancock would go willingly🤣🤣🤣

They did the same thing in "Bruce Almighty", just after a monkey came out of the guy's butt.
That's a genuine reaction to something like that, actually good writing lmfao
Especially that guy praying at 1:25.
As a Spanish guy myself, I'm sure he was Hispanic American
That’s the best part of the scene! That and the Sanford and Son theme! 😂
I love how Will Smith plays every scene in this movie like he’s having to come into work after only getting 3 hours sleep.
It’s a great performance.

It's possible they thought he lost his powers since he was in prison. They probably couldn't imagine someone volunteering to be jailed. Otherwise they were insane to confront him like that.
Yes exactly why would man with super Human Powers willing volunteer to be jailed. I bet the they thought he lost his powers that's the only plausible expiation.
@@wolwerine0007
Well, Superman has voluntarily been jailed before.
@@2bituser569 Yes Agree. But it seems stupid to make beings with superpowers, obey the law. The fact that he has enough power to rule the world but instead the super Hero of his own free will chooses to go to jail. Is so Stupid. I think a Super Hero should follow his own rules like Deadpool.

The part that gets overlooked is how Hancock calmly cuts a circle in the glass, pops it out, (CLEARLY demonstrating that he doesn't need to be there a second longer than he intends to), and asks: "how long did you say they wanted me in here?" 👀😅 #classic
There was the time in Angel season 4 (2003) when they don't so much break Faith out of prison, but tell her that she no longer needs to stay, and is needed elsewhere.
Don't forget later when he accidentally throws the basketball over the fence. He just calmly jumps over, gets the ball, and then jumps back in.
Yea, so he's able to cut not just the glass but the wire reinforcement grid as well with his glass cuttin' fingernail. His nail clippers must be mo-fo's! 😂😂😂
Right. That's one of the reasons I love this movie. They actually think they can control and stop him from doing what he wants...😂

People act surprised like inmates can't be foolish like this but they can... some years back we had an east coast mafia guy brought into our west coast jail on a hold out of New Jersey. We got 3 phone calls from 3 different state and federal agencies about him before he ever even made it into custody. I have dealt with plenty of bad guys including murderers but NEVER in my entire career did we have multiple agencies calling us ahead of time to tell us/warn us about anyone like that aging mafia guy. He was no small guy either, almost 6 and a half feet tall. Some inmates tried to "befriend" him, but he wanted nothing to do with it & just essentially swatted them away like annoying little flies telling them to f*ck off. I worked graveyard at the time which meant we passed the meds to the inmates & usually it was just one lone deputy in each unit. But not while the mafia guy was there, without me ever saying a word, the giant stoic former infantry Marine I worked with stood right next to me at the med cart. He never said a word about why he was there right next to me but I knew. It was unspoken but he knew that I knew. The aging mafia guy never gave us any problems and left not long after. But now I can't remember if it was the feds that picked him up or not...

For me, it's not the actual portrayal but the setup lines uttered and reaction of hardened criminals getting their minds blown. We have all heard people threaten to break their foot off or heard someone say to another to get their head out of someone's rear. This is the first time I've seen it portrayed.
