He saved this man from being hit by a train, and no one said "good job" they all immediately tore into him telling him how he should of done this and coulda done that. I think he's saying even tho NO ONE appreciates him, even when it's really bad and they need him they hate him, still, and call him names...he still helps them. He drinks because it hurts and he's alone and confused. Ray really was a badass throughout this film. He supported Hancock when pretty much everyone else hated him. He was willing to work through a ton of issues with Hancock for months. Then after it was revealed that his own wife is the literal soul mate for Hancock, and that she and Hancock are actually DESIGNED to love each other till death, he doesn't really hesitate and still fully loves her. Ray was even willing to attack an armed criminal to defend Hancock, who was recovering from a gunshot. For a completely normal guy with absolutely no training or previous experience with anything heroic, the man is a genuine badass.

It wouldn’t be fair. Hancock is literally black Superman without lazors. Immortal and has lived for what thousands of years? As long as he’s away from Mary or whatever her name is he’s immortal and basically Superman with no weaknesses. Everyone apart of the seven was normal humans given superpowers from a bottle in a lab. It would probably take him 20-30 seconds max to kill everyone in the seven if he really tried. Probably less time than that.

Yeah, that part ruined the movie. But then again, I'm not sure where the plot would have gone if not for the woman. Kal vs Zod wasn't what we were looking for, nor was Kal vs Lex (this would have been more like Zod vs Lex, in which case, Lex would be deader than dead).

2:30 it's fascinating that Hancock doesn't grasp why anyone would be upset that their property was damaged or destroyed because he's immortal and barely has any possessions of his own. He's basically thinking, "I saved your life! Why are you upset?"
