@@bobross8585 from what i’ve found on the Predecessor website under the FAQ tab, the question states;
Q: As a console player, can I purchase an Early Access bundle on steam and transfer to console upon release?
A: This isn’t something we are able to confirm at this time, so for now you should play with the assumption that bundles bought on one platform cannot be transferred to another. We will support cross-play and plan to support cross-platform progression. We will be unlikely to support cross-platform wallet functionality, meaning Platinum might not transfer across accounts as this is a mountainous task to achieve (but we are still discussing it with the console platforms).

No they're not helping to fund it. They gave them a grant which they gave to a lot of games that is all.

Also epic put a statement out regarding pred
Said they believed in the project and that it was essentially paragon reborn. They gave them the grant and also got them more funding from other sources.
Epic also gave them another grant so that epic can give the game out for free. It was free for everyone during the second week of December
Pred is alsoade up of devs and CEO who played and streamed paragon almost 24/7
They all missed it and put their money where their mouth was and learned to code and design so they could revive paragon.
Epic saw this and commended them on it.
Out of all 3 attempts at reviving paragon(Fault, Overprime, and Predecessor) Pred is the only one to have this amount of support from not only fans and OG paragon players, but also from epic and other sources.
Lastly overprime and pred are the only two still around. Overprime is regarded as the more fast paced game that focuses more on hero kills. While pred plays more like a MOBA.
I love how Kira and Zarus (overall Kira) are a central part of the trailer and appear a lot, they look so good in the screen

@@cajemTTV they just took gameplay, slowed it down, put music over it, and manipulated the camera angles.. they could've done much better. It needs to be a cinematic trailer for the free to play launch because this won't cut it to grasp people who have no idea of Paragon or Pred prior to the trailers.

FINALLY been a huge fan of the game since day one of og Paragon. Played the over prime beta with new friends and everyone loved it. Everyone kept saying how much better predecessor is so I'm praying the hype isn't for nothing 🙏😁
hype its always for nothing, thats why im making a dissertation with others about the effects that over hype is bringing to some people. Not everyone reacts the same to same situations, but theres evidence that these kind of hype its making people feel more anxious and depressed in general. Can you answer me one question ? Where is your hype PAragon ? remember all that hype you had, first hours you played with friends all that fun, where is all that hype now ? Have you been still playing paragon ? Are you having fun with PAragon ?

most think its better because of how slow it is compared to paragon op.. but after getting used to mkb these pass few years. these console version going to feel slow regardless to me now.😂😂

@@Hinokami777 I have not played overprime but I did choose predecessor because it seems a lot more faithful to Paragon. It's great, just try it out, you won't regret it!

I played paragon so much back in the day, its a happy new to know its coming back after all this time. Thanks to Omeda Studios for not leting it die. I'll definetly playing this version.

EDIT: Been playing pred on consoles and the gameplay feels awesome, smooth and polished. But there needs to be build loadouts for each character so we can get in the gameplay faster, takes forever to look up items for a build etc loadouts are important. The way to get free characters needs to be changed to a more free to play system that paragon had with earning coins by playing. Cosmetics are high priced. Devs need to make money but look at what epic does with fortnite. Make a battle pass system where it gives you a good enough currency back when you pay for it to buy the next one. make skins and Cosmetics reasonably priced and entice players to buy the Cosmetics outside of the battle pass making them short for the next BP and have to buy it again. They overall UI is manageable but looks like a beta UI (needs alot of polish). The new original characters are fun and fit the games looks and overall feel very well. Hope devs see this.

I played paragon on console. I got a pc and have tried both pred and overprime and I have to say predecessors has a way better feel and the controls for controllers feel identical to when paragon was out can’t wait to finally play with my friends on ps5
