    The bathroom install in the front is million dollar advice. I have done several drawings and never once considered doing that. I will now when I do my build. Thank you.

    Im a contractor,so I feel like an idiot for not thinking of that bathroom set up. It would be the easiest way to share the plumbing wall, and it has a ton of room. You could LITERALLY just install a fiberglass shower surround with a large pan. Freaking sweet!!!

    Seriously great job! I personally think you hit the perfect balance of practical for hauling w/necessities for camping. Not overly done, but not skimped on either. Solid build and solid video. Much appreciated.

    Nice build! I have a 2010 Haulmark toy hauler cargo trailer conversion. I bought it already set up from the original owner back in 2019 to go to Sturgis, and then out west. I have done significant upgrades to it, but it has no bathroom. I'm ok with that as I always stay where there is one, but I love your setup. I have a couple of videos. Thanks for sharing!

    Man, is that the bomb ! You really impressed me. You mentioned the reasons for the build, and I know you missed all the things that fall apart on a bought bumper pull, but was it astronomical , no I know and you have the quality, great job.

    Nice build 👍👍 I mounted two 30mm ammo cans on the side of my trailer just behind the fenders, they make great outside storage boxes and don't interfere with the turning radius.

    Another thing, I see there are 3 maybe 12 coolers, and that makes a lot of sense, the vehicle, the open all the time one and...did my heart good to see, be a use that astronomical expensive one I got still isn't enough, and how it could be called a 58 court, God knows.

    I like this setup. I am gathering ideas from everyone. I can't really do too much because I use my trailer for work. Could you please let us know where you got the outside lights, the outside table, and maybe elaborate more on the attachment for hanging the tv outside?
    Thanks 😊

    As long as it works for you and you're comfortable with and in , it doesn't really matter what it looks I would be happy and comfortable in it just the way you have it. An idea for your bunk that you want ideas on. 1:get a rope hammock and tie it to your 2×4 that. you're using 10:40 2: go get some canvas material that they sometimes use to make hammocks and attach two sides to your 2×4's and basically make a hammock out of them. I say that since you seem to like what you have burnout pleased with the way it currently looks. Only reason I'd be concerned with the way you have it is because I know how easy the blankets you are using can rip.

    Fabricate a cool rope ladder. :) I saw how you had redone the bunk bed in a later vid (nice). getting up and down, is what I am refering to as to a rope ladder. Travel mode perfect.

    The balance between carrying the toys and feeling like a camper when they are removed. It is a tough balance. I converted a 6x12 I already owned back in the spring of 2020 when I found myself with time on my hands, and now wish I would have traded it for a larger trailer. I am now looking again and watching videos for ideas. I'm thinking I would like to go with a 7x16 narrow track so it looks like an 8.5 without the width of an 8.5 that happens with the 7 foot wide with external fenders.

    Heya! I love this set up! I wanted to ask whats the length of this trailer? I've seen smaller ones and like 32 ft ones and those are crazy! Yours is so nice tho.
    I'm hoping to save up money for the next two or three years and get a 8.5x28 or 32 ft trailer depending on what I wanna do. But I really wanna convert one of these into a full time home and go with a longer frame so I can turn the back into a sorta green house that I can grow tons of stuff in and the lights can be powered by solar panels! I know it might sound way to much but I really do wanna make something thats me, ya know?

      @MisfitRZR  Рік тому +1

      18’x8.5. The v in the front helps. When it was empty before the build, it measured 20’ from the inside of the V to the back wall. Hope this helps

      @FritzyFreak Рік тому

      @@MisfitRZR Dang!!! Really? 18' looks so big! I thought it would be cool to get a 32' one and kinda cute the end into its own room and make it into a little green house sorta room. It might be stupid but I think it would be cool to have a room for growing a bunch of plants I could use to cook or eat.

    What’s your tongue weight? I ended up building and installing a large in floor storage made from 1/8’’ steel. My cargo trailer conversion was pretty tongue heavy. The storage was around 130 pounds to help transfer some weight back to back. I keep lead shot steel bags in there when I’m empty.

    • @MisfitRZR
      @MisfitRZR  Рік тому +1

      I use a wt dist hitch. I have two 13 gallon and a 20 gallon water tank all in front of the axels that I use to manage my weight. With that said, with the side by side loaded (backed in) and all tanks full, it would be about 1000lbs. Total weight of trailer with that same scenario is 7400lbs, which puts my tongue right in that 10-15% range. Hope this helps.

    • @MisfitRZR
      @MisfitRZR  Рік тому +2

      Thanks for question. It weighs 4700#s loaded with all camping supplies and full 20 gallon water tank. It weighed around 3300 before I started the conversion. When it is fully loaded with my 4 seater, gas tanks, etc. it comes in at 7200. One thing that I have leaned now is how important the water tank place is. If I need to get more weight toward the front, I have the 13 gallon black and 13 gallon grey tanks that I can fill too.

    The only issues I can see on the outside or where you have your shore, power hooked up and your city water hook up and your fill tank hook up because you don’t really ever want electricity and water in the same spot if you ever have a leak in your city water hook up you’re gonna fill that electrical outlet with water and possibly have a short

    Propane water heaters are extremely dangerous indoors due to carbon monoxide poisoning, many people died from this every year in my hometown many years ago.
    Yes, they were smart enough to open the bathroom window while taking a shower.
